Ye Si x Yu Guang
Ye Si, the campus’s prince charming whom everyone admires.
No matter who looks at him, they have to say he’s uniquely handsome, elegant like a pine.
Yu Guang is no exception.
On the hundredth day of peeping, Ye Si finally broke up with his annoying girlfriend (fake girlfriend).
Yu Guang coldly watched them walk away from each other, secretly pleased.
Messing up his neat hairstyle, fixing his innocent expression, he bumped into Ye Si’s arms with his backpack.
“Ah! Senior, I’m sorry!”
Ye Si’s hand was cold, but it burned into his heart through his shirt.
He deliberately approached, probed—
While Yu Guang captured the senior’s heart with his innocence and obedience, harassing messages from unknown numbers became more rampant.
?: Why aren’t the buttons on your shirt fastened? Are you trying to seduce me?
?: Baby, your earlobes are so pretty, want me to pierce them for you?
Yu Guang was at a loss.
He wanted to find this fellow hiding in the dark corner, but unintentionally stumbled upon some different secrets.
The senior’s chilly thin lips pressed against his sensitive neck, blowing air provocatively.
Ye Si called him, “A little fox who throws itself into the net.”
“I’m giving you my entire soul, along with its quirks, petty temper, capriciousness, and eighteen hundred types of bad habits.”
“It’s truly detestable, with only one good point—it loves you.”
Both top and bottom are not good people.
The top has a hidden identity, non-realistic background.
Pursuit of the bottom → mutual pursuit
Dual male leads, power struggle, redemption, unrequited love, melodrama, happy ending, plot twists, white to black, extreme emotional rollercoaster.

I wish I could throw this book into a pit of fire.
As someone who has experienced SA as a child/teen, there's nothing I detest more than the unnecessary use of it in literature.
For it to be part of the main character's background, it made enough sense to fit in the story. However, when the MC got kidnapped, what happened during was disgusting.
I didn't cry reading because it was well written enough to make me empathize with the character. I HAD to cry because the author wrote something so heinous for a couple of sympathy points from the ML.
What purpose did it serve?! Anything, from a foot sprain to blood draining could have served the same purpose, without further trauma to the MC.
In fact, the story doesn't feel complete at end because:
1- the ML never shows nothing further than light interest or pity until the very end.
2- any and all emotional growth the MC had, the author shredded it with the SA.
3- ultimately, there's no strong foundation for them to stick together after the story finalizes. Even though it ended on a happy note (with them both immortal and together), it feels like a BE in the sense that everything in their lukewarm relationship points to a breakup.
