It's a satisfying read that mainly focuses on her career as a make-up artist and developing a spa center in ancient China. So if you're looking for romance, look elsewhere. Everything else (romance, family, kids, friends) are more in the background. A good point is that the ML's troublesome family drama is settled early on. Everyone else is very supportive of her career, especially her husband. The two develop their relationship well and there's no miscommunication or anything. In fact, ML isn't op but is super supportive of her.

FL (Li Mo) used her knowledge as a famous beautician/makeup artist in past life to get a better life in ancient time with little resources. She's business-minded and smart; but I'm glad that she's not too OP... she also got her own limitations and not good in everything. I also liked that she helped many people in her way to success.

ML (Song Dashan) was also a lovable and kind character... despite his disability and poverty, he still willing to help others. More importantly, he's... more>> a good husband who supported and cared for his wife.

I also loved most of supporting characters (except Song family) throughout lead's journey.

This is amazing. It really incorporates the struggles of living in a poorer family and how tha family grows.

Our smart and resourceful MC was paired with a dedicated and loving ML.

This novel did not follow the usual transmigration troupe with any unscientific golden finger. She was able to better her families quality of living by relying on her actual skills and the support of our endearing and devoted ML. Her interactions with the child was also sweet to see.

Good family type story. Abit cliche on the poor to rich plot, but anyway it entertaining. MC is not consider too op, but she very skill make anyone beautiful with ancient beauty makeup. But I am a bit curios on how she make face powder and highlight, lol anyway I guess she study it before so it plausible. ML is sweet, a rough man and no golden finger or ' face jade carve beauty", or hidden prince or general. Lol, but he's a sweet man, honest, (abit cinnamon roll) hardworking man. His setting id not your typical ancient man though (cus he pamper his wife, wash her feets, and not letting her do housework) thats can never happens to a household thats so poor or a life of village farmers. They don't have that luxury in real life. Then there a sweet bun, typical melt heart type sensible baby son. Lol..

Anyway it's quite a typical modern woman transmigrated to ancient world try to make abetter life for herself and family. Not much dogblood or excessive face slapping. Who want realities type story when you can have second life. Worth to read. Thank you. <<less

This novel is really give slice of life vibe.. althought the ML is just so so phisically but he is so dedicated n love FL.. The FL is not too OP n I think the story quite realistic on how the FL gain fortune n life

I myself not in rush while reading every chapter... usually I will jump chapter if I bored..

Slow building but quite well written

Great alice of life style slow read. There's some action, but not overly dramatic. There's no politics or inner courtyard fighting. If you enjoy doing business as a peasant, this is a good one.

The development is way to quick for me. It is too cliche and sweet.
