Okay so I’m going to be honest I had extremely high expectations so many people said this was the top of the top when it came to apocalyptic type danmei and it left me hungry is the only word I can say

it starts off kinda confusing but then it’s starts to get a grove going and I’m enjoying it and then it’s takes a nose dive and just loss it’s way felt like the author had the beginning and middle planed but not the end also found the main villain... more>> just lacking I really like the MC and ML and liked their relationship the issues I had was that this story edged you and the mysteries felt very underwhelming also the ending was very ohh that’s it and almost incomplete in a way and side cast was so good but then at the same time we barely get to know them <<less

I loved this novel at first, but it did start to drag for me a bit after that. I’m a hiker for BL but also zombies so the book was made for me. It’s a good read even if the 2nd half wasn’t as compelling as the first half was for me.

Somehow as the story progressed, it lost its spark gradually. The plot is quite good but it's not engaging enough.

After reading the author's old works and comparing it this one, it could be said that author has improved a lot.

This novel is an action packed with complex and chaotic situations. You won't have time to move your eyes away.

The characterization has enhanced gives off a positive and hopeful outlook even in worse situations. I like this trait.

This was such a fantastic read! I loved it so much. I can partially read Chinese so I just MTL'd from ch 40 onwards, but it was pretty understandable.

The relationship between the MC and ML is so sweet and organic, their chemistry is just off the charts. The MC is quite realistic, OP but with trauma, and he's got a prickly but sweet personality. I just really enjoyed them doing everything they could to save each other. The side characters are also great.

For enjoyability, I would rate it 5/5. Plot... more>> is pretty good and always keeps you on the edge of your seat, although the ending is a bit more lackluster so 4.5/5. <<less

I'm taking off one star because the characters of this novel keep giving blood thinning analgesic to bleeding patients, which is bad news on a stormy weather. Just bad.

Also, Zhou Rong's proposal is the most romantic proposal ever. Lol. Go, take on the heavy responsibility of human reproduction.

I love this. Will continue to wait for updates. Personally I'm pretty satisfied so far maybe because the only other good sci-fi novels I've found aren't BL. The humour is also something I seriously appreciate. Much love to the author and the translator.
