Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Shen Nian is a beastman rabbit that Qi Jinnan picked up from the roadside and brought home. He’s a silly rabbit. At first, Qi Jinnan couldn’t help but shower Shen Nian with all his affection. However, Shen Nian would only blush shyly each time. Gradually, Qi Jinnan realized that Shen Nian couldn’t be a substitute; he couldn’t learn to play the piano or recite poetry.
What Qi Jinnan didn’t see was that Shen Nian could make beautiful and delicate cakes and cook various dishes that he loved. Unfortunately, Qi Jinnan was solely focused on finding a perfect substitute. Shen Nian couldn’t understand why his lover suddenly stopped loving him, but he still foolishly prepared meals every day, waiting for a lover who might not return.
Later, Shen Nian made a mistake. To his surprise, all the pain he had endured in the beastman laboratory couldn’t compare to the heartache caused by Qi Jinnan’s words: “You’re nothing but a substitute.” Shen Nian, in his naivety, didn’t understand what a substitute meant, but he knew that Qi Jinnan didn’t love him.
Eventually, Shen Nian, feeling hopeless, chose to leave. He left that place forever, carrying his baby with him. It was then that Qi Jinnan began to regret his actions. At first, he frantically searched for Shen Nian, and then he knelt before him, saying, “I was wrong… Nian Nian.”
