I am a Sierra who lost her husband and family to a friend, Bellieta.

In the end, I also lost my life, but when I opened my eyes again, I realized that I had returned 7 years ago.

I have made a decision. I’ll take everything Bellietta had: Bellietta’s fiance, Aden Rippleton, her life and I’ll destroy her just like she did to me.

“Be my man, Aden Rippleton.”

All that remains for Bellietta will be despair and death.

There will be no mercy for anything.

The concept is so great but the author managed to wreck the whole story. Argh!!! SO FRUSTRATED !

The pros :

● The FL has a calm yet strong personality (she's not ice cold or dumb, which, are character archetypes I dislike).

... more>> ● Not everything works in fl's favor

The cons :

- The ML and the FL are incompetent.

First, Sierra doesn't do anything to improve her social image.

I believe improving her social image should have been the first step in defeating bellieta (who's social image shields her heavily).

Doesn't she comes from the future ? Hasn't she seen new dressing styles ? She could have picked up one she liked and used it to come out of the rumours about her copying belieta.

And while doing that, she could have also attracted other nobles and forled connections or even a little social circle around her.

But just like for many other things, she doesn't do anything.

Next: the confrontations with belietta.

In each confrontation with Bellieta, it feels like Serria doesn't manage to even as much as scratch her power. And while she could have started to plan in order to beat her up in the next confrontation, she just doesn't. Hell! Even at the end of the book, it's just luck that made her win.

As a kakao comment said:" Do you call it revenge if you are beaten up 10 times and only retaliate one time?"

What about the ML then?

I think if he wasn't in the story, nothing mych would have changed. Yeah, it's to this point. He, as the lord of a crumbling state should have long since started to seek other means in order to stay afloat financially. But since our dear MC needed a" high ranking" love interest, this useless person that she could use as she pleased (because of his state's difficulties) was thrown in. He never plans for himself or for his state, he is always on the side when MC does something and only appears when he needs to protect her physically, or emotionally support her.

Besides, the empire cutting down their only mean of survival and not granting them an official title should have made the previous" archidukes" work in order to get out of this hole. I mean, it seemed like the author just stopped everyone ́s thought process so that the MC who appeared out of nowhere would be the duchy 's only escape route, while we all know they could have very much found someone else long ago.

Honestly I don't even understand why she chose Aden (the Ml) , since he doesn't have enough political or social power to shake up the Bozbon family (villainess's family).

Having him in her hands felt like a waste to me. No. Having any man from this kingdom as a husband felt like a waste to me, since even the emperial family could not put up much of a fight against the bozbon.

I believe the solution to all of this would have been for her to go to a neighbouring empire who can match or overpower the empire she's from, marry a high ranking nobleman and take revenge through his help, or just take her family with her there and create more businesses while managing the estate from there, before making political connections within that empire, in order to protect it. In this second case, she could even start to make contributions to that country and earn a noble title , or just live quietly but with a huge load of money.

There are many ways to go about her situation. But I guess the author is not that good at writing political intrigues; only small witty confrontations around silly things.

- When the author makes the antagonist too competent.

Kr authors like to write dumb antagonists for the mc's "smarts" to show which is annoying. But another thing that is equally annoying is when an MC is beaten to a pulp by the antagonist and only manages to win by sheer luck in the end.

Bellieta is smart. Her family is influencial. And she's obsessed with stomping on fl.

I believe it is enough reasons to avoid a confrontation with her when you basically have nothing but money going on for yourself.

Yet the FL does that, and in the end, it just feels like her " victory " was ccontrieved.

- The author's writing style!

She/he likes to describe the characters' appearances and degrading comments about MC. Except, it's too long winded ! And if so much time would have been put into creating the plot this book, would have been a better one.

- MC doesn't actively seek the cause of her rebirth, nor is she particularly concerned about that mysterious necklace (and who's that master of hers again; the one who gave her the necklace?).

- The author was confused.

It can be seen that he/she hasn't made a clear plan of the story.

Because :

● The story isn't focused on seeking revenge but on waiting for it to come to us. Sierra does not actively seek revenge (except for when she 'stole' Aden from Bellieta). Rather, it's as if she lives her old life, and only once in a while, attacks bellieta. But even then, it's only in reaction to something bellieta did first.

● As stated before, having Aden held no significant impact and there was no purpose other than slightly irritating Bellieta (and sierra still endured a loss here, since a rumour said that Aden was Bellieta 's fiancee before she could publicly announce that he was hers).

● It's strange how Sierra doesn't tries to make other friends and how nobody is said to understand bellieta's nature and be mild in their interactions with her; or just seek to shirk away the bozbon's hegemony.

● The political aspect of the story is glossed over when it should have been the core aspect of the book (Sierra's family didn't lack funds. What they lacked was political power).

All this goes to show how even the author herself/himself didn't know the way the revenge, the central aspect of the story, should have gone.

Tl : dr : overpowered villainess, incompetent FL and ml, bad plot progression, author confused on the way to make FL take revenge. <<less
