This story made me understand that just because I like yuri doesn't mean I'll like all yuri stories. I've read some yuri before that I thought "Oh, that's crap." but I still enjoyed reading it a bit, I didn't feel it was a complete waste of time.

Cute fluffy story between a regent and princess with much physical contact and one chapter of smut. They get pretty handsy and are really cute interacting with each other.

The first two chapters are difficult to read, but after that, it gets really fluffy and interesting.

This is sweet, fluffy and funny GL short novel between princess and regent. I love their interact. They are so cute. It’s best GL short story that warm you heart. Recommend this novel if you are into lovey dovey, sweet story.

Huh, so there's something beyond Yuri being soft girl on girl? Didn't want to start by being an a**hole, but already being, it's Ancient China, just by being female they have just cause to lynch you for playing on a higher position.

The ending, at the time it felt abrupt, and it still is, but as soon as their relationship got explained, the author likely finished the story he would like to tell, that we got more was a push for the comedy he wanted to achieve.

All in all, I rate this 4, because NU base for good is 4. I wouldn't say it is good to the point of surpassing this limit, but for how much time you invest, it drives the punch. <<less

This novel may not be for everyone but don't say it's crap until you've tried reading this shit! Don't judge a book by it's cover. Judge a book because it doesn't have yuri! Yuri is life! Novice TL is awesome. This review is a paid actor.

I love stories with princesses and such, but this was genuinely so hard to read. I could barely get through the first chapter, and I stopped there. The translation is not very good, and I think the footnotes are messed up---there are random numbers in places. There was no set up or slide into the story, it jumped in without any prior context. Maybe if the translation was good then learning on the spot of the novel's set universe worked would be fine, but everything was too difficult to understand.

Translation can be a bit hard to read, but that might also be due to the unserious nature of the novel itself, therefore I won't do it a disservice by pretending it is anything else.

That being said, it's a slice of life comedy that sometimes gives us some flashbacks to the Princess and Regent's past and it is pretty funny.

Also it is frankly insulting to the long history of fictional and real wlw by dismissing that some of the queer women of history (or sometimes in modern days) had to pretend as men in order to be with their partner. <<less

Recc for a laugh. It doesn't have an actual ending but it's really entertaining. The MCs are both around 30 and it's really just a light read best enjoyed by not overthinking and overanalyzing.

it's more like a 3.5 but let's give it a 4. The story pacing is strange and it wasn't always understandable but the story has some little background and the main characters are fun. Chapter 10 was a really fun moment xD

it's short so, even if you don't understand 100% of the story, you get the gist of it and it's cute x). The ending was a bit abrupt though. I won't say it's a good read but it's not to throw away either.
