Gu Bai always believed that the s*upidest thing he had ever done was listening to his bestie’s words of becoming a stallion genre novel writer. Directly following was the most frustrating thing that he had ever done, changing the previously decided upon moral, smart, healthy youngster into a big boss…

In the end, he discovered that the consequences of changing the original plot were more serious than he expected.

After meeting the pe*vert he wrote himself:

In short, this is a story about a dumb author who wrote a cannibalistic story which started as a stallion story, who in the end was unable to escape the whirlpool of destiny (not really).

The MC is actually a very emotional person, but he had to change a lot to adapt to his new life and now his face is expressionless 24/7 both because it makes it easier to deal with his surroundings and because he is weighed down by the world around him.

The MC was an author who transmigrated into a character from his own first story. Unfortunately, due to this character's unwitting actions, he was one of the first to be devoured on the Protagonist's rise. To avoid the same fate, the MC decides to use his knowledge of future events to fix his current body of its defects and to completely avoid both the Protagonist (who is the ML) and anyone remotely related to him so that he doesn't incur the Protagonist's wrath. The MC's problem and biggest mistake, however, is that as a writer he'd never actually seen the characters he'd created, and in trying to minutely change the plot to keep himself alive, was completely unaware that the adorable little bun he'd saved in his youth was actually the child version of his blackened Protagonist. Those days they'd spent together became the treasure of the ignorant MC and also served to successfully capture the attention of that little ML, who was later betrayed, humiliated, and lied to many times after their separation, who controlled all that opposed him and slaughtered those that attempted to ruin him. When he finally recalled his memories of their time together, the ML then wanted to know if that warmth, too, had been a lie. If it had, then all he had to do was deal with the MC the same way as he did with everyone else. But... if he hadn't been lied to back then... then how far could he go to test the extent to which the MC valued him?

As of Chapter 20:

The MC's ignorance is stressing me out. One wrong move and the ML's temper is triggered, but he hides it well since he's black bellied, and then the MC diffuses the situation without even knowing there was one. He's walking on eggshells but he doesn't know that either.

At this rate, there's no hope for this idiot MC. If he doesn't get literally eaten, all that awaits him is to be "devoured". I swear, if the MC didn't dote on the ML so much, he would've faced the first of those two options ages ago.

As of chapter 117:

I was too curious about what happened so I stuck the novel through a translation site and hoped for the best.

At this point, the ML's possessiveness has reached new heights and he's a lot clingier than before. This guy drinks vinegar by the barrel but he trusts the MC completely. Of course, even though he knows Gu Bai is only looking at him, he's still sour when the MC's gaze so much as strays in the direction of a woman or he pays even a little attention to another man. I liked that the MC tried to be as open as possible and straight out told the ML that, because he wouldn't deceive him, there were things he couldn't say. I also liked that the ML understood that and decided to wait for Gu Bai even though he was dying to know.

The MC is still expressionless but screaming inside. It's great. But what's even more funny is that

the world Gu Bai wrote was a 100% straight one, so these people haven't even heard of two men being together before seeing the main couple, and gay s*x hasn't ever been done before. The gong has no knowledge of anything and there's nothing he can read to help him either. Preparing his *ss? What's that? Lube??? Never heard of it. This poor MC. If his martial arts wasn't up to par, his body would have given out a long time ago (then again, if he'd been weaker, maybe he would have been able to pass out instead of having to go at it for 3-ish days the first time before they were finally done).

I probably shouldn't have but I laughed at the snake s*x. Like, the MC really tried to calm the ML down and that giant python just wrapped himself tighter around Gu Bai's body and shoved it in there when he thought he'd successfully pacified that h**ny gong. And considering the crazed state the ML was in and how they didn't know how long they were underground for...

There are not enough candles in the world that we could light for the MC.

As of chapter 152:

I finished it and was thoroughly satisfied. While not the best way to go about it, there was a chapter at the end that the author threw together to wrap up most of the things they'd left hanging.

The ML's crazy possessiveness was fun for me to read about and the comedy in this novel is top notch, though I might be a little biased since it conformed so well to my tastes. A line from when the ML figured out the MC's true identity that will forever make me laugh is, "Gu Bai very calmly... lit himself a row of candles." MC knows what's up.

I thought the ML would be upset with the MC when he found out about Gu Bai being the author/God, and the readers were led to believe that too, but then it switches to the ML's perspective and we find out that this dude was ecstatic and completely turned-on once he realised that Gu Bai is his creator/God. He pushed down the MC's original weak body, f*cked it until it was broken, transferred Gu Bai's soul back into the body of Zi Ju Shu Bai, and then f*cked that body too until it couldn't move (which took well over a week because Gu Bai was at Wu Zu level). Then you find out that while he was doing all this, he'd gotten his hands on an expensive camera and now has thousands of pictures of Gu Bai's two bodies in a variety of fun positions and ruined states... And then the ML ate Gu Bai's original body. In front of him. Because he "wanted to be with Gege forever". I loved it. The reveal was 10/10.

Essentially, the story focuses on the MC and ML going through the novel scenarios but not how Gu Bai thought it'd be. Lol.

But my main point of this review is to give a heads up about the MC for those who decide to read this despite the tags.

He's an idiot. Yes, his inner monologue is hilarious but hes a frigging idiot.

I love stories like this, yknow, a possessive seme with a cold uke (w/o r*pe but beggars can't be choosers with a yandere ML).

But Gu bai doesn't TALK. I don't know how many times I wanted to slap him because he just. would. not. TALK!!!

His ass hurts because of no lube? Stays silent!

ML is obviously going crazy? Stays silent!

If he just talked then all his problems would be solved! His brain hole is so massive that I just watch on with dead fish eyes.

Yeah, the ML is psycho but so would I when someone I like is akin to a brick wall!

Yeah, the MC is scared one wrong word from him will make the ML crazy but that wouldn't happen if he just explained himself.

It also sucks because the MC knows what the ML has been through. Heck he wrote about it, has seen the ML's wounds when he was a child, yet. he. f*cking. doesnt. speak! He doesn't give any consolation and the ML is always guessing what the other is thinking. And you know how that goes *eyeroll*

All I'm saying is that I'd enjoy the story more if Gu Bai just tried to communicate. There are always other ways to say something without blurting out the whole truth that this is a novel world.

So if some fellow readers can't stand these misunderstandings that take a large portion of the book, feel free to read something else.

This was a pretty great story, funny and it stayed interesting. Just before you read, pay attention to the tags. The male lead is a freaking psycho/yandere/very unstable, like the main character throughout the story calls him metamorphosis/psycho. The male lead also has an animal form so that's where the bestialty part comes in. If you can get past the heavy flavors of this fic, you will be able to enjoy this story. I love the main character, he is actually pretty unique, and everything stays hilarious in his narrative.... more>> There is also a sequel for anyone interested, "It must be that the way I broke the void is wrong." 一定是我破碎虚空的方式不对

Hha funny.

Your usual transmigration bl novel. Although ML is yandere and possessive, he loves MC so much. At first, I thought it'd be usual depressing and dramatic "MC is weak and brainless (naive) ". Then it was "NO".

I thought their relationship'd be destructible and toxic, also kinda r*pey atmosphere. But "NO".

Really funny, one of my favorites of the "yandere male lead falls for transmigrated man" genre! You can't take this novel seriously... It's mainly a comedy / parody. The male lead is one of the craziest yandere mofos to exist. His thought process is pretty hilarious. The main character, Gu Bai, is clueless to all the crazy eyes and dark expressions the ML makes, and goes through innocently as he tries to avoid death flags. Although Gu Bai is in denial through most of the novel, I think there were plenty of signs he liked Xiao Shan. He blushes (internally because he has facial paralysis) and thinks how handsome or wonderful Xiao Shan is ALL THE TIME. Then constantly has to slap himself and remind himself that that thought process is gay. He gets unhappy when Xiao Shan looks like he might be hitting it off with girls (sure, it's just because he's your "bro", uh huh). His life goal was to travel the world and be with Xiao Shan forever. Lessons on why not to write a yandere stallion novel in case the cray cray ML decides to screw you over. Luckily, this yandere ML is only double cray and not triple cray. Even though his thoughts run a million miles a minute, for the most part, he doesn't take action and is extremely devoted. Although... it's probably because MC unknowingly defuses him at the last second. Well, never mind that.

Like the summary suggests, MC is a writer who birthed and later transmigrates into the world of The World of Demon Lord Wu Zun, his first and most memorable (in his mind) novel. In order to survive, he quickly adapts and elects to become kuudere. However, his inner thoughts are quite lively and pretty hilarious, and ML somehow generates the... more>> ability to read MC's thoughts through his eyes. Most of them at least.

The plot, hmm... As MC's only goal is to survive, he doesn't have any lofty ambitions of saving the world or anything like that. What do you know, he actually does by accidentally hooking ML. Romance is weak and a slow burn on MC's behalf, despite the fact that they do it a lot.

Don't take this novel too seriously because it's comedy. If you're looking for anything more serious or that has moral values, this is not your novel. <<less

I can take the yandere, the cannibalism, the cruelty. But why is the s*x so bad? Girl how is ML not knowing the basics? How does MC go through the pain of all that in silence but speaks up when ML wants to eat him out? One of them hurts??? Personally, I really like this. Some people might be turned off by how evil the ML can be, eating his enemies and just being really yandere about the MC. I like it because it's the POV of the MC who is oblivious to the fact that at the start of the story, the ML is considering killing him or hurting him, and there are so many moments where he narrowly escapes saying something that'll piss the ML off and get him killed. It really has me on the edge of... more>> my seat, and the writer handles it really well.

Congrats tot he translation team, too! They did a marvellous job. I just wish the site didn't have a huge slash picture as a banner, because it makes it difficult for me to read this story while in public. <<less

I really like this. The MC is completely devoted to looking cool and the ML just dotes on him. He's a complete yandere and psychopath and I love it. The MC is terrified of the protagonist of the story but he loves his little brother. I can't wait until he finds out the truth!

I came looking for BL smut; there's a decent amount of character and plot development required first for a good story, so be warned you have to wait the first 50 chapters. Normally I don't like r@pe types, but I came into this story knowing the protagonist is supposed to be a psychopath and the MC's narration lays down the warnings about this early on. Also

due to the MC keeping up his character's image, there's a lack of communication leading to the protagonist's insecurity. And again, he's a crazy person who is also impatient. Honestly, I think the MC would have been seduced by that point if they both properly communicated.

I give this a 3-4 star rating mostly because of the stereotypical ?grandstanding? There are many sections I skim through because it has too much of that 'whole crowds of people unrealistically gathering around the MCs for drama', how beautiful and white the MC looks to them and multiple reminders that our MC maintains an expressionless face for his image... you said it a few times already... we get it.. he crafted a "super cool and noble" character for himself; move on. HOWEVER, the reminders allow for hilarious internal monologs and screams from the soul for the MC. Love his internal dilemmas. <<less

A awesome novel, a absolutely lovable MC and a true yandere ML

Although I would have given higher ratings if the chapters were released more frequently and consistently

I am waiting for them to release a new chapter every day without fail cause this book is just too good

But I am quite frustrated waiting months on end for a single chapters worth of update. Honestly, I feel like I could cough up blood waiting due to the waiting time

Wuuu, I finally found this novel again and re-read it *cough* The plot may be unnerving and run away after being scared by the ML but don't worry, the author won't let ML hurt our baby protagonist (though it had me hold my breath lol, cause this ML is quite unstably psychotic) don't be shy and read it~ If it's yandere ML that you want then let me lead you to the entrance.

Why does this have so many high ratings reviews?

For me, it was too forced. Primarily because the author just make up things on the go and thus creating inconsistencies.

One problem of this book was from the start, it was info dumping. There was so much information given, with little to no actions, that just after a chapter you'll forget those details. By chapter ten, there's only one action scene happening, the rest was either the narrator detailing the background of the book or he's narrating things that happened without showing... more>> us how it happened.

Then when the story finally moves, it quickly dawned on me that I don't like the MC's characterization, there's so much incongruence to the way he thinks and towards how he react. That's why it feels forced as it's looking like OOC from his innate character.

The writing was off, if we have to be technical, the narrator's voice was a mess, one second it was in the MCs perception, the next it was the other character he was talking, and then the author would intercede with his monologue and omnipotent voice. It was confusing. It also did not have clear POV one second it was third the next it was first.

And for the lot of chapter that had been spent, it was still not exciting or interesting, the plot crawls even if it was moving.

It also does not make sense sometimes. The MC's decision was questionable, even if he defended it with other reasons, but it was clear that the author would need to make the MC dumb from time to time so that the plot would move. It felt unnatural.

The MC's character was also fickle and vain sometimes, which was already off putting. Worse, he did some kind things in the story, just so that the author could paint him as kind and all but it just made him more fake. He's not that internally and it shows and I feel it.

Anyway, maybe I was just in a picky mood today and just being unnecessarily critical but it is what it is, this story failed to satisfy me as a reader. <<less

Idk how I feel about the plots progression. You have the extremely DENSE MC. The Yandere ML who's mentally screwed up. And that's literally all there is to it. The story is an ok read but sometimes I found my self questioning the author... Where the hell are things even going? Sometimes the story even dragged out and I found myself skimming through.

Hopefully, with what is going on in these recent chapters... things will get interesting. Oh but don't let this review stop you from checking it out. Based on... more>> the previous positive reviews this read can be enjoyable for alot of people, I'm just picky with certain things. As of Chap 50 and I find it really comedic! Love the world and the author/MC's inner thoughts as he present a icy cold face to everyone else. Love it and can't wait for the translations to be completed! Then I can re-read again hehe

MC is a 'cold on the outside hot on the inside' kind of person. He's really similar to SQQ from Self-saving System. Except he actually has facial paralysis. The number of times he has dodged invisible bullets is just uncountable.

This was such a fun and funny novel. Yes, the MC is dense when it comes to the ML, but not with others or in various situations. I really like the MC's internal thoughts. He's a very funny character. The one side character had such bad luck with women...lights a candle for him. The side character's issues with his love life had me cracking up. No major tension in this novel, but it never feels boring, so you can just kick back and enjoy. Many interesting female characters that pop... more>> up also. I've read several transmigration novels and this one is my favorite. Highly recommend. Will have to MTL to complete, but not terrible to do so. I really wish a translator would pick this up and complete. I plan to read it again at a later date. <<less
