The first arc was fine. More than fine, even. It was not perfect: dragged out a bit to the end, ML was manipulated into falling in love with MC, but all in all - a very enjoyable read. That left me optimistic.

The second arc did not correct shortcomings of the first arc. It is even more dragged out (same events repeated again and again), no relationship development between MC and ML, MC again manipulates ML into falling in love.

... more>> The beginning of the third arc gives us this gem:

MC: "I'll try to persuade female lead to be good?" (in arc 2 MC decided to abandon the task and be with ML)

System: "Didn't you say you want to do it by yourself? Why do you want to persuade her again?"

MC: "That is a special situation. It's hard to be stabbed in the ass for a lifetime, okay!"

Imagine. Just imagine living a whole live having s*x this bad. Not once he enjoyed having s*x with ML.

Imagine being an author writing this. And being proud of themselves.

But this was not the worst part. The worst part was that in arc three ML suffered from an injury and had a mentality of a young child. And shortcomings of the previous arcs are still not fixed.

Yes, in this arc MC sexually harasses and manipulates into falling in love someone who has a mentality of a child.

By "manipulating" I mean that he does not have any feelings to ML, but wants him to fall in love simply to reach his goal. I can't tell you how uncomfortable I was while reading MC literally g*ooming his supposed love interest. (The fact that nothing else happens in this arc was not helping).

I know that I read the fourth arc, but it was a month ago and this arc left no impression on me. (So little, that I was surprised that there is an arc 4). But since overall impression of this novel is "from good to bad to worse" I'm not sad about it.

Arc five is where I decided that enough is enough. In this arc MC bought ML on black market to save hi from worse fate. Then he married ML even though ML REALLY didn't want to. MC (who still does not have feelings to ML) made a bet with ML that in three months he will fall in love with MC.

86 chapters in and relationship between MC and ML are still nonexistent. I'm not sure the author even capable of writing a normal relationship. You know, where characters are with each other because they love each other? And no one manipulates the other? Who enjoy having s*x with each other?

In conclusion: if you enjoyed the first arc and think that the rest of the story is also good - run. Do not invest your time and feelings into this story. You will be left angry and disappointed. <<less

The story is pretty cute.

The MC is a radish who cultivated into human form and was killed by a lightning tribulation, who was later bound to a system to live and transmigrate to different worlds.

It was so entertaining since he was like: "System, you told me that the Male Lead is a straight guy! Why is he bent!?"

From: "Why me?" to "It should be me!"

I like how the ML gradually remembers and finds the MC.

The MC's name is the saviour of the ML ?

It's great for a light read. Some of the arcs get a little bit boring and there area lot of time skips. (Ex: From A Cultivation World: One hundred years later, the old couple blah blah blah and then the MC went back into the empty space and went to the next world.)

The Extras are really, really nice expecially how the "big villain" changed and became frienemies (friend + enemies) with the MC.

There was a little angst but it was fixed immediately. The novel is a HE and I'm satisfied with the ending. Don't expect a great plot with all the scheming and drama. It's really just a light read and just enjoy the ride.

I want to thank the author of this novel and for the translator who picked this novel up. #Fighting amd will continue to support. ? <<less

At first, the story is not really bad. I mean, not annoying at least. But after some time, he kinda... really becomes radish, I guess? Cause I cant believe that a human can be that st-pid and naive. But again, you knew what you were going for - title literally states that he is plant (vegetable, to be exact). Never expected him to be a genius. You can give it a try, if like, seriously bored. Also, I don't really remember what worlds were about😗

this plot is alright, , , it could've been a cute novel to read when you don't have anything else.. Now for me it is just a boring novel I would read and not think too much about, , just as a pass time.

till now I just know that MC likes beautiful things/people (like ML) definitely a face-con

Arc 1: A very modern setting with the target being a frail sick rich man. Chu Ci acting as his doctor/ex-classmate to make sure to help the target get together with the woman he loves.

The ML in Arc 1:

ML's name here is Xuan Lin. From where readers first read of him ML is described having an androgynous type of beauty to him. He at first seems really sweet and kind just a bit of a doormat. Also, he's incredibly innocent. However, there's something off about him that Chu Ci notices.

Xuan Lin apparently has two personalities. The second personality is a lot more discerning of people and quick to act if he sees a threat. Also, he can be a bit scary when he wants to be. He's called Wildflower by Chu Ci while the first personality is called White Flower. Throughout the arc there are triggers that make Wildflower come out such as White Flower being indecisive.

Yu Shuyao's a piece of work. She's childhood friends with the ML and once saved his life. So far, she sounds like a good person right? Unfortunately, she is secretly cheating on the ML with Hen Wen.

Chu Ci's relationship with ML in Arc 1: Chu Ci and ML in the beginning are feeling each other out. They both don't know each other so neither knows what to quite make of the other. Although Chu Ci is kind of a face-con, that does not deter Chu Ci from thinking logically.

Near the beginning Chu Ci is instantly enamored with the ML due to his beautiful appearance. Chu Ci tries his best to try to finish the task by being close to ML by attending to the ML like a nurse. In doing this Chu Ci realizes that his primordial spirit affects the ML more than he thought. The ML notices the strange effects and decides to question Chu Ci. After questioning Chu Ci the ML platonically sleeps with Chu Ci.

System Personality: This system kind of reminds me of a customer service agent who acts like they know what they're doing but they really don't. But the system also has some secrets. It's obvious that there's more to the deal with Chu Ci that meets the eye.

In the beginning, the system was talking to someone who wondered if Chu Ci was up to the task of dealing with this mission. But the system reassured them that Chu Ci is only one who could take this task. Which makes me think they need Chu Ci more then Chu Ci needs them.

At the end of everything I liked it, I thought it was going to be bad because of the comments, but I feel that although the beginning is a bit boring it is justified why he does not fall in love with the ML, in the first 3 worlds the carrot MC only goes for the mission that was entrusted to him to be able to ascend, already after the 3rd world he realizes that the ML is the same soul and he is really interested and falls in love,... more>> I see all this as normal and I do not understand why there are comments that treat him as unpleasant and that it manipulates the ML.

and since he says that he harasses the ML, in fact he is justified because after all that is his task to do, at the end of all I feel that he is good to read and hang out

oh and remember that it's only fiction, a book, don't get so angry just because the MC and the ML have a difference of almost 20 years or because the ML has a child's mind <<less

It was mostly cute, a little infuriating, but not a bad way to pass time.

Arcs 1-3 I really enjoyed, arc 4 was decent, arcs 5 and 6 annoyed me, arc 7 was okay, arc 8 and 9 we're really short, and the real world arc was okay, but annoyed me a little.

MC wasn't a bad MC, I didn't find him annoying, just a little dumb. His character setup was so close to being really good, but fell short.

ML was decent, especially for a QT ML. He wasn't overly possessive or... more>> forceful.

Their relationship started off rocky, I almost dropped it after the first chapter because I thought the MC was fickle and selfish. The MC's love for the ML grows, which was nice, but not executed in the best way.

The writing style isn't the worst I've read, but the author's pacing was off, and the ending of the arcs were really abrupt. Not to mention some of the really idiotic things the MC and ML don't notice.

I mean come on, in the magic world it takes the ML way too long to figure out the space mage is most likely the MC and it takes the MC WAY too long figuring out who the ML is in that world.

I will say that this author spent more time in the real world than most of the QT novels I've read, so I do appreciate the effort. I just think it was missing something.

The translation to begin with was really good but somewhere in the middle the quality dropped. I think a good editor would have fixed it. Some of the parts towards the end felt like I was reading MTL. <<less

Who cheats on ML and later comes back, threatens and mocks MC, is beautiful but is a green tea b*tch, literally every cannon fodder. 💀 Every arc had this brain dead kind of women as the villain and they all shared one brain cells being similar to each other.

Perhaps there’s more to it than this since Arc 4 is omegaverse or beastmen, but i’m giving up to this. Im now tipping my hat off to ladies and gentlemen! <<less

Some of these reviews are harsh. I mean, this isn't a masterpiece. But these types of stories almost never are. I thought it was funny and cute. Very standard bl worldhopping. The MC is a bit funny.

. Towards the end it felt a bit rushed. Also, not sure why some readers are expecting much in terms of morality and whatnot. First off, this is a bl Chinese webnovel. Second, the MC is a damn radish. It's a brainless story haha. Sort of slice of life. Nothing too face slapping or dramatic happens. It had enough twists to be interesting. Not bad for a time filler.

The little radish was cute but a bit s*upid/slow and you get tired of it after a few arcs. But it was still a pretty good read and I appreciate the plot/background being well thought out.

Arc 1: ch1-26 Modern World. ML has a split personality one innocent and the other blackened. (The feelings of our MC is basically a lie) The MC is together with the blackened personality first while at the same time the innocent personality likes someone else so this may irritate you but you can skip the... more>> arc. The split personality made this one of my favorite* arcs = its definitely a unique concept in a quick-transmigration novel.

Arc 2: ch 27- 46 Modern World. Game World. Young Master from a rich family in a coma Shou x powerful and rich game company owner ML. (From online to RL relationship). The MC's real body is in a coma for most of the arc but they meet in RL at an offline game meeting. MC kind of runs away from ML because of a misunderstanding but end up together after meeting at his birthday banquet since they are part of the same rich social circle.

Arc 3: ch47-63 Ancient World. Eunuch Shou x Crown Prince turned Emperor Gong. The Shou takes care of the mentally young crown prince who is being bullied and neglected almost like being locked up in the cold palace. He wasn't always sick and returns to normal later but forgets about the Shou who took care of him and who he fell for. Don't worry he gets his memory back later and they marry.

Arc 4: ch64 - 81 Modern World. Beastman World. Human Playboy bodied Shou x Peac*ck Gong Favorite*!!! The cuteness level of this arc is off the charts! Especially when the Gong is in his beast form. Starts off a bit rough with most of the people around disliking our MC because of the original body's past.

Arc 5: ch82-96 Modern World. Older impotent Gong-like Shou x Auctioned Young Master to family patriarch Gong. Mafia vibes. Schemes. Mu*der. Human trafficking. The Gong was sold at an auction because of another rich family's scheme. Our Shou buys him but the Gong mistakes him for the person who killed his dad and sold him to the auction house. When he learns the truth he starts falling for the Shou and becomes yandere level obsessive wanting to takeover the Zhou's territory because of a misunderstanding.

Arc 6: ch97-117 Magic World. Orphan Commoner Space Ability Shou x Ice Ability Nobel Gong. The space ability people live in a forest and it gives me elven vibes. There is a magic ring marriage pact that is similar to being marked in omegaverse. Its a life and death pact. They meet during their childhood and marry by accident. The Shou only figures out that the Gong is him around the last or second last chapter but its obvious to the readers. Also the Shou recognised the wrong Gong at the start because someone had the same appearance as the gong had before.

Arc 7: ch118 - 132 Modern Entertainment World. Small Actor Shou x Film Emperor with a background Gong. I probably like this arc the least because of the Gong. Its honestly worth skipping if you don't want to be irritated by a man that has more than one relationship at a time and was originally unwilling to give it up even after meeting our Shou. The Gong has some memory of the previous lives but finds a replacement who has the same name as our Shou. The acting wasn't really described well (if that's one of the things you like like me). This arc made me want to stop reading.

Arc 8: ch133- 139. Ancient World. Cultivation World but more like the Mortal Realm. Fox Demon Shou x ex-royalty Taoist Monk/Demon Hunter Gong. Gong has his memories and wants to distance himself from the Shou but can't. Favorite*arc! The cuteness level is high here too because of the Shou's fox form and because the Gong keeps him in a bead sometimes! The Gong eventually leaves his temple/sect to be with the Shou. No Royalty in the story except for mentioned background.

Arc 9: ch140-144 Cultivation World. Not really Disciple Shou x Sect Elder/Master/Immortal Gong. Not really much of the master x disciple vibes. Gong has his memories but doesn't start of in a romantic direction because of his own plans for them. But they eventually start dual cultivation and leave the sect. The arc is cut short with sudden but not emotional nor tragic death because of the real Gong.

Arc 10: ch145-153 Back to Reality. Immortal World + travel to different worlds. Amnesiac Shou x Heavenly Lord to Demon Gong. They still end up together. The Gong sacrifices a lot for this relationship but doesn't regret it and is still the most powerful.

4 Extras: Its basically just their life after. Gong and Shou goes to the company together and their daily life. Not really much to miss. Gong's younger brother also briefly gets together with his partner (although not very willingly) but there isn't much detail you can guess some of it though. The Shou gets his memory back in the last arc. <<less

It's good for a quick reading. Don't hold any expectation over it, just go with the flow.

The MC being a radish, he have close to none common sense but a lot of desires. He want to live the good life basically. But 3 arc in with arc 2 covering for about many decades but still close to none character improvement. It seems to shows more and more character flaws instead.

I don't know further development cuz I drop in at the end of arc 3. It's enjoyable for a short while... more>> but if it keeps this kind of setting it will be quite a drag to read. <<less

i feel like it’s too “slice of life” for me. The MC doesn’t toggle my heart strings, I want him to, but eh. I like the ML. It’s a cute story, but kinda slow for me. It doesn’t keep my attention.

I know there is an audience for such genre and writing, but doesn’t interest me.

Hmmm I dont get the low ratings.I found this veryy enjoyable and exciting.I stumbled upon this accidentaly as I had finihsed reading the translator other work. If not Im afraid I wouldve nvr got the chance to read this cos of the ratings.

I found the story not tat cliche, quite refreshing in some aspects and very cute.I thought it was well written. Gv this novel a chance!!!

Reading experience: Poorly translated for the most part. A normal standard of English is achieved only after the Chapter 100 mark. The author's prose is sluggish and nondescript, which means that there was not much to work with from the beginning.

Characters: Even a radish cannot be excused from poor character development over a timespan of centuries across multiple worlds. It's ok if MC starts as a toddler and grows, but there's no point if all he becomes by the end is a toddler with a record of s*x crimes.

Story: nothing... more>> but playing love scenarios in different sceneries. There is no other conflict and it cannot even count as slice of life because there is no 'living' being done here. Read to get slices of toddler brain, served cold.

This review was made after reading up to chapter 68.1, then dipsticking into later chapters to verify the authenticity of the views represented.

The story is not bad, but towards the end it’s got a bit off, but it’s a relax read. The translation is good at the beginning but abit messy towards the end.

Our Radish CC is abit innocent so the way he’s thoughts and behaviour is abit childish, cannot blame him, as he really a newborn and his knowledge is all of what he’s heard. ML is just sweet on MC. So just enjoy the ride. Thank you

I stopped reading during the 4th arc. I think the 3rd one still scarred me a bit and the setting / set up for the 4th one wasn't looking promising.

I love qt, but the characters in this one are a bit unlikable. The radish is so shallow - how is him desperately trying to seduce the target in order to complete a mission / because the target is very attractive any better than the gold digging female leads? Aren't they all clinging to the target for benefits?

And the way... more>> the radish does it is so bad - I'm not typically turned off by youth relationships, but there's just something so slimey about a 30 year old seducing (with ulterior motives) someone who has the mentality and s*xual innocence of a child. Perhaps if the translation was better, this might have come off better, but as it was, I was a bit nauseated.

Then, the radish forgets all about trying to do his mission and instead focuses on seducing. In qt arcs that have no face-slapping or revenge or other plot, this means there's really nothing to keep the reader's attention. The plot just becomes about a face-con embarrassingly pursuing someone completely out of their league and getting them (because of some lingering attachment from previous worlds where he tricked the target into thinking he actually cared).

Poor target. Never able to find someone who actually loves him for himself... <<less

I don't know about anyone else but this was good for a quick read

I mean the ending was a bit dragged and honestly

I still dont get it

But it's enough to pass the time

The relationship was cute and all and the way Chu Ci identified his lover in each world got me laughing

Anyways

I reccomend this for anyone who just wants a brainless fluff story

Funny QT featuring a supercute 1000yr old radish MC. The MC makes a deal with the dimension system in order to save his little radish life.

Not a masterpiece but qualifies as a great QT fluff read. Does not deserve the bad rating on NU, so am giving it full score. Yes, translation is poor but it is better than MTL. There are many grammatical errors but the story and reading is totally comprehensible, especially if you are a veteran c-novel reader. There are many things that it does better than other QT of same category... it is well paced, funny, has consistent characters and a coherent plot that ties all the 10 worlds together. There are even some interesting elements that other authors would not dare tackle in a light novel, for e.g split personality, unattractive MC, impotence etc... I also liked that, from world to world, there is actual logical progression with a good ending that explains it all.

MC's pragmatic thought processes as a radish spirit is funny and his random dialogues with the system on many subjects made me lol so many times. I did not like the 4th and 5th world because of the tropey yaoi elements like dubcon and omegaverse but all the others were great. <<less

ML is the same person in all worlds and he wants to be with him though mainly it does not seem to be a deep feeling, MC seems to be quite shallow
