In the book “The Sweet Wife of the Campus Heartthrob”, Chu Yang was an extremely capable female supporting character. She came from a poor family and had a weak and delicate appearance. She followed the main couple around pretending to be pitiable while secretly trying to sabotage their relationship so she could take the female lead’s place.

Later her true colors were revealed and she was spurned by everyone. When she fell ill, there was no one to take care of her and she died alone in her shabby little shack. By the time her body was discovered, it had already started to decay.

Chu Yang, a witch who had transmigrated into the book: …Crash! Why bother with men! Making money is so much better than chasing men.

Much later, Chu Yang secretly felt up the abdominals of the man next to her: Mmmm, sometimes playing with men is pretty nice too.

Chi Yan, who had just woken up, felt his ears turn red: My girlfriend seems to really like my abs, I should work hard to maintain them…

Read the translation and then got curious and read ahead in the RAWs. The story...... is interesting and somewhat compelling at the beginning, but definitely falls off after they beat the main antagonist and ... more>>

Honestly a little disappointed that there is basically no expansion on the supernatural world, and little use of Chu Yang's powers (after the main antagonist dies) except for prediction and the occasional healing spell. All in all, an interesting premise, but the author falls into the pit of wanting to describe the life of the rich and wealthy (including how infallible they are in the face of the law...), with little interesting developments or real conflicts occurring (since Chu Yang can literally predict everything bad and stop it before it happens, while all other 'conflicts' are people basically trying to court either Chu Yang or Chi Yan because they're hot and/or rich) after the main antagonist dies and the main protags get together.

TLDR: Okay story but bland, especially after the main antagonist dies. Not particularly deep, and mainly about the Chi Yan spoiling Chu Yang and them living a good life together. Turn off your brain when reading and it'll be somewhat enjoyable if that's what you're into. <<less

Had a nice premise, but it overused its use of tropes and so the execution fell flat. I dropped this when the author threw amnesia in, because I realised I didn’t actually care what happened next and I hadn’t for a very long time.

The translation is certainly readable, but you can tell it used an MTF with someone coming back over the top of it. They never get the genders wrong, but you’ll encounter random issues with names left over from the MTF that the editor just missed. The male... more>> lead gets called ‘itchy yan’ a few times as an example. <<less

HAAAAAA, this had soo much potential for a nice slice of life/ supernatural/ doting romance then BOOM the worst trope of all Amnesia. Why? The story didn't need it, what so ever, I am holding on just cause I have spent so much time already reading it. If they wanted to introduce relationship issues within the couple, there were so many other ways. Will change review if I gets better but god damn. Also the POV can be confusing at times making it slightly harder to read at times.

It was a somewhat interesting premise but the execution quickly fell flat. I dropped it pretty early but there was honestly nothing I was looking forward to.

The MC was focused on money at first to fix her crystal ball, but once that is complete she just goes with the flow. No real plans other than a vague/general finish school and continue to make money. There's no more accounting of how much she's making. Honestly it's not entirely clear why she was supposedly poor in her last life? Is it simply because she's not 'rich'? We're told she has no interest in men... until she just accepts the ML's confession for reasons. Kinda treats him like a cute child at first because she happens to be a little older in her first life? But it's not like she's lived through the entirety of this life or has a vastly bigger amount of life xp? She's already been at a loss of how to handle some of her predictions and left the cleanup to the ML offscreen. Honestly this just feels like lazy writing on the part of the author. Doesn't want/can't write a convincing solution. It doesn't help that their relationship feels really bland at first. The ML is the only one really interested and their dates... it literally is just a log of what they did. Nothing romantic going on. No development of their characters. At most it's about how much other people are hitting on them.

Honestly all the characters can be lumped into either the close friends/fans of the MC/ML or a bunch of annoying flies that are spouting BS about one of them (mostly the MC). Especially annoying are the OGMC/ML and their circle. Nothing to see there.

Cute story of a transmigrating witch and her love life. Her partner is so clingy its funny. The are some cool battles as well. I do feel like it rambled at the end, but it was enjoyable to have a longer idea of what happens after their marriage. Sometimes books end too quickly.

It's an okay novel better than those typical transmigration.

I loved the relationship between the leads.

And amnesia trope made me feel like not again but I still read.

Overall not a bad read you can read it for time pass.

This is like the third time I tried to read this, would usually can't go on by chapter 50 or something.

I dunno, I feel like the author could have done better.

The plot are quite too much at some point, it feels nonsensical. It have the vibe of a low class theater? It's entertaining but just don't focus on the details.

The original FL and ML and their group seems to be lacking in the brain department. They act as if joining their group is such a sacred thing? No one in the group felt like there's something wrong with them.

The part of 'reading' the future is a big loophole as well, as it could have easily arouse suspicions, but no one seems to care. Everyone just depended on it like that just how it is. At some point, the way they informed people and the progress seems forced it can get too cliche.

For example, the celebrity gossips, it was posted and everything and it should have somehow made it to that artist's ear and warned them but it didn't anyways. The way the ML just led a group of men to stop a man from school, I mean, if I were the police I would be suspicious if they're actually in a group. But no, no investigations were made.

Yep, I'm dropping it again, maybe gonna try again some other time. <<less

I love the storyline and both MCs. I like the daily life stories interspersed between the plot line of the two mains. But the story telling here is good enough for me to not skip a whole arc of relationship building or dating scenes as I had done in many novels I've read before. I like that the FMC is portrayed to be cool, easygoing and steadfast but she actually expresses her partiality towards ML when it matters. The witchy part is not too much in our face and is... more>> not being explained well enough, in my opinion. The spells performed were too perfunctory, some things were mentioned in regard to potion making but a bit too brief, I think. A new premise I think to this transmigration/romance/fantasy type novels but it still left somethings to be desired tho it doesn't stop me from putting it in my worth reading again list since I love how the MCs relationship progress. Please keep in mind that I'm slightly overrating this due to my preference on how the relationship is portrayed in here.

PS: tried reading the translation first but the story makes more sense to me using google translate as it usually does so I went back to my usual. <<less
