My husband and I were killed by the righteous male lead.

Because we were the evil villains.

Then, we were reincarnated, returning to twenty years ago.

Looking at the young male lead dying in the mountain forest, we exchanged a glance.

My husband asked, “Should we kill him now while we have the chance?”

I hesitated, “He has the protagonist’s halo, we probably can’t kill him, right?”

My husband grumbled, “So we just stand here and watch the Martial Arts Alliance Leader save him? And then wait for him to come back and kill us both?”

I said, “Well, it’s not like it’s our first time robbing something. How about this time… we steal a person instead?”

And so, caught between turning good and continuing our evil ways, we chose to raise the child instead.

Crimson translation just *chef kiss*. Their translation always of high quality, funny, emotional and unique story that I didn't even need to read the synopsis.

It will definitely be good enough. So if you tired of dog blood plot, transmigration or any heavy story. Just spend some time and ready any of crimson translation work.

The story itself is very2 cute. I love their family relationship

Cute read. It took about 20-30 minutes. Despite the synopsis, this novel differentiates itself from other 'reincarnated couple rescues ML' trope novels because the 'villain couple' doesn't really do much besides rescue the ML. In fact, they actually go as far as to supress him so that they don't die under his sword again. Of course, these actions come off more as tsundere than evil.

Super fun read featuring a blended family. No misunderstandings or angst.

Charming, clever, and unexpectedly moving, this short story leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended.

The story takes a hilarious premise—two infamous villains adopting the future righteous hero—and turns it into something both funny and genuinely touching.

The villainous couple, while keeping their chaotic personalities, show surprising tenderness toward their adopted son. Their style of parenting is rough around the edges—sometimes hilariously so—but deeply sincere. Pang Ya, especially, is a riot.

I loved how the story blurs the lines between good and evil without feeling heavy. The villains aren’t pure monsters, and the future... more>> “hero” isn’t immune to the influence of love and loyalty. These complexities make the characters feel real and relatable.

The writing balances humor with emotional depth. The pacing is brisk without feeling rushed, and the plot neatly weaves character growth with external conflicts. There are laugh-out-loud moments—particularly whenever the villains try (and fail) to act like “proper” parents—but also quiet, poignant scenes where their bond shines through.

It’s a short read, so don’t expect deep world-building, but for what it is, it’s clever, fast-paced, and memorable. Highly recommended for fans of found family, moral ambiguity, and a lot of heart. <<less

Absolute peak

The story is about a couple who’ve regressed back in time and chosen to adopt their future killer. It’s a solid story with amazing world building for example the author explains the reason they became bandits but also doesn’t completely vilify the government since it’s natural they don’t have enough manpower due to the natural disasters in the recent years. Although the bandits rob for survival and are soft hearted to the extent that even if the bandit camp doesn’t have food they allow starving and miserable strangers to... more>> join, they don’t think what they’re doing is justified. The extras are a must read. <<less
