Ji Huan woke up and discovered she had transmigrated into an ancient story about a foolishly filial alpha, becoming a foolishly filial daughter in a farming family. The original body was manipulated by her entire family; she not only did the hardest and most exhausting work but also had no complaints whatsoever.

Her parents used all the money from selling grain on her eldest brother and third brother, claiming the eldest was the heir and the third needed funds for scholarly exams. As for the money Ji Huan deserved, her mother claimed she saved it for her but secretly gave it all to the eldest and youngest sons.

The wife Ji Huan married, Jiang Yubai, was labeled a jinx by her mother, who not only forbade Ji Huan from consummating the marriage but also constantly bullied Jiang Yubai, assigning her the most tiring and dirtiest tasks. Because of her foolishly filial nature, the original body never spoke a word in Jiang Yubai’s defense.

In the book’s ending, the original body labored tirelessly for her family her entire life, dying of illness before reaching forty, while Jiang Yubai died even earlier. Before her death, Ji Huan only received a fleeting remark from her parents: “You were filial.”

Ji Huan read the book’s plot and scoffed loudly—what feudal nonsense! She wanted to see who dared to morally blackmail her!

So, when her mother told Ji Huan to work in the fields, Ji Huan lay on the ridge and slept soundly. When her mother ordered Jiang Yubai to cook for the family, Ji Huan entered the kitchen and “accidentally” broke all the bowls.

When her mother instructed Ji Huan to fetch some water, Ji Huan added senna leaves to it, causing the whole family uncontrollable diarrhea. When her mother withheld Ji Huan’s rightful money, Ji Huan borrowed from villagers and told them to demand repayment from her parents.

In the end, her parents couldn’t live with Ji Huan anymore and proposed splitting the family. Ji Huan happily agreed, took her share of land and money, and left with Jiang Yubai to live a simple life together. Fortunately, Ji Huan was a Jianjie pottery artisan in her previous life. She quickly resumed her craft and thrived in the town. When her manipulative relatives tried to control her again, Ji Huan simply asked, “Who are you?”

Note: Qianyuan = alpha, Kunze = omega, Zhongyong = beta, no additional elements.

Indeed another feel good novel.

  • Golden retriever like Mc
  • Soft and kind FL
  • MC gains power and influence to have a better life. Their skill in pottery was only relevant ONE TIME
  • System exists but was mostly just there for giving instructions and left immediately—useless
  • MC and FL have a child
  • MC and FL take a bit of time to leave the shtty family, but they do around chapter 50.
Overall it's fine. Genuinely just read when your bored. Nothing much unique here.
