You know the drill. The infinite regression trope, we all know it. But in this novel, it takes a slightly different path. No matter what the protagonist does, he will regress three months back. Every bit of progress he makes, every connection he builds, it all resets at the end of the day.

And this is where it gets interesting. This means everything he does is basically pointless. After going through so many regressions, he starts getting scared, scared... more>> that this "dream" is never going to end. Becoming the richest person in the world, the most famous one, it's all pointless if it just resets again in three months.

The story mostly follows how someone who can go back in time infinitely deals with that. You can guess that if it never ends, he could go insane. But instead, he decides to treat each life more preciously. A group of kids laughing at his unicycling skills, an old man collecting scrap metal, a guy just wasting away after getting separated from his daughter, he treasures all of them. And because of all the skills he's picked up through his endless regressions, he can make them smile. Giving kids candies, talking to them, donating money he doesn't even need anymore.

He knows everything will reset. So he tries to keep some distance, not get too attached, just to protect his own mind. It's a really different kind of story, a philanthropist making the most of his time instead of chasing pleasures with the money he has. He wants to feel the joy in life. Even if it ends up being meaningless, it still doesn't erase the fact that he helped someone.

Bit off-topic, but even though it's tied in with a Vtuber-centered plot, I honestly love how the author wrote the protagonist.

He's genuinely a good person. Unrealistic? Maybe. We'll never know, no one's experienced infinite regression while also climbing to the top of life. But still, despite all his power and the fact that he can't die, he does a lot of good. I mean, he literally commits su*cide in the very first chapter, but the way he holds onto his sanity and doesn't get lost in power? That's something. He never ab*ses what he has. His view on life stays grounded, and he treats each new moment like it's worth something. Even with how repetitive his life is, he keeps looking for something new.

I know I'm probably assuming too much, and the story itself might not even be that deep or mind-blowing, but I really think it's written well on its own. The Vtuber stuff is probably just riding on the TS trend in Novelpia. Still, I'd really love to read more of the protagonist's experiences. Maybe the author just isn't skilled enough yet to take it further, or maybe they're just more focused on the Vtuber theme, but I still respect that.

Now, what I really can't stand about these "Vtuber" or "Streaming" focused webnovels is the comments section. Seriously, it's such a waste of time. Authors just don't care and shove in a bunch of useless comments to stretch out chapters. It adds nothing. Just filler. At least in Chinese novels, even those third-rate villains getting face-slapped have like 0.00001% impact on the story. But Korean "comments"? It's just brain-dead spam. Most of these novels are the same, though there are a few exceptions.

Honestly, instead of dragging it out with a wall of useless comments, authors should just show 3 or 4 useful ones and move on. At least for this one, the author had some restraint and didn't dump comment spam in every single chapter.

I know I'm kind of rambling and not really reviewing the story properly. But I think it's decent as it is.
