Ming Shu struggled to survive for ten years in the apocalypse. One day, her body became someone else’s meal, and her soul transmigrated into the body of an eleven-year-old girl who had starved to death.

A few years later, her adoptive mother, for the sake of her sons, drugged Ming Shu. In response, Ming Shu grabbed the fruit knife she had used to fight for her life in her previous life, injured herself, and escaped to another household, occupying their home. After recovering, she nonchalantly left, only to return to her adoptive family to uncover the truth. Using the same method, she exacted revenge on her adoptive parents, making them suffer the consequences of their actions.

Armed with information about her biological parents, Ming Shu eagerly went to the countryside, only to discover a man persistently following her along the way. Shi Yan, at home, had a wife delivered by fate, but this wife was a bit fierce—she used him up completely and took no responsibility. Left with no choice, he could only chase after her to reclaim his dignity.

I loved reading this novel and seeing a FL be strong and upfront about her love and dedication to the ML was just the sweetest thing!

But I have 2 complaints:

  1. The ending didn't really wrap up the whole transmigration/rebirth plot the way I wished it did.
  2. In comparison to chapters related to the main plot there where too many side quests chapters that didn't really contribute to the overall storyline.
