PS. Good translations 👍. Also, although it's a CN novel, the story's setting is set in Japan. I actually thought it was a JP WN at first. The early part of the first volume is mostly lighthearted. It kinda reminds me of DDLC, Nagine somewhat resembles Monika ngl. If you think about it, this is just romcom with extra steps, it's also quite funny how MC's male and 'female' personality are conflicting each other, she's literally having some i-den-ti-ty crisis. I respect how the author actually made Nagine deal with "the monthly CURSE", you don't see that quite often at TS novels.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS AHHHH.

You almost never see gender-bent romance because, you know, if you know, but when it's done right, it's MUAH, and I like all the characters, and the dialogue is actually funny and nice to read.

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be how short some chapters are.

You don't see a lot of gender-bent novels where the protagonist is actually 'in love' to the opposite gender, and I think that's what makes this one stand out.

The best part of the story is definitely the dynamic between the MC and the male lead. Their interactions feel natural, and they're the most well-developed characters by far. The side characters exist, but they don't leave much of an impression—this story is all about the two leads.

What really surprised me, though, is that this is a Chinese novel. Something about the... more>> atmosphere feels more like a Japanese light novel. Maybe it's the writing style, or maybe it's the translation, but it has a different vibe from most Chinese novels I've read.

Overall, it's a sweet and fluffy story with just lot of actions and a bit of tragedy to keep things interesting. <<less

Ahh, the idea is very good, it's an interesting read about MC who reincarnated into crappy game with monsters as a protagonist. He lived his life a worker (monster killer) with minimal wage, died and then reincarnated into the sequel of the said game. He now a female MC of the game and wants to be the most important woman in the ML life and die so he will become strong and do all the work for MC.

The MC is damn funny. "Uwah, kill me!" Her words every time she... more>> understand she starts to act more girly, and every time she does awkward fan service stuff. Lolol.

I wonder how the story will end I love the writing, translation, plot and the characters! The MC is the true manipulator who shapes the story. <<less

I won't say much, cause I'm not good with words, but this novel is truly fantastic, the characters are not one-dimensional, and have their own personalities, aspirations, goals, and ambitions in the story, particularly more with Nagine the MC, and Sou the other MC of the both the Novel and the Game, as we watch him grow into more and more of a character, as Nagine manipulates and shape him from a naive young man into something of her desire, however, Sou doesn't stay that way for a... more>> long time, as he interacts and learn more about the world, he slowly understood what he wish to become, and of Nagine's hidden manipulation and lies, as even

Though I mainly talk about these two, the other characters are also amazing, but the story mainly revolves around these two. However, even though I say that, the other characters are also given time to shine, grow and develop.

Moreover, the world building is truly fantastic, it doesn't drown you with information, as we learn the world alongside Sou, as he learns more about its waters and intricacies, and with some internal monologue of Nagine from time to time.

For the plot, it is as the synopsis said, its about Nagine becoming the childhood friend that Sou will bitterly regret, though its not only that, there is also the mystery about
