The noble young ladies are either rude or have nothing but flowers in their heads.

Even in an era when such stories were rampant, there were people who taught them.

This story is about a mercenary commoner MC trying to become the strongest mage and along the way, teaching noble girls magic, fixing their issues and gaining more notoriety from fixing problematic noble girls. A good chunk of this story is from the POV of the girls on the cover, naturally since it's from the POV of noble girls, it can sometimes feel like reading a otome isekai type story with a lot of social and political maneuvering but that's it's own charm.

All the heroines don't orbit the MC (in... more>> the earlier parts of the story anyway) and do things independently, it takes the heroines a very long time to develop love for the MC which makes it feel realistic. There are very few battles but there is a battle at the end of every arc. It's mostly focused on the MC's magic growth, the growth of the heroines and after awhile, it becomes a political intrigue kind of story.

It's reincarnation story but it's almost never brought up, MC's past life is never mentioned, the world is said to be a story but whether it's a game or a novel is never brought up. There are no game screens or stats. MC has no knowledge about the future. Magic academies exist in this world but MC never enters an academy neither do any of the characters in the story, labyrinths are mentioned but are often skimmed over and MC never has an arc where he's in a cave for 10 chapters.

Overall, I feel this story is very unique, the magic system is reminiscent of mushoku tensei's magic system, the character chemistry is very good, this may look like an academy type story but it's nothing like it. <<less

It's good right now. It's a reincarnation story, but the flow is nice. No scene jumps and no over-exposition. The fact that a teacher died was also interesting. The POV is from a few characters, and it feels really grounded from all of them. The MC doesn't feel like OP, even when he is called a prodigy; there is intention in his actions and magic use. The Wild magic and structured noble's magic sets are interesting. The young noble learning magic was a nice emotional scene.
