such a cute and heartwarming story. Enjoyed it greatly.

FL is such a foodie and a crack head, as a 200 years old snake how could she be so naïve and child like. But I loved her in that way. Very warm story and ML was good to her. Also the little bun, aww he is such a cutie. He is little angel. And I'm so happy that

This is a funny and fluffy story I have to give it that, I like this type of cute story with child care but the logic here is totally turned off, many things may miss up your brain if you are looking for a story with logical settings and natural plot development

The MC was a snake in the zoo and have a smartphone used to watch drama and surf the net.

Without any acting experience she beats everyone even the 1st line actors from the first time she starts

The way the MC used to solve the incident with the film emperor is d*mp but people believed it

The story feels off in some other places but I just turn a blind and continue to read (for now).

The little bun is cute but I somehow feel sorry for the ML, the ungrateful little bun abandons him for his mother without looking back after all he did for him in the past 5 years

Even with the change in settings and dialogues the story is basically parts of ones I read before but it is still funny to read.

Really fun and good read! Contemporary romance!

Who knew that I could easily accept that the FL was a snake in her previous life hahaha

Author is so funny and witty! I love the chemistry between the FL and ML and with their little baby bun, too! Such a tooth-achingly-sweet family 🥰🥰

I really like the plot where the FL's road to being a top actress is detailed in this story. I love cultivation stories but instead of power it's her acting skills. Her inner monolgues and the inspiration where she gets her... more>> acting is just HILARIOUS! BELIVE ME!!!

This is a good read. I like the character developments of the leads. Most of the scene were funny and heartwarming especially with little bun. I like that the leads didn't worry too much to the evil characters and focused in their growth and small family instead of revenge. Funny that the villains ruined themselves in their own. (LMAO)

At first, I kinda uncomfortable on her shamelessness... but at the same time, this attitude was the only method she can do to escape death bc she was transmigrated in a really worst time when the original host already chose wrong choices, pursued another man who didn't love her, believed in wrong people and ignored her family... that the husband already wanted divorced.

I liked that the MC passed many setbacks using her experiences as snake spirit who lived for more than a century. She is truly funny tho especially using foods and zookeeper as her huge inspirations for acting.

He is initially cold... but no one can blame him bc original host ignored her responsibility as wife and mother for almost five years. But despite their marital problems, it worth praising that the ML remained loyal and good father to his kid. I like that he showed forgiveness plus trust and love when his saw that wife began to change. He always supported her in every steps of her career. I also love that he doted and take care of her.

Most of all, the little bun is a lovable character. He is smart and cute. He never doubted the MC despite years of his mother's negligence to him. He treated the MC with love and dote/take care of her despite his young age.

There were too many other characters that most were just passing. Well, it was expected bc the leads were working in Entertainment Industry but I can't still help but only be connected to leads and Chen Hao. But others only seemed to be extras.

Also, most of the "supposed" villains characters got chances to change. I like that some like Chen Hao and even Gu Yu got their own realizations. But I just can't accept that the original FL who did evil things and manipulated easily poofed after the revelations of her fakeness.

I'm angry with original host ignoring her kid but despite her wrong choices, I still sympathized her bc she's initially a good person but too dumb to be manipulated by her family. I hope she got a 2nd chance in next life with Chen Hao.

This was a very refreshing read. While the premise is a bit odd--a snake spirit transmigrating into a novel they read, on a phone, while living in a zoo--it... actually works pretty well? It's not a one-off mention, it's usually brought up in humorous ways while not overshadowing the story with its oddity in comparison.

The plot itself, besides the whole snake spirit thing, isn't super unique--lady transmigrates into a character who is in a (typically rocky) relationship with a really rich, handsome CEO man, and slowly steals his heart. Some... more>> of the plotlines are pretty predictable and/or cliche for this set-up, however the interactions between Yu Yaoyao, Shen Yichong (the husband), and their cute little bun child are honestly super cute. I feel like some parts of the relationships were a bit rushed in the beginning, but as the story progresses their relationships with each other grow accordingly.

Yu Yaoyao is a fun main character/leading lady. She's pretty straightforward: narcissistic, sneaky like a snake, confident, and in some cases a bit odd socially because she lived as a snake for over a century and a lot of her basis for human relationships are based on dramas and novels. Shen Yichong is kind of a tsundere, at first understandably cold, but you definitely see a softer side to him with his son and eventually Yu Yaoyao. Shen Rui, the kid, is honestly just a really cute mama's boy.

Overall, a fun light read with good humour. While it is in some places a predictable story, even when it feels like filler the characters really make it shine--and I'm okay with that. I hope there's a bit more development of the characters and the overall plot a bit more, but as of now it's enjoyable. <<less

It's great. Funny. I love the character of the husband. For the FL, she's great! She's clever, tough, fierce but sweet and knows how to fight back well — not your typical strong-willed girl. I'm not a fan of CN novels, so I didn't expect that I would like this, but yeah, I did like it. I find this one really good and funny.

The right amount of drama to keep things going, the right amount of face slapping to feel vindicated, the right amount of comedy to offset the drama, and the gaps filled in by fluffiness and romance to enjoy the entire story.

Well it was satisfying but not thrilling enough that I'd read every chapter. But overall its good okay, I'd recommend this to people that likes slice of life and fluffy romance that has no sense somtimes

I love this!

I don't know how many times I re-read this but never got tired.

MC really has a really special personality, she basically is the soul of this book. Very few novel has such a strong character for the MC. She's smart, she could solve most of the problem herself. She's also not that kind of MC who treated everyone who hate them as enemy--actually unless they tried to mess with her, she could care less about them since she's lazy lol. She's shameless and a bit silly sometimes, but... more>> those antics of hers are really hilarious xD

what I like more about MC is although at first she shamelessly pursue ML just to latch on his golden thigh, she eventually fell in love with him and that happened without much drama, I don't even remember if they ever exchange the words of love but I can still feel the love from their treatment to each other. So much fluff~

ML is that type of cold hearted CEO. He's weary and suspicious of MC's "changes" at first, but after some times he finally conviced and falls hard for her. He pampers MC like A LOT. Even though he knows his wife is strong enough, he makes sure no one could survive after they bully her and always gives his utmost support for her. What's more funny is, their role is kind of reversed at the later chapters, MC is laid back while ML gives her meticulous treatment it almost feel like he's her nanny lol. She basically live like a queen lololol

And the xiaobao is so cute I want a kid like him pls. He loves his mommy so much, he actually makes his father become his mommy's s*ave on early chapters lol. In the further chapters, he became the biggest "obstacle" for ML's love life, they bicker a lot but will become an alliance when it comes to giving MC the queen's treatment lol

The side characters are okay and the villains are all quite dumb they schemes are just the typical schemes and MC always manage to outsmart them and gives satisfying face-slapping

I highly recommend this novel for you~ <<less

this novel is fill with sweet fluffiness! ML and MC action and attitude to each other is good, the kid is super cute!! that whole arc on the "kidnapped" ML was really funny! MC and her friend is funny too!

If you want to read a novel to pass the time, with a Mary-Sue MC that doesn't have any challenges her way, and solves everything so easily, low IQ antagonists that are easily defeated/face-slapped, a pampering ML who solves a lot of problems for MC, a cute bun to showcase a perfect family... This is the novel for you.

Initially I was interested in the story but as I read on, it got fairly predictable and boring since everything goes so well and easily for MC. Romance was also very low-key.

Basically... more>> MC is a snake demon spirit who transmigrates to human form and lives her life happily since she's finally free from jail (the zoo) and can eat what she wants, do what she wants, and is basically **absolute perfection**

ML is a cold-faced CEO who is so smart and used to hate his wife but love his kid. Eventually he realizes that MC has changed and thus, he loves her and begins to pamper her from beginning to end.

Baby is smart for a 5 year old, constantly holding a tablet and doing things that label him as a genius cutie. There isn't much "raising" like the story title tbh. He's just there to show how perfect their family is. MC doesn't raise him much since he has nannies.

Just gave it 4 star instead of 3 star because of the translator's hard efforts to translate this novel that feels so long due to it being draggy. I salute you! <<less

I like the interaction between MC n ML.. The dialogue n how ML change his heart..

First thing first, it's very humorous which I like so much. Although there is the present of the annoying sister (which is typical in a Chinese novel) but fortunately, she's not that important and doesn't appear that much. I really, really like the FL. She's humorous, coquettish but smart (a little innocent sometimes). I also like that although there's still criticisms but it isn't that much, there's more people who like her. I mean, I really find it annoying when there's a lot of criticisms from the netizens together with... more>> their foul language. So thankfully, the FL's career, though not very smooth sailing, is still can be considered as smooth sailing since she's very witty and friendly to the other crew members. Also, the ML, though there's some issues at the beginning (which is understandable), he's really good. I also like the fact that he doesn't hate the original host at first, in fact, he even had an expectation of being a family with her (just to be disappointed until he gave up). Fortunately, Yu Yaoyao, our snake spirit, came. Also, the little bun is good too. Anyway, it's 10/10 for me because it made me laugh a countless times.

Edited: I suddenly remembered that there's one thing I'm dissatisfied with.

The snu snu!!! The translator put a "19" sign in the chapter title so I'm expecting it to be a little ehem hot but it isn't!!! Wuwuwu I was fooled by that sign. Maybe the translator is waaaay more innocent than me so she/he thought that it's already r19 chapter?

I feel hella conflicted.

ML was okay 👌🏽 very standard. I kinda feel bad for him, since he is raising 2 kids instead of 1. The relationship is pretty much ML giving and giving. Even his child who he raised alone for 5 years starts despising him for MC who basically abandoned him. As a child I do understand; however I still feel bad for the ML.

Bun was again kind of too smart for a almost 5 year old; even if the OG mom neglect affected him, making him grow much... more>> much faster than usual. Still felt fake. Also he warmed up to the MC too fast for me. In the novel My wife spoils me; the MC son feels more realistic to me in his interactions with his reborn mother.

MC made me laugh a lot. However as the novel lagged on; she grated on my nerves a little since it seemed like she didn’t have any type of character development toward being more considerate to well... anything.

And the extras were so bloody unnecessary.

Lots to like with this one, but nothing really stands out.

If looking for a very smooth and fluffy story, this may be for you.

The story feels a little too smooth, any conflict resolved quickly and usually high profile.

Honestly without main character halo, she acts a little too ditzy to exist. Not sure that meshes well with how smart she seems in other aspects. Her IQ changes pretty often.

Chapter titles seem to be extremely spoilery.

The story is actually good, even the ending of each conflict is also well resolved... unfortunately there are too many things that are explained in a less consistent.

Let's take the title of the story as an example, it says that this story is titled "Raising the Child of the Male Lead Boss" but in fact rather than a child-rearing themed story, this story focuses more on showbiz themes where it tells more about how the MC climbs the ladder of success as an actress.

Beside that, this story is also made... more>> at a very slow tempo, which is not because this story has a slow plot, but because the author itself is always pauses the main conflict with various unnecessary things... Plus the author is not very good with arranging plot arrangements, so the overall story tempo looks a bit awkward due to the lack of harmony between the main plot and the side plot.

there are also some characters and hidden plots that have extraordinary potential, but end up being nothing.

Gu QianQian whose character is described as ambitious and easily jealous, but at the same time she also knows how to bow down and be patient for more advanced goals. In this story she is only described briefly and does not get too much attention, you could say she is just a passing character.

Chen Jiao is the second main leader in this story... he is often portrayed as a brainless cannon fodder villain, which make inconsistencies in the story... It can be seen from how his character acts is not not suitable with how the character is made... because Chen Jiao character is made based on a background that is quite serious and full of struggle.

Finally there is Lin Shuang who has the secret of rebirth.

The fact is, the secret of Lin Shuang's rebirth can actually be a very interesting plot for the story.

However, I don't know what the author was thinking... instead of using this potential plot, he'd rather use a s*upid cannon fodder plot for Lin Shuang, and later he will used the rebirth plot as a cover to portray Lin Shuang as a madman.

But it was very Mary Sue when you see all the coincidences. Most of her problems are solved with little effort. But I didn't mind since it made sense. She is a snake spirit that has snake abilities and her husband is powerful and rich and her road is bound to be easy. <<less
