I’d have gave it a 4 star but I don’t want the ratings to go down so a 5 it is.

First and foremost, if you liked the villainous daughter’s butler then you’ll like this. Albeit, this novel isn’t isekai nor is it otome. A fantasy and isekai, though they seem alike, the way the story builds up is pretty different. It’s just that the character dynamic between the two novels are pretty similar. This is just a fantasy world with your usual nobility and magic bs. Also I don’t want... more>> to see any incels saying that MC is a simp. I’ve seen that term is wrongly so fcking much it’s actually crazy. Nowadays, if someone calls a girl cute, there would a someone saying that they’re a simp. When I think of people like that, I think of Roblox playing, my hero academia watching, gen alpha terms using—ass kids.

So we have Roth and princess Krell as the main characters. They mentioned some of their past, but overall we don’t know much about it. The world’s magic revolves around “keys”, these keys lets people use magic and in ascending order, the rank goes 1 to 7. MC has the strongest defense key, of the sixth rank, and fMC has the strongest attack key, of the seventh rank. And together they do crazy sht. That’s why I didn’t feel any threat to them at any point in the novel. Like in typical fantasy world fashion, the imperial family is corrupted and fcked. The MC knows that, the fMC knows that but fMC doesn’t want MC to kill anyone. But she’s also not afraid to do sht when needed, which is hinted at from the epilogue.

Pros:

— Good MC, that isn’t scared to confess his love, I mean he does it every chapter. But I can see the author making him do this every single fcking moment, which can get pretty annoying. It only has one volume translated so I guess only time will tell.

—FMC also doesn’t shy away from showing love, though not as explicitly as MC.

—They’re cute.

—Diabetes.

—Fmc’s hair can turn white.

—Both MC and fMC can emphatically when it comes to each other. You can easily see this with the MC and we got some yandere vibes with fMC.

Cons:

—MC can’ kill anyone because of FMC, which is kinda annoying at times.

—In a lot of fantasy light novels, I don’t feel like there’s any threat to the main couple, even when it’s an event where you’re suppose to feel threat towards them. Novels like shinwa densetsu is like that too. Some novels can do it well but sometimes it’s just boring. But this might just be a “me” thing.

—One volume ain’t enuf to list more cons, unless I want to nitpick which is too tedious for me right now.

Over all it’s not bad. Don’t expect anything that hasn’t been done before. If you like a fantasy novel with a non-dense MC, a not-so annoying fMC, diabetes, main couple are both strong (technically), and butler-oujo combo then this is for you. <<less
