I found myself reincarnated as the villain in a game called “Kaleido Lily Academy.” The villain in question—Ix Vandille, the heir of the Count’s family—was a typical s*umbag. Hated by many, he was condemned and killed in every scenario set in the academy. At this rate, I would die as soon as I entered the academy.

However, my bad reputation knew no bounds, and it was too late to reform myself now. Therefore…

“That’s it! If I become stronger than the protagonists and show them my power, they won’t dare to oppose me…!”

To avoid being killed by the protagonists, I must become stronger than them. If I display my power, they won’t think of making a move against me. And if they do, I will just defeat them. With this resolve, Ix spent the three years before the academy began training desperately.

“…Master, your strength is unmatched by anyone your age now.” “Hahaha! This is all due to my perseverance!”

Ix became stronger than the protagonists. And soon, he began to show his strength to the protagonists, the heroine princess, noble daughters, and saintesses… but for some reason, he started being regarded as a hero.

It's neither particularly bad nor particularly good. The expected clichés are all here and the MC has a high-level plot-armor.

There's one thing that is a bit different: the original protagonist seems to think the MC is the protagonist of the story somehow and, basically, leaves everything to him.

Anyway, it's mostly lighthearted and the MC and other characters are pretty funny; not the kind that makes you laugh out loud, but the kind to keep you smiling while reading.

I was a bit disappointed when the author stopped writing after part 1... more>> because it felt like a rushed ending with so many things left untold, but thankfully, part 2 is here.

So, I'll recommend it as a brainless fun read. <<less
