Changxia was an outcast in the tribe—

She didn’t adorn herself, socialize, or play; she only delighted in hoarding various wild vegetables. She wouldn’t eat meat, claiming it was unpalatable. The entire tribe worried she wouldn’t grow up and would die.

After coming of age, she directly picked up a sickly man and married him.

Later,

Changxia used her hoarded vegetables to cultivate fields, feeding the entire tribe; she built houses and roads, freeing her people from the cold and hardship; and further conquered the entire prehistoric continent with her culinary skills.

Finally, the tribe learned that the sickly man beside Changxia was once the tribe’s most powerful totem warrior. Only then did the tribe understand that Changxia was the most formidable one.
