This is a relatively interesting story, but has some flaws that have made me lose interest because it's the kind of ridiculous that breaks suspension of disbelief.

It spends a fair bit of time establishing that MC is having identity problems as a result of being a middle schooler and suddenly changing sexes. But does so while dragging her into a bath with like 6 women going "well you're not a man anymore so it's fine." Then later her younger sister drags her into a bath at home and gropes her.... more>> Then she's dragged to a lingerie store to buy clothes and is forced to try on a bunch of, presumably, lingerie? The first bath scene was sandwiched with a relatively intelligent depiction of addressing someone whose identity was compromised, but then they seem to forget that's a thing?

Spoiler

The mom also apparently has mind control powers and tricked MC into being forced to act feminine? It's brushed aside as "tehe, I'm so silly, I tricked you. By the way it's permanent and irrevocable."

And that's just not great. It's actually quite sick.

It just can't seem to decide if it wants to be serious or irreverent. On top of that, I'd say at least half the 30 chapters I read were secondary perspectives retelling the same events, but with more world-building and varying levels of seriousness. It makes the character development feel weird, the pace seem rushed but also slow, and the world-building feel somewhat disjointed and rushed. It's not bad, per se, but it sets your expectations in one direction before going down an entirely different path.

Also, minor complaint, the pronouns are very often messed up in the translation. It seems great everywhere else, but is a bit annoying when something like "Your old clothes are baggy on me, so you should borrow mine." becomes "My old clothes are baggy on me, so I should borrow mine." It's not indecipherable or anything, just disruptive. <<less
