English is not my original language, but I have taken the time to use the translator to leave my comment.

I just have to say that the first arc has left me with great dissatisfaction with its development, character relationship, and overall structure. Besides that his ending and extra were very "seriously?". Anyway, I really do not like to leave stories half in this way, but for this plus the fact that apparently they charge for reading later, I prefer to leave it until here and read something else.

Overall an ok novel with some room for improvement. Quick, simple and light read. The story focuses on the world hopping but it does leave a lot of gaps to fill at the end. Their real life, who they are or their backstory is omitted sadly and the ending feels rushed, I would say the author lost the plot and couldn't think of a suitable ending so they just wrote whatever..

Still it was fun to read, the different worlds were interesting and in general it was fluff..

This novel can be described with one sentence: So many brainless characters.

This isn't even the only problem this novel has but the amount of seriously brain dead characters is starting to really annoy me.

This is a good series but the problem is that one translator dropped and the there's a paywall of another translation. I don't even think the money goes to the original author. So 3 stars for the story but 1.5 stars for making it hard to find free translation

I'm going to waiting until it ends to give any review, but so far, I like this story. My cup of tea.

And I like the concept of plot of the white lotus female lead to death in this novel or every novel, because honestly I hate every female lead in bl novel. So annoying and always acting like a pure white lotus lady, while in the heart is black as tar. Typical, but, I enjoy the torture of the female lead. Need to vent out my anger to something I... more>> dislike, like this one, the female lead is my main target. Though... I like the idea of the love rival got tortures, too... My mind is getting more and more black after I read these kind of novel. Maybe I will transform to a black lotus spectator that loves to watches every love rival or annoying people in this novel get torment.

Gonna keep on check with the update, or maybe I will start to read the raw, nonetheless, not a problem. Because this is my cup of tea. :) <<less

It's interesting that people are commenting so negatively on a novel they haven't finished reading lol~

If they had finished it, they might have seen that the "absurd plot holes" they pointed out actually made sense. It's certainly not a perfect novel, and there's a lot that could be improved, but overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable read.

The system is not actually a system to protect the White Lotus, and MC is not someone who is randomly drawn into these worlds. In fact, he is here of his own volition. As for ML falling in love so randomly... well... they already have a relationship outside of these fictional worlds, sooo....

So basically, these worlds are actually a game that MC created, and since there is a bug in the software, MC decides to enter the worlds to find the bug. ML also decides to follow MC because their identities in the real world do not allow them to live the comfortable love life they want, and in doing so, he also erases MC's memory. So they can experience falling in love with each other again in the game.

The translation is pretty good for this novel, but there are so many inconsistencies in each arc that it ruined it for me. The author was very wishy washy in how they planned each arc.

Like a lot of other authors, in this novel you can see multiple perspective and thoughts on each character, not just the MC and ML. And ordinarily that’s fine, but the author is very inconsistent when it comes to the antagonist point of view. In one chapter you can read what the antagonist is thinking and... more>> then the next, every thought you read from is redundant because the author changes the characterization. If it’s done good then it’s an excellent read, but the transitions were so poor that it seemed forced. It’s the worst in arcs 3 and 6, so fair warning. <<less

At the beginning the story was good but as it progresses the MC becomes more and more s*upid and narcissistic, believing that he can do everything and in reality he doesn't do anything, like in arc 6, he didn't kill the white lotus even though he Everyone told him that he could do it because he thought he could handle it, and he didn't want another white lotus to be born. A white lotus from that same ancient world and a white lotus, from a modern era and also reborn,... more>> with special abilities that also know the future history, even an idiot would know how to choose, but the MC really chose the reborn?? And he still thought he was very intelligent because of his choice? And what's worse was that this decision lengthened the arc by about 30 more chapters. I'm not lying, it was super long and super annoying, I felt like giving up reading every now and then. MC was more cruel and decisive in the first arcs, I don't know what the hell happened? <<less

This novel is actually pretty decent, but the whole translation drama man... I just hope another group picks this up 'cause reading MTL really damages my brain cells.

In the 3rd world, ML has a split personality, so far so good, but in MTL you don't even get which one is talking to whom lol.

Anyways, if this novel changes hands, I'm all in to read more about this SSR+ Brain Ded White Lotus species and our environmentalist host.

Skip the first arc, skip the first arc, skip the first arc (Impotant things need to be said 3x)

I don't actually think arc 1 was that bad but it's probably the worst arc (?) and the reason for most of the bad reviews I skimmed through. It does have su*cide in it which is also worth avoiding if that makes you uncomfortable.

But overall, I think the logic chain the author tries to create and carry throughout the story is legit. It's definitely not the... more>> best story since there are some plot holes and areas where the MC is dumb/too arrogant, the love brained ML has no value at all, and the white lotus definitely can't be real. (The thought that there might be actual narcissists or not really smart people out there IRL who are like this terrifies me)

Basically, there are pros and cons. Mainly, I wouldn't force myself to finish this story if you find a really annoying part. Put it down or skip to the next arc. It has good variety and it's not a big deal to miss an arc or two

TLDR: 4 stars because I read it for fun and I took my time reading through the not good parts so I liked it. 3 stars because that's probably it's real rating with all the problematic parts. My serious recommendation is to skip arcs that you don't like since it won't really hurt your ability to understand the story and to put it down if you start getting tired or annoyed. <<less

I started reading this mainly for the sake of MC, the relationship between MC and ml, and the potential I saw in each arc and the book as a whole. I was able to read to the end, but from the middle it was mostly for the sake of finding out if the author would close all the holes that he left in the course of the plot.

We were given so many plot twists that led nowhere or were just abandoned. How many points were spent in the system store... more>> on different things, that have never been used or mentioned again. Some insignificant plot events were stretched out, and the climactic ones were crumpled and spit out.

This text had the potential to be beautifully developed into a cool story, but it turned out kind of pathetic thing.

I can't say that I didn't like it at all, but it would have been better if I hadn't forced myself to finish reading it, but had stopped at the first warning signs. But I've been spoiling myself with good plots lately and believed in the best. I give the first half a 4, the second a 2, and the final score is a 3. <<less

Soo it's Actually good but not really that great it's like the story is very rushed and I just feel like the MC is just a bit heartless if the novel is supposed to make the MC that way then it's OK but him leaving the ML isn't just a happy ending not because they didn't end up together but because there really was no point of them being together since there wasn't any romance at all and I feel like the ML doesnt even like him and it's disappointing... more>> that the ML isn't that interesting it's just his feeling feels so forced there's never really any really good scenes it's just bland the FL is too annoying just too annoying it all just feels forced and there's never really any feelings that went with it <<less
