The synopsis covers quite a bit of the setting, but it's made explicitly clear that while luck plays a role after the protagonist's regression, his acting skills are also responsible for the opportunities he gets. But at other times when he makes mistakes or is about to make mistakes, it's resolved through coincidences or misunderstandings (like dust in the eye causing it to tear up).

And even in the first few chapters, there's already character development not just for the MC adjusting to good or mostly even just ordinary luck, but... more>> even side characters that are different or viewed differently from before the regression.

Overall the characters have been entertaining, and while the depth of side characters is still limited (it's not entirely clear yet which are actually going to stick around), they don't feel flat either.

Between the misunderstandings, the contrast between his previous abysmal misfortune and his current luck, and the dialogues, there's plenty of comedy woven into the story without hindering the plot at all.

While many regression stories involve using future information for perfect decisions, this aspect only takes up a small portion, mostly in the form of using the finished film or drama as a reference for acting, without that acting becoming a pure imitation. The protagonist also isn't overly worried about butterfly effects and harming some works or careers as it is common in such novels.

Instead the perfect decisions mostly follow as coincidences from necessary or impulsive decisions.

Small example that isn't really a spoiler but hidden just in case:

Spoiler

He goes to a gym that he heard was cheap because he's poor, it turns out to be exceptional with merely bad marketing, and because the owner is a bit desperate he even gets a discount.

Due to the high release frequency I was originally going to wait for more chapters to build up, but I don't regret reading it now and I'll probably read new updates regularly rather than only binging a lot at once.

I cannot fathom why people would give this a one star rating. I would argue those people have no taste. <<less
