Alright I guess, the relationship-building doesn't feel fluffy enough and the cultivation/battles aren't done well at all, basically summarised or skipped entirely. IMHO the author would have done well with reducing the number of cultivation realms and tossing out the etc stuff focusing on the relationship-building instead. Right now, it's looking like FL fell in love with MC's cooking and that's about it, no other really cute moments of note to me.

Characters of note

1. Yue Ge -Kinda dumb at times, good at cooking, her fights are all skipped entirely by the author.
2. Zhu Yu - FL, typical cold female but actually warm inside, interactions with MC don't feel genuine enough feels like she fell in love with MC's cooking more so than MC.

All other females in the series are summarised or skipped... more>> entirely. I thought there would be more interactions for jealousy and then realizing who they loved but nope, pretty much MC met them then 1-5 chapters after they become irrelevant.

The story is all over the place. The chapters don't focus on the main couple enough. Instead the author writes a whole bunch of little tidbits about different things that may have been a part of a plot, but then does not make it into a whole. So what I've read mostly tells me nothing of worth.

this is yuri novel that set on cultivator world. A satire with good comedy.

no s*upid "he only eat breakfast sent directly from oversea and use golden utensils that cost million dollers." without proper good reasoning or comedy followed.

I enjoyed the story plenty. There's somewhat a plot in the story (although some of it went over my head - not sure if the author was not doing a great job conveying it or it didn't translate to English). The plot isn't heavy or dark, which is much appreciated considering the amount of yandere content I had to sit through in cnovels lately.

The focus isn't solely on the main couple and while that's usually fine for me, I wish we have more insights in Zhu Yu. Her character isn't... more>> the usual cold, unfeeling, quiet type. She can be a blabber, especially to Yue Ge and is always hungry (gap moe). I suppose the author is trying to preserve her cold image somewhat, in contrast to Yue Ge's warmth.

I almost wished the author just went ahead and followed the OG harem story tbh since it'd be interesting to see a yuri harem/polyamory. Side note but I'm reading a cultivation manga right now and the MC isn't a good person and still has amazing women in his harem like... let amazing girls date each other instead, darn.

Another thing about the story: it actually attempts to explain the reason behind the transmigration etc. Sure there are some plot holes and isn't perfect, but I appreciate that because I feel like some novels just skip that since it's hard to bring something new in the transmigration genre, so they just don't bother. <<less
