Yu Fan didn’t like the sight of the new transfer student in his class.

The other party glanced at him.

Yu Fan: He’s looking for a fight.

The second glance.

Loved their relationship. Loved their longing. Loved their love.

Unexpected in Beautiful way.

Love how the characters portrayed, their consistency, but also the Growth they have.

Like how ML seems act like Expressionless person but actually passionate WITHOUT us readers getting to read any of his Mind/Inner Feelings.

... more>> There's only 10% part that described how he feels, but every of his actions shows his feelings loudly. That even MC can tell not long after they hang out together.

ML is such a Fun and Beautiful piece written by the author. But MC... So Impactful and Powerful. His characteristic was just... Uuuuggghhh!!! I LOVE BOTH OF THEM SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! THEY'RE TRULY PRECIOUS!!!

The friendship is mostly friends hang out with each other. Nothing dramatic, but the feeling of Youth and then later after reunion they all still close and open. Accepting and all... It's such a Great Friendship!!!

The Separation scenes was Powerfully Heartaching I was literally let out tears...

It does not have 'Villain'. Bad people does exist. Flawed people and all. But this what made the story different from other novel.

No one written in black and white. Seriously Meaningful.

Please Please do try to read it!!! It's SOOOOO GOOOOOD, lots of Funny moments, but also the Drama was nothing Frustrating that would feel unnecessary nor 'angry'. But it was so Powerful and grabbing your heart tight.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOVING IT SOOOOOOOO MUUUUCH FOREVER WITH MY ETERNAL LOVE AND SOUL FOR ETERNITY AND BEYOND IN ANY UNIVERSES!!!

AMAZING!

I loved it! I laughed a lot, cried a lot and giggled at the fluff moments.

Whenever Chen Jingshen (ML) would show up, I would feel a sense of security. And I think that's what Yu Fan (MC) felt. I mean, the story is told mostly from his perspective. He found comfort in Chen Jingshen. They both found comfort in each other. It was so sweet💕

I highly recommend it!

OMG this novel is so so so good! I was baited into reading this by the poster of audio drama s2 I accidentally saw on my TL. The summary sound interesting and before I knew it I already finished reading in one sitting. It's not boring at all! The ML and MC are likable, they complement each other and the writing style is easy to read. It's so funny and sweet that I didn't expect it to have knives in the later chapters. I'm so attached with the couple I... more>> cried so much for them. These poor babies, luckily they found each other and it's HE. The ending is also satisfying. I love Yu Fan and Chen Jingshen so much I immediately bought the audio drama. The s2 is ongoing right now and it's so good, the novel reader is not dissappointed! <<less

Liked this novel a lot! I finished reading the raws very recently and just discovered that it was being translated here.

The beginning parts is your typical slice of life/school life/sweet romance. The ML is in love with the MC from the start, confesses really early, but it takes a pretty long time for the MC to fully warm up and accept him. No dog-blooded romance development, pretty straightforward. The MC is the type to be cold on the outside but really soft on the inside towards the ones he cares... more>> about (even if he will never admit it). We see him becoming more and more tolerant of the ML slowly inching his way inside his life, and also reacting more and more to his romantic gestures. In the later part something pretty angsty does happen (made me cry) but everything does round off well in a happy ending. Ngl the novel didn't necessarily stand out to me until the later parts because I have already read so many school life novels but a good spoonful of angst always does it for me 🤣 You truly start to see the strength of their bond and their feelings towards each other through this event and the distance it caused. And when everything is finally resolved there's a lot of really touching moments of just. Honesty. From both characters and the writing does well to portray the emotional depths of those moments. Anyways, nothing too spectacular, but definitely still would recommend. <<less

This series was really something for me. I giggled so much reading it that my mum probably thinks I have a bf by now lmao. Putting dots after lmao is such a vibe tho.

I loved the slow-burn of it so much. I feel connected with the characters pretty easily. Maybe after years for the first time I cried over a book, and tho I normally dont use my devices on charge; for this one I sat on the floor at 3 am, read it miserily, half-teary, with my device on... more>> charge. I felt my stomach burn on its peak. I loved the small details appearing suddenly.

When the 6 years gap happened; I felt like the characters that I loved was all of a sudden taken, and forced to be grown with so much pain. Not seeing them during there made me feel empty. I wish the break was a little shorter like 3 yrs or something, but also i’m 18 currently so starting on the same age with characters and seeing them all of a sudden grown up got me a feeling like I've fallen behind somehow. But also in a good way it reminded me that time flies, so i’ll know its worth better now.

It really made me cry, it was a very good read, it's so nice how they love each other so much despite everything, they understood each other, they gave each other love and trust.

Yu Fan's father is a s*umbag, I hated him so much because of him, Yu Fan and his mother lived very badly, that separation could have been avoided if that guy had been in jail.

The story reminds me so much of Fake slackers.

POSSIIBLE SPOILERS !!!

I like this group too, their innocence and youth is so refreshing and fun... At first, I thought it was going to be all fluff and it was for most parts. The start until the middle was fun, Yu Fan was really a tsundere, he’s so adorable especially when his words don't match his actions. You can really see his personality from the beginning. I like Jingshen, however, he felt too bland until the middle. I know it was mostly... more>> Yu Fan’s POV and Jingshen’s personality is all cold and stuff but having some of his pov would’ve been good (I know we saw more of his emotions but that wasn’t until the end), it felt like Yu Fan was a complex character and CJS was just there... I could say that Yu Fan is really amongst the strongest mc’s out there cus with all his trauma and the ab*se he experienced, he still turned out well. He cares a lot for the people close to him, he just doesn’t want them to notice. And I really liked their group. I was scared they'd find out about the relationship early and their friendship will be ruined but I’m glad they found out at the right time.

With the story being mostly fluff I didn't expect to cry and yet I did. The story really tackled some heavy topic, I think this was the first story I encountered where their sexuality is a heavy topic and for an outsider I think the story really portrayed the issues well, especially with the hiding from friends and family, the fear, and coming out and not being accepted. I really felt for Yu Fan when he found out about what his dad did and how he took all the blame for what his father did. I cried for him when I read it T.T And I hurt for Jingshen too. Those 6 years were just painful for both of them, I was so happy when it wasn’t dragged out. I enjoyed the latter part of the story and their relationship after being reunited. Their dry humor is hilarious lol. And I did not expect the steamy scenesssss!! But it was appreciated, I liked how they communicated and stuff. I did not expect Yu Fan to be a photographer though, it was a nice surprise. <<less

This made me cry y'all. It's a really good story of high school shenanigans, life and getting together. This is again one of the only danmeis which explicitly state the characters are queer, and stick by it. There are a few minor here and there issues, but honestly it's a great feel good novel. Short and sweet, and makes it's point.

Got me in the feels 🥹 this is THAT slice of life novel that got me into danmei!!

Fluff, comedy and angst packed into one novel. An engaging school life bl with loveable characters, which I would re-read just to relive all the emotions that I experienced upon this snskdjksjss piece of an art. The author portrayed raw emotions and tenderness really well, and for that I am in awe 🫶

A very good story, both sweet and tragic, with an excellent pacing. The main pairing is fascinating, while the side characters are all lifelike and likable, each adding color to the story, from the teachers down to the random hairdresser.

This was such a beautiful ass story man. I haven’t felt this much completion heartbreak since I finished reading MDZS. I loved these characters so damn much and wished for their happy ending the whole time. I went into this not really expecting a whole lot and came out with a top 5 favorite read of all time. I highly recommend everyone to read this, you won’t be disappointed.

I binge read this in two days, absolutely loved it!!

I originally thought it would just be fluff but I actually cried for some parts...

The characters are well rounded and the interactions between them well written. I like that there was so misunderstandings trope and that we could see the growth and maturing in MC. also I absolutely loved all the cute and heartfelt moments

10/10 would recommend

really enjoyed this novel and the build up to their relationship. It’s paced well and the angst comes in at just the right moments. Love their teasing and embarrassing moments, especially.

for some reason I was a bit dissatisfied with the ending and their dynamic towards the end, but that may just be me.

I just finished it and I feel weird, I feel empty. At first I thought it was gonna be like those cliché high-school novels but instead it was a very good story and the plot was very well written, their stories made me really sad, I cried multiple times but also it was sweet and funny, it made me want more and more, I couldn’t stop reading even if I wanted to. I think the Story is very lovely and the Pace is very well written.

What I like about this Story is that it is not all sweet and pink fluff, there are some dark sides too and because of that it feels more real.

Sometimes I get bored when a Story is to focused on a relationship (romance) but here I was never, not once bored or irritated with the couple. The development of their relationship felt natural.

For me it was the first time having a tsundere as a Main Protagonist and... more>> it was very funny to read about. Both of the two MC are cool, funny and sweet in their own way. I could feel the emotions, especially the pain and longing at the later Chapters T^T. The support Characters are great addition to the whole plot.

Damnnn. I laughed, I cried and It was all worth it. This novel is a gem for me. It never gets tiring reading this and the clichés here are soooo non-existent (for me). I WAS NOT PREPARED for that huge drama. Thank god I didn’t read the reviews and went by instinct becuz I would have spoiled myself and the impact of this novel would lessen (imho). It was the best experience. I mean ima Imagine going into a book thinking that you're going to see the typical main lead who is cold handsome top student and whatever and what you get is a guy who cannot write a letter to save his life. Like how are grades and helpbooks connected to you confessing your feelings. I felt for the main character doing that time but I loved it it's so good

Another nice novel from this author. The MC is your tough on the outside but soft on the inside kinda guy. He's had a rough childhood because of his deadbeat dad and it was also because of his dad that the MC and ML were separated for so many years. The ML is straightforward from the get go about his intentions towards the MC. Its funny how he pretends to be weak in front of the MC to gain his attention.
