Short review: It is interesting, fun and refreshing. Although quiet a drag a some points.

First, I am not a superhero genre fan nor do I knew in depth about DC Universe or Arrow-verse which it is mainly based upon while it transverses to main DC plot line later. So, while reading it I had to google up various characters and study some plot lines along the way which was quiet fun in it's own way. Before I just knew things like Bruce Wane is Batman a millionaire in Gotham and... more>> now I know who Talia, Gordon Sr., Steve Trevor and Sinestro are ;)

I picked this up for one reason, in the tags it had Yuri, transmigration and DC superhero together!!🤣 And the author is Chinese. What a combination you must know. Although I chose it for pun, it turned out quiet worth while.

The MC/FL is Thea Quinn, who is the younger sister of Oliver Quinn aka Green Arrow in DC Universe (for people who live under a rock like me). He is a A-list superhero like Batman and Superman. Twist is a very very avid DC Chinese fan got transmigrated into Thea Quinn, I say this because the transmigrator now Thea, apparently has an in depth extensive knowledge about everything in DC Universe. And he now she plays it cool!

She also becomes a hero, Red Arrow like the real Thea Quinn, but talking about her personality she is almost anti-hero believing in capitalism, prioritizing herself, her family and profits she can earn whilst also killing those who piss her off especially criminals instead of being pure good will justice maniac and selfless. Again for those who don't know the morality of heroes is a very controversial topic in Superhero world as Heroes like batman and superman refuse to kill criminals and instead submit them to law enforcement, for the sake of being accountable to their choices and respecting law. While others do kill.

Thea eventually changes plot points of many characters especially those under Arrow-verse but that does not quiet affect the main DC plot line and somehow despite that she herself becomes a key character in the Main plot. The author uses many of the things left out or things not properly explored in Dc universe to drive Thea's running story so as not to affect the main plot line and it works.

The writing and translation is good. With other tr*sh Chinese novels in mind one might think how will the author handle such a genre without distorting their personalities to Chinese like, but as far as I've read the author handled the American-ness of the all characters and direct world structure very well; although not in depth but well represented. As the story progresses further their personalities do deviate from OG character but that is due the MC's influence. Like Batman!! IDK in depth about OG batman but how he changes later is fun.

Down side. Personally it becomes quite a drag at some points like during fight scenes especially when there are many characters fighting together or against each other. But a Superhero's real work is to fight.🤣 So I can't say much, especially with a lot of people. Again, there is a feel of abruptness to it. Suddenly new characters popping up or unlocking new powers or just sudden fights and quirky side, but i.e. Also again just superhero genre things.

If you are not a serious DC fan, I think most will enjoy it although one can speculate that it was written for f-audiences and it is a fan-fiction in the end so bear that in mind. <<less
