It’s like junk food, even though it’s an average copy paste Chinese power/harem fantasy novel, I can’t stop reading. Overall the writing is average but my standards have dropped, so if you’re looking for something to waste your time with and not looking for an intricate storyline/characters, this is the novel.

Just another average chinese harem cultivation novel.

Brain rot tr*sh if I’m honest.

I gave up on it after it started really getting into the second dreamscape, the whole peerless young master pleasuring every known above average or beautiful women in that world just felt weird ngl. A little uncomfortable for me and honestly just didn’t make sense. From the way he talked about them being full on s*umbagage to no recuperations from sects with members who would obviously have higher cultivation stages than him (such as elders or any mass group... more>> of male cultivators that should have ended him).

This novel just felt s*upid to me, no offense to the author or translator just ain’t my cup of tea. H3ll even then the translator left a note in the beginning to turn your brain off.

Just started reading and... It was your usual junk food but... Quite... It gives a bad taste to my mouth.

On the dream where the MC just had "fling" with an Elder of his sect and even hundred of years later, he just thought of her like some sidechick whom he could F*CK. Like, man... I really hate men who does that.

If you want the woman, then take responsibility. If you don't, don't pick the flower. Don't treat the woman like she's nothing but a "thing" you could do whatever you... more>> please without taking responsibility.

Whenever is see men like this, and he then he speaks about true love... I have the urge to kill him brutally with my own hands. Feed his flesh to the rats and dogs while he is still breathing. Let a molten metal flow into his body. Tie him up and let him swallow a live centipede that would eat him from the inside....

You have the audacity to treat other people like a "thing" and when it happens to you, you want something genuine? F*CK those kind of people.

Just read and it let me taste sh*t...

The novel is more like an infinite reincarnation combined with daily log in system and instance novels. MC gets a system where everyday he gets a dream simulation, these dream simulation are more like parallel worlds to his current one, where each instance is like a new reincarnation, sometimes he gets a wonderful life, sometimes he gets a harsh one, and sometimes it's a dud and he gets killed right away.

As for his "wives" each simulation doesn't really end up in getting one, what happens is each simulation gets evaluated... more>> and receives rewards which are mostly techniques and cultivation and those evaluation when it gets excellent+ grade he gets to takes more rewards and something gets materialized, something like a sword, a treasure, anything connected to him get a chance to be materialized, but not only that the dream also gets shared to his dao companion/wife in that specific simulation.

As for the simulations they are as varied as it can get, but you can see it as mini stories within the novel, which is the beauty of this novel, instead of some cliche getting dragged for a thousand chapters, so everything is very fresh to read. Though I don't know that would happen in the future, especially as he gets at least one girl per simulation, but this novel right now is a great read.

This is a good entertaiment, light hearted novel. There isn't much tension or looming dread as the MC growth is always proportioned with the current power level of the area. The things that make this novel stood out above the rest is the author masterful control over pacing and characters screentime. The pacing is never too slow or too fast so you never felt bored while reading, there is always something being introduce or world building being explored without much conflict with the current setting, power creep happen slowly as... more>> the author didn't just blast the MC with more powerful enemies each time. The characters including the harem always has a screentime and not forgotten so far, in the author word himself "I would make a harem character reappear each time I feel the reader has forgotten about them" and the pace the author introduce a new character is also not too fast, it doesn't feel bloated, currently there is around 15 harem member, around 10 being from the dream while 5 is from the real world. The dream itself usually last 20 chapters each, with the shortest being the first one.

The rest of the story elements is the same as other novel of the same genre, cultivation level being the usual, the story haven't feel repetitive yet, and characterization is barely above average. Overall, a well written harem story with relaxing yet compelling world.

Note: for anyone wanting to read this and read other review about the second dreamscape about incubus, it is okay as it is the only dreamscape that is like that, the rest is better with the dream heroine is the only one the MC bang. It just the author being bold with his idea and setting up the most overbearing harem member that become keeper to keep the other harem member in line.

Overall I would say that I enjoy this novel quite a lot and the general idea of this novel is interesting. Although some jokes are overused, the comedy sometimes is quite funny and the read is easy and enjoyable. The main plot so far seem to be MC dealing with the aftereffects of his dreams, but it might change later. Basically for now there are enemies, but no some big bad or impending doom. I have to clarify some points in the synopsis so that I can properly write a... more>> review. The MC has transmigrated into a cultivation world and gets a dream system which allows him to live a virtual life in his dream twice a day.

The way the system works, it turns out, it takes real places and real people and creates a unique circumstance for them in order to insert MC into a virtual life. For example it might add MC as the youngest son to some family or the only son to someone who has no children, thus giving MC a proper virtual identity. During each dream MC will get a random ability that, as far as I can tell, does not exist in the world and can be very weak or useless or super powerful. It could be something like cultivating by wasting money or while sleeping; or it might be something like having a good business sense. Every time after MC wakes up from that virtual life he might get something from the dream, depending on how good the dream was based on the arbitrary judgement of the system. It is unclear what the judgement criteria is. He might get some cultivation level, which allows him to progress very quickly or just some talent or skill and/or an item that he used in the dream. But he never gets the unique abilities from the dream, at least so far.

In surprising turn of events it appears that people who are the closest to the MC in the dream also experience that same dream together with the MC and afterward they will remember what happened in the dream. It seems that basically only his wives in the dream will remember it afterwards and no other people involved in the dream will see it. Because it feels very real to them and they spend hundreds or thousands years together, the women all basically fall in love with the MC for real and start looking for him in the real world.

That's the base setup. Now, what I like about this. I like the idea of getting experience and learning cultivation in a dream. Just this by itself is a super cheat power and MC actually learns many techniques from dreams and the dreams also allow him to comprehend things faster. I also actually like that other people are experiencing the dream with the MC. This can be used for creating many interesting plot points. I also like the virtual dream lives. All of them were interesting and each one could be expanded into it's own cultivation novel and it would be good and dramatic. Each dream so far basically ends with MC getting mu*dered by someone and he usually struggles a lot in each dream.

What I don't really like. The frequency of dreams is too high. Getting 2 per day is way too much. In the novel most of them are pointless and he doesn't really get anything from them. This also causes a massive problem: the harem grows waaay too quickly. Before the 100 chapters were up, MC already got something like 10 wives because in some dreams he gets 2 per dream and in some 1 per dream. With the pace this is going, he will have hundreds of wives soon. In addition the women around him in reality also seem to just fall for him all the time for no reason. If the dreams happened twice a month or maybe even once a month, it would be much, much better.

Another issue is that the duration of dreams keeps getting longer and longer and it basically takes away from the main plot. After a while the dreams get all mixed up and you start forgetting what was the dream, what was his actual life and in some cases there are more chapters per dream than the chapters between dreams where MC actually does something in real life. So if the frequency of dreams is reduced to 1-2 a month, we would also get more activity from the MC in the "real world". However, the length of arcs during dreams and in reality keeps getting longer, so I don't know where it will go eventually.

One big thing that irritates me is that in this novel, like many other novels, the names of people are supposedly unique. You have multiple worlds with multiple continents in each world, billions of people and multiple families with the same last name, but it is a major part of the plot that no two people with the same full name exist. It is especially painful when his wives after waking up start searching everywhere for "Ye Yu" and there is no one else with that name in existence. It's just something that's bothering me a lot.

Another thing that I would like to change in this novel is that only the people who are friendly to MC (wives) remember the dream and are looking for MC to help him and do the snusnu every minute of every day with him. I would've liked it better if some enemies also came out and started looking for him to kill him. Oh, yea, in this novel MC regularly have concentual snusnu with a bunch of different women (usually people he had similar relations with within the dream, but not always the dream wives), if you care about that part.

Overall I would recommend giving the novel a try and see if you like it. It is a pretty nice light-reading time killer. <<less

Idk if I'll try reading it again later, but I had to stop a couple chapters in because his incarnation with incubus eyes couldn't figure out a woman, even if an enemy to him, was jealous when she became extremely upset that he had s*x with someone.

Somehow entertaining story from pretty low quality and very repetitive writing. As someone else said, it really is just like junk food, you just can't stop eating. If you are looking for a time sink, then this would suffice, but if your looking for intricate storytelling, then stay clear.

The harem is getting overly saturated. There's probably over 20 women romantically interested in him and significant enough to be a side character by the point I got to in the novel.

The novel somewhat takes two forms. One is his dream realm... more>> and one is the real world. Some aspects of the dream realm becomes a real world at the end of it, though its literally just the female lead (s) and retaining some of his powers. The dream realms are basically their own rushed short story segments, like those novels where MC goes to multiple novel worlds to fix the plot. The stories were often somewhat interesting, but the romance was often hit or miss in these.

But the worst part of the romance in this novel is how the novel is r18 but everything gets censored. Every smut scene us written as "they studied calligraphy diligently". Always something about fkn calligraphy, and it was annoying as heck. And overtime, with the harem saturation, lots of these romance / female lead interactions scenes are just the same cut of butter.

But these weren't the only annoying parts of this novel. As again, this novel is junk food. You can't stop reading as there's parts that are addicting, yet it takes an unhealthy aggravating toll on your body.

The plot forcing in this novel was very severe. Notably for the side stories. Lots of the plot events and character decisions are extremely forced in, as most developments anyone with a higher iq than a dog would've never happened, as there were many smarter ways to go about things. And this gets worse the farther you get in the novel.

The translation quality starts to drop somewhat overtime, notably where I dropped. By this point the author no longer cared to put as much effort in the story, and the writing often had more of these moments with it being more s*upid than before. The story is already littered with Chinese cliches and simple writing / plots, but it really got toned up after the harem started getting saturated, as again, almost everything is repetitive, that even the author knows.

Then there is our protagonist. He is a very simple beta arrogant Chinese protag. Yet he was still likeable at the start. But your likeness of him really starts going away the farther you read. As the protag really just boils down to a toddler face slapping arrogant incel with little to no real emotional care for others. Classic pump and dump baggage.

And yes, I get its a harem, but the author really needed some variety in this novel. It would've been good if literally not every single female lead harem character was not a 100% submissive loyal dedicated housewife sl*t that's open to getting cheated post dream death when they "reincarnate" and recall their other life. It would've been better if they were more diverse, some broke away, and others attempted to kill the other harem members.

The worse part to me in these dream simulations, is its only whoever fkd or will fk him that remembers the dream with him. No other very significant character in those side stories ever remember him. I was so depressed when his demonic brother didn't remember anything from the dream realm, cause why the fk would the author write a relevant male side character??? He was such a Chad, so it was really annoying. This applies to his masters and parents in the dream realm too. I really wish some other people remember him rather than just solely the harem members.

But now comes the worst fkn part of the whole novel, and that is the balancing. It was utterly horribly downright fkn atrocious. There's a rarity right system to what dream he gets, but this is downright meaningless if every single dream he gets every other day is the world's most heaven defying talent pull that let's him become god so easily he can do whatever the fk he wants. His cultivation power jumps aren't anywhere near helping. And how op his character is ruins all else. He can literally kill people 4-5 realms above him, easily at that, with no struggle or crisis. There is never a sense of crisis despite the frequent occurance of death scenarios. And the repetitiveness and cliches of hero saving the beauty doesn't help either.

I really feel like I should give this a 2 but its interesting enough that I read almost 200 chaps, so I have a 3. But for suggesting to read, I do not. Its just downright too repetitive. It'd be better time spent for you to look for other novels to hopefully find a gem. <<less

This novel is good have many comedy, romance, drama.

If you guys want to read this novel I must warn you that MC has IQ and EQ below average in a way it make the story more interesting and more frustating in another way, if you find out the MC disgusting please preserve until 40+ chapter it will became interesting

The MC indirectly has reality warping powers. He starts out as a regular member of an orthadox cultivation sect and is rather unsatisfied with his life. He suddenly awakens his golden finger which involves revolving through various samsaras and then is rewarded with a technique, an item, or a combination of such depending on the outcome of the dream. The system's rules seem pretty lax and it's purpose is hard to dissern. At least, it seems so at first. But later on it becomes clear: MC is primarily being taught... more>> how to deal with various dual-cultivation related techniques, physiques, and treasures. Perhaps the system's intention is to train MC to be some kind of giga chad 'heavenly Dao's gift to female cultivators'? Ironically, although the main focus of the stories is about s*x and relationships, it's usually written in an euphemistic way. This isn't an 18+ story.

In a normal story, the items and skills provided by a system just appear and nobody cares why. But this story seeks to explore and explain such a phenomnia, and plot out the consequences of such external meddling by an all powerful system. The outcome of his dreams change the world around him much to his chagrin. Many of his successful dreams involve being a demonic cultivator or utilizing some of kind unorthadox cultivation technique, usually revolving around dual-cultivation. By chapter 18 he

dreamed a full grown child into existence. That is to say, he dreamed of being in realationship with the child's mother, they had a child together, then he wakes up. In the real world, he hasn't met the woman in question, nor has the woman had any relationships with any men, yet instantly a 3 year old girl appeared next to her that she suddenly remembers is her own daughter.

The more he dreams, the more women he meets and falls in love with, the more these real women become aware of his existence, and ultimately try to seek him out in order to figure out just what the heck is going. The key point here isn't that they just have some vague understanding of the MC existing, but they specifically remember the entire dream themselves. This means that if the MC and the girl 'live for 800 years', the female now has future-knowledge of events and she can (and does) act on it since inevitably, nearly all the women the MC get involved with are powerful cultivators.

But its not as simple as finding him. In the dreams, he becomes a slightly different person, with different inate constitutions, cultivation levels, backgrounds and so on. A great game of cat and mouse begins: the MC blunders through the world, messing things up in his dreams, gaining random abilities, powers, and items while the women he's influenced begin to hunt him down and change the world based on the future-knowledge they have acquired through him.

ultimately this is a pretty standard wishfullillment type story. It's not terrible, and it's pretty good for what it is... but what it is, is niche. If you ever dreamed of being fawned upon by a harem of crazy yandere women, this is the story for you... <<less
