The little koi ended up in a remote mountain village, where he was picked up by the village’s most famous sickly person.
The sickly man, named Qin Zhao, came to the village three years ago with no memory of his past, his identity shrouded in mystery. So ill that he could barely move, he was ostracized by the villagers.
Looking at the empty mud house where Qin Zhao lived, Jing Li decided to help him.
The little koi wagged its tail at Qin Zhao: “I heard I can help people fulfill their wishes!”
Qin Zhao: “Anything?”
Little koi: “Yes, yes, yes!”
Qin Zhao smiled faintly: “I want a husband.”
From that day on, the sickly man in the village suddenly recovered and was incredibly lucky.
Whenever he ventured into the mountains, he found rare herbs; a casual act of saving someone turned out to be the son of a wealthy merchant from the city; even when digging in the ground, he unearthed a silver ingot…
He built a house, got married, and established a private school. Life got better and better. The villagers, driven by curiosity, started climbing the walls, trying to steal his luck secret.
They only saw the sickly man squatting by the pool, gently coaxing the bright red koi blowing bubbles at the bottom:
“Come out and eat, or I won’t let you have baby fish.”
Soft and cute koi (shou) x sickly and beautiful man (gong)
This is a cozy and sweet farming story with pets, farming, fish-raising, and romance. The protagonist has powerful abilities, and there is a possibility of children.
