Mo Yu Xin transmigrated into the role of a scummy Alpha in a university campus novel.

The original character came from a poor family but maintained the image of a diligent, impoverished scholar during college, attracting the admiration of many Omegas—all of whom she stringed along. She eventually targeted the female lead, Su Yu Bing, the wealthiest Omega in her “pond,” coaxing Su Yu Bing into having a child with her.

However, Su Yu Bing’s parents disapproved of their relationship. Su Yu Bing cut ties with her family for the original character, only for the latter—now deprived of her gold-digging prospects—to coldly abandon Su Yu Bing, demand she abort the child, and return to her harem of other Omegas.

Later, Su Yu Bing raised their daughter alone and met the male lead, Xu Ze Feng. Together, they exposed the original character’s hypocrisy, ruining her reputation and her climb to power through manipulation.

Mo Yu Xin had no intention of following this scummy path.

She started building her own career, earning her first pot of gold. When their baby fell ill, she tirelessly cared for her. When Su Yu Bing was cornered by thugs in a bar, Mo Yu Xin stepped in to protect her…

By the time Su Yu Bing broke free from the novel’s tragic plot and their baby turned one, Mo Yu Xin finally relaxed. She had altered the story’s painful trajectory, allowing Su Yu Bing to reunite with her destined male lead. Yet, why did her own heart ache with bitterness?

***

Su Yu Bing learned from a friend that Mo Yu Xin planned to leave Xining City. Panicked, she rushed home to find Mo Yu Xin’s packed luggage.

Mo Yu Xin explained guiltily, “I’m leaving to earn more for the baby’s needs.”

Tears welled in Su Yu Bing’s eyes, her voice trembling. “Mo Yu Xin… are you abandoning us again?”

There's not much story about yuri villainess transmigration that occurs after the damage had been done to the FL so I might be biased. However I am quite enjoying this story. This story about our protag trying to clean up the mess caused by the scummy original owner. So yeah, the protag come back home with milk. I hope the journey to coaxing wife is th**ny and full of delicious angst

This is written by the same author as 'Transmigrated as a Fake Daughter in a Cultivation Novel' and has a similar structure. There are obviously differences in the themes but a lot of the problems of that novel carry over to this novel, as well as a lot of what I liked from that novel.

The majority of this story is actually just fluff, pure cotton candy, interspersed with a few moments of face slapping. The moments of tension and drama between MYX and SYB are often resolved by MYX acting... more>> kind toward SYB, quickly being deescalated. After spending time cementing MYX's character as completely different than the previous 'body's', the story quickly moves into flirtiness and romance. Though...

Spoiler

They don't actually get together officially until about halfway through the main story. The main story ends around chapter 200

[collapse]

The baby plays a HUGE role in the story. Little Moon is used to make things really adorable and to encourage SYB to accept MYX back into her life. A lot of stories that use a child to either drive a wedge between the couple or help bring them together let the child basically disappear from the story and only come in when it's necessary to repair or break things. Not here. Little Moon (you learn her real name maybe once in the story so I can't remember it) is adorable and sweet. The interactions with Little Moon are sometimes sweeter than the interactions between our two leads and I think it's cute how you get to see her grow older slowly. (The story takes place over about a year's time, so don't expect her to really grow up)

As for the Omegaverse themes... they don't really matter? You could take them out and it would be exactly the same story except for the ability to get pregnant. Even then there's an extra where they meet in MYX's original universe and same s*x pregnancy is possible through science, so yeah. They don't have much of an impact beyond a few spicy scenes, references to pheromones and scents, and the constant uses of the words "Alpha" and "Omega". I, personally, am completely happy with this because you don't get a lot of the nastier themes of the Omegaverse shoved down your throat. No dubious consent or r@pe, not much related to the stereotypical "Alpha" archetypes that basically turn a woman into a stereotypical "Male Lead", or any terrible parallels with eug3nics such as constant references to the "class" of the omega or alpha and how much better that class is than everyone else.

A few complaints... the author gets buried in the sugar and the face slapping to the point that characters (and character traits) will disappear. SYB's best friend, Fu Zhitao, is gone by the second half of the novel.

Spoiler

She's not even at their wedding. SYB's best friend doesn't even make an appearance at her wedding.

[collapse]

The side couple has some moments that are cute, but the Alpha's scent changes at one point to something completely different, and they fade in and out of existence within the story.

Finally there's the book aspect... Just like the system in "Fake Daughter" it doesn't matter much except for providing an occasionally convenient explanation for MYX to rescue SYB... three times. Just three times she uses the book. After that it's not mentioned until the original ML is reintroduced. And the OG ML is a douche-canoe unlike the ML in "Fake Daughter". You have to have an antagonist, but he's cartoonishly evil and basically toothless. As is SYB's dad, but...

Spoiler

Near the end of the story SYB's dad has a change of heart but the damage has already been done. I appreciate that SYB didn't just forgive her dad for all the shitty things he did because he suddenly apologized. This, I felt, was a more realistic approach to family relationships.

[collapse]

Overall I really liked the story and enjoyed the fluff and sugary cotton candy. Don't expect a crematorium story about our MC chasing the FL to make up for her past mistakes. SYB is kind of a pushover and is a little quick to fall into MYX's hands. I enjoy this kind of story and dislike the crematorium wife chasing stories so it works for me. It might not work for you though. <<less

The story is great, Mo Yuxin is green flag all the way and I love that the child is not forgotten even as the parents' story was explored more, although I do wish for some more depths for some of the side characters - namely Mo Yuxin's mother.

It has some angsty moments, but not too bad all in all. The fluff is really, really heavy, to the point that I feel it's detrimental sometimes because we keep seeing private, sweet moments (not explicit) between Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing when... more>> I just want to story to move forward sometimes. It takes away from my story immersion sometimes because it feels like they keep going back at it over and over again. Very realistic for two young adults who are madly in love with each other though, good for them. <<less

It's pretty cool so far and it's pretty well written. It's basically just fluff and a bit of angst. I sort of wish the omegaverse part of this would play a bigger role, because it's basically a normal campus romance right now. The translations are also good, with good grammar and accurate pronouns.

This web novel is an omega-verse yuri, where the MC transmigrates into an Alpha who is the ex of the OG FL and the mother of the OG FL's child.

We're 64 chapters in, and the MC still hasn't met her child 😭. It's not like they haven't had any contact—she's had a video call with her and even carved a jade pig (I think it was a pig?) for the baby. But they still haven't met in person. I was so excited for their first meeting, and when I thought... more>> it was finally going to happen, I just wanted the MC to hurry up and go see the baby. Instead, she ended up just handing the carved pig to the FL 😭😭😭.

Moving on, 64 chapters in, they're still not in a relationship, even though they both clearly like each other (just not consciously yet). For example, the FL gets jealous when she thinks the MC is with someone else. Meanwhile, when the MC holds hands with the FL, she thinks she likes it, but then dismisses it, thinking she never knew holding hands with a friend could feel so enjoyable. GIRL, THAT'S NOT THE REASON! She's not actually that clueless; it's just that she's never dated anyone, and from what I gathered

While the main focus of the story is romance, there's also a subplot about the MC carving jade to sell for money and making connections in the industry. It's a nice addition to the story, but the romance is definitely the heart of it. I also enjoy the friendship dynamic between the MC and her roommates. But side note: I was pretty annoyed when I realized that one of the MC's roommates (whose name I can't remember) is probably going to end up becoming the lover of the MC's sister. Please, nooo!

Overall, most of the characters are well-developed, except for two villains who are narrow-minded and don't think about the consequences of their actions. Their actions seem impulsive and self-centred, making them feel somewhat unrealistic in how they fail to consider the bigger picture (although that's a typical villain type).

4/5—I highly recommend this if you're into this genre! <<less

I genuinely enjoyed this story although I did read it with auto translate so it was less coherent, hence the reason I'm re-reading it again and am thankful the author is taking the time to translate the story.

I won't give any details away but I really like the MC's personality and how she doesn't shirk off any responsibility despite the fact it was the original s*umbag females body she took over. The sincere and genuine way she acts towards the FL is very heartening.

At first I was skeptical of the premise as it sounds like something I would dislike. The og owner was real s*umbag and tr*shy person, its so maddening. The plot isnt as bad as I thought and the characters are endearing. Satisfying fluff promised~~

Flufff, omegaverse, childrearing, what more can you ask for?

This is a very solid novel, with so many sweet moments. Seriously, I re-read it whenever I need a good fix of gentle domestic baihe fluff.

The MC is a very gentle and earnest person, she immediately decides to make it up to the FL, taking on the original scum's sins wholeheartedly. And what's really nice is that, this decision doesn't come from any system or outside force forcing her to be nice to the FL or suffer (like other s*umbag alpha novels... more>> lol), but from a genuine desire to right her predecessor's wrongs and give the FL and their baby a better life. AND IT'S SO GOOD!!

The original s*umbag was such a piece of crap that I feel so damn bad for the FL, like that s*um put her through hell and back. But, the FL is always polite to the MC even if she hates her guts because that's the kind of person she is. I think out of everything, it's the gradual feelings the FL develops for the MC that made me fall in love with this novel. During the first half, the FL was polite, but she was understandably closed off and distant from the MC, I mean wouldn't you be too if the person who you abandoned your family and identity for, the person you allowed to imp**gnate you for, suddenly upped and left after you were disowned by your parents, AND THEN had the nerve to come back to make nice with you?

But, I think it's amazing how you can tell the FL is very extreme when it comes to love. If she loves you, she will go to hell for you and love it, if she hates you, she will never give you the time of day. And you can see that most clearly in three things: her abandoning her identity as a rich girl and getting pregnant with the original scum's baby, her shutting down the MC because she thinks she's the original scum, and her falling in love with the MC head first in the mid to latter parts. It's actually insane how great her characterization is. This woman loves HARD and luckily for her, the MC is equally as enamored with her.

God, I can gush about this novel all day every day, but I'll stop now. In short, it's amazing, please please please (Sabrina?) read this. You will absolutely not regret it! <<less

Aiya this two, just kiss already and marry each other. 87th chapter in, I love them. Little moon is so cute!

The MC (Mo Yuxin) and FL's (Su Yubing) dynamics is so cute as if they're made just for each other. If you're looking for a light and fluff story this might be it. The original MC is a certified s*umbag, neglecting FL and Little Moon making their living on edge as the FL have to work part-time jobs!

Fortunately, our reincarnated MC is caring, gentle, and a good cook. Filling the... more>> original MC's shortcomings, taking meticulous care of FL and Little Moon as well as her family—Mother and little Sister.

On the other hand, FL is kind and adore Little Moon so much. After being taken care of by MC so many times, she thinks that living with MC is not bad. Their interactions are amusing and full of fluff. Based on FL's reactions and treatment of MC, it seems she has forgiven her, although she hasn't explicitly said so. It feels abrupt, but I think that the absence of the original MC and their replacement with our reincarnated MC offsets it.

Thank you Author, and also thank you Translator!

Edit: Oh no I rated this wrong, it's supposed to be 5 star! <<less

Solid 4 stars. The main story was good, but the minor details and fluff made for too much filler. We don't need 2-4 paragraph descriptions for cooking routine meals 🙄 The amount of writing allocated to cooking alone could have been used to add an extra chapter or two to round out the extras. The final extra had pacing issues (too slow at the start, rushed at the end), and ended a little abruptly imo.
