Allen, an eight-year-old boy from a poor family in the royal capital, is living a poor but happy life together with his mother.

One day, however, memories of his previous life suddenly come back to him and he remembers that he is in a dating sim game, and that the capital will be destroyed by war if he doesn’t do something about it.

If this continues, both he and his mother will be killed!

With a sense of urgency, he decides to rise to the occasion in order to save his precious mother’s life, as well as saving his favorite character – the villainous young lady Anastasia, the only girl he liked in the game – from her all too tragic and ruinous end.

This is the story of a man who isn’t even a character in the game, but who strives with his steely determination and uses all the knowledge he has to turn overcome fate!

The story makes no sense, and when you think about it the character's seem psychotic; however, it's fun to read. I give this: 2/5 story telling, 4/5 fun factor, and 5/5 huh what.

Decent read, would be a good one if you haven't read those good ones...

I guess I'm just that spoiled on novels that have good story, but this one is constant in a bad way (?)

It's not bad per se, just that I felt that it's quite rushed on the first parts and things that are somehow not clicking in me when the two couples are interacting... And the antagonist being a delusional (Otome protag) doesn't help in the 1D thing that I'm not liking.

Pretty much a carbon copy of Otome Mob Sekai except all the side characters are even dumber and there's no harem.

The main side characters don't really make any sense and are only there to make MC look better when they inevitably lose. Honestly it wouldn't have been fine if it was just that, but none of the reactions of anyone else besides the MC make sense. There are also a lot of later developments that make no sense such as later when

the heroine literally gets kidnapped and people are just okay with it. Pretty much no one does anything besides the MC and the father and even then their reactions are pretty tame, especially when the main villain (the original game heroine) says to the MC's face about how she's going to be r*ped and killed. They know the prince did it and all the MC does is go back to school? And this literally happens after they get married...

Anyways I will give it props for having actual development between the MC and heroine, so 2 stars. <<less

This quickly became extremely infuriating when seeing the dumbass decisions the MC takes like he has no problems killing thousands of soldiers but the guy and girl that are responsible for the ra. Pe and almost death of his loved one are not even considered to be punished once in his hands, Im truly frustated by this story at this point

The story skips around too much and the characters are just poorly writen caricatures.

I thought I would give it to the school life portion of the story because that's where the meat of the plot is, but the author still just keeps skipping big chunks of time. Many events are explained in summary or after the fact.

The worst parts are the side characters, though. Anastasia seems fine, but she's a one trick pony. The author seems to think that an ideology is a personality. Hell, even the ideology is nuts.... more>>

Yet again we have someone defending monarchy by just stateing "I care about the people because they give me taxes!" Over and over while also writing about a society with extreme rates of illiteracy, child labor, and poverty. This is what the good side believes because Mr. Author thinks that having a villian say "People are created equal" in a smug voice destorys any opposition to his dumb system.

Still, it's not just that deslutional misunderstanding of his own system that bothers me. The entire character of Amy is an overplayed trope in itself.

"Huhuhu, it's the main character of the original game, but she's also possessed by a Japanese person and she's eviiiiiil!!"

Wow, so special.

Its not even well done here...

Look, I understand that the MC is going to be smarter than some random high school girl, but the author writes that sort of blatently malicious character with everything just short of a point.

Anyway, don't bother with this. There are plenty of other stories just like this that are better written, better paced, and more engaging. I'm sure you can find 3.

I am sincerely upset that the author of this swill won any place at any award at any time for this mistake of a web novel and I hope that he eventually writes something worth a damn. <<less

There are some nonsense and things that make you think a lot of "why", but overall it's quite good and enjoyable. Definitely above average in terms of story compared to standard JP novels.

Edit at ch50 : I retract my statement, it has a lot of plot holes and MC's character is very questionable lately. A lot of forced events, and weirdly paced story. I think 3 is very generous as it start with good impression.

What to say, this is a shameless rip-off of the novel "The World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs" albeit not a harem centered one.

Not as good event wise (hell some event are almost carbon paper of the original), however, much shorter and not as long winded and at time boring.

This novel is only 99 chapters long, don't know if the end is rushed, but up to now, this rip-off prove to be entertaining and eventful.

A good read to pass the time.
