Really very boring. This novel falls under a sub-genre that I like to call 'pinnacle wish-fulfillment'. The way this genre works is that the our MC basically gets everything he ever wants and beats anyone who happens to get on his way, splendidly and with 1 hand behinds his back I might add.

People like this type of books because they enjoy the feeling of superiority they get when relating to the MC, it's pretty exhilarating feeling when the character you're relating to slaps someones face and completely shames them for... more>> their inadequacy- perhaps totally proving their belief systems wrong. Think books like 'A Valiant Life' or 'Elixir Supplier'. It's just slapping faces or getting that satisfaction from being better and/or right.

The obvious issue with this genre is that since everything has basically been set in stone for our guy well what is there to read anymore? Our MC will win and slap faces, nothing ever really happens; its just same situations repeated of him always winning and getting beautiful girls left and right. Well not quite, normally that is.

Usually in this type of books the route the author takes is something like wish-fulfillment+comedy (in form of parody) and sometimes even satire towards the main genre which here would be xianxia. Sure they might throw some more serious content in here and there but basically it's just really fun and enjoyable asspulls from our MC then either some slice of life type content or adventuring.

So why is this book boring then? That would be because in this story there were all the elements of success except 1, the comedic undertone. Here its just a guy taking over someones body, immediately becoming peerlesly talented, getting girls left and right and slapping faces. Without the comedy aspect it becomes a serious story and as a serious story it has no hook or anything for anyone to want to keep reading it because the conclusion of the book as already set.

Most handsome in the world? Check. Most talented in the world? Check. Fastest cultivator in the world? Check. Many beautiful girls falling for him on sight? Check. I could keep going. Its just ridiculously bad. Everything MC does here is perfect and will always succeed. That's why this isn't worth my time. <<less

This novel is the wish fullfilment kind, with overpowered MC, who is the most beautiful person across the universe. Yes really he travels to every galaxy there is but you wont find anyone more beautiful than MC.

They are actually so easy he just plays with his enemies. He lets them leave just so when they come back so he can kill them and take better harvest for himself. Seems smart at first glance, but after chapter 600-700 this happens on a huge scale. Sometimes he can kill his enemies easily, but he will let them get away at least 10 times just so they get stronger and come back to challenge him thinking they can beat him. Ofcourse its always a one sided match, but his peers are too s*upid so after going to train they always think that they surpassed the MC.

Very entertaining novel, this is one of the most entertaining novels I read. The story, plot, character, comedy, pacing everything is on point. I have to say, this is one of those novels where the author knows what he is doing, whenever something boring is about to happen we get a timeskip or a direct teleportation to the matter, we never sit there waiting, or get bored it's always productive and entertaining. The main drawback of this series was the fact that the author has a very generic endgame main plotline that has been used many many times and also it's repetitiveness. Basically MC that has everything. You could say he’s Anos Voldigoad level overpowered. Not too bad if you compare this to other chinese novels, I suggest you give it a try. Though kinda saddens me that theres no polygamy tag (Im rooting for Lan Yu, even if she’s not the main wife)

This is another surprisingly good story that has a low rating for some reason. I can sort of see why, its a complete power fantasy, so if that doesn't appeal to you, you will hate it. The protagonist is overpowered as hell from the very start, never loses and is always perfectly matched up against people he has just become strong enough to defeat right as he meets them. Its also played rather straight, without the sort of comedic undertone of other similar settings.

In our own world we would probably be disgusted with such a person for his willingness to kill off people for simply belonging to a group he is enemies with. It has an excellent translation, is entertaining enough and manages to keep things changing often enough to stop getting too boring, and I think it is one of the better novels I have read, within in own subset of cultivation stories (completely OP protagonist from the start).
