Good read. In line with the intro but not 100%. MC, Xie Yunnan, marries ML, Duan Changqing, to get out of a bad situation. ML is somewhat simple even though he is several hundreds of years old. He has good feelings and falls for MC first. Their relationship is smooth without much angst.

The feel of the novel is like Stone Age Husband Raising Journal but the world building isn't as good since the world building in this novel isn't detailed enough.

MC lives in the poor (fringe) part of the city. His adopted grandpa found him in a river when he was a baby. Raised by his grandpa, he worked as a car mechanic. MC is a truly nice person so he would help others when he could.

At the start of the novel, MC was attacked by man who thought MC was his love rival. However, MC didn't even have any special feelings for that person, Liao Muye. But for some strange reason, LM shows an interest in him.

It turns out that LM was reborn and wanted to change the future. He wanted to steal MC's future accomplishments. Somehow, MC was able to see the future and his death if he maintained his amical with LM's cousin. So he distanced himself and happened to notice ML floating in the river. MC rescued ML, which resulted in a big change from the previous life.

In the previous life, ML had transmigrated into the body for only a short time. That body ended up in the woods and indirectly caused exotic beasts to attack MC's city. However, MC saved ML in this life and nursed him back to good health. Later, LM did some other stuff that caused more deviations that were positive for MC. In the end, MC reconnected with his birth parents and married ML.

I loved the novel!! Very sweet and fluffy!! A must reread, especially when you want something hilariously fluffy with a smooth journey!

So far, this is one of the most entertaining novels I've ever read! Its tone is light, unserious, fluffy and absolutely hilarious! Doesn't take much of your brain to read it, with a very light and happy tone throughout, yet it never once felt boring! I literally read through this within two days! (one, if it weren't for me reading this late in the afternoon and having to go to bed early TvT) This is probably one of my little regrets, I finished it too quickly! But I can honestly... more>> tell you that it means this thing is like real good, so good you can't help but immerse yourself and forget the hours while reading.

The extras are also super entertaining, and I absolutely love it! By the way, the MC is Duan Changqing, the original author explicitly stated it in jjwxc. You might think the MC is Xie Yunnan, but nope! The author likes to split the POV around (hence the tag, 'multiple POV'), that's why.

Oh and one more thing, DCQ is the gong, and XYN is the shou! The author also explicitly stated that in the synopsis at jjwxc. But if you didn't check, you'll be able to figure it out late in the novel! In the extras, I think? Yep!

Overall, the plot is super interesting and very entertaining, involving the ML inheriting strange memories out of nowhere, depicting the future. With our MC, being from another world and transmigrated twice! One in some cultivation world, and one in the world where the ML lives! With another side character, Liao Muye (I think?), being reborn and attempting to have a better life while tr*shing our ML, unsuccessfully. His and MLs past is a little more explained in the extras, so look forward to that!

There's some weird, almost dubious thing that happened in the first extra, but hold on! Listen to this! It's not dubcon at all! To give you context (might be a spoiler, but I don't want you dropping at the extras!) : The first part of the extras depicted ML and MCs past life (where the MC unsuccessfully transmigrated into the High Priest's body and had to switch to another body, which is an infant), the ML and MC has some serious external age-gap. But don't worry, they don't get together where MC is a child physically. Only when he got older, also, the MC behaved very s*upidly, like a fool. But he's very aware in his head! He didn't purposefully act like a fool, of course. But it's because of his, consciousness or spiritual qi, xianxia thing being damaged (forgive me, I forgot- and I don't usually pay attention to xianxia kinda terms), so basically... he couldn't control his body, and it only acted on instinct. But he still has some control (which strengthens later on), that all his inner thoughts/feelings will be subconsciously acted upon by his foolish self.

Anyway, that's enough of the spoilers, but it's just to give you a gist!

So, for the rating I'm giving this novel, I belive it deserves a 5/5! It's super goofy, hilarious, light and fluffy type of novel that you can reread multiple times! (Planning to reread again later) trust me, you won't be disappointed! Also for the people that dropped this novel because of 'racist' kinda stuff. I honestly don't see where the 'racist stuff' is!

They used the term Ghetto, sure, but I don't think that's racist at all??? It's just a term for "a part of a city, in which members of a minority group are concentrated" AND based on the context, the 'minority' group is just the people who have weak animal companions or none!

As for the continents and countries mentioned in the novel to somewhat describe the environment of the place the ML lived in, I don't think the author intended to come out as racist??? It's was just written like 'the place/environment here is similar to this and that country from MCs original world' unless I remember it wrong or interpret it wrong?

Anyway, there's an earlier review which better explained the 'racist' part.

But enough of that stuff, this novel is super goofy, really good and I highly recommend for a light read! Its the stuff you can finish within a day or a week (depending on your reading speed/style), and feel all warm and fluffy inside! <<less

This is an underrated fluffy novel. It doesn't take too many brain cells to read it. But this is good, you just need to remember the names because there are a lot.

MC didn't transmigrate, he just saw a glimpse of his future. ML transmigrated and this is the second time.

The synopsis was a little bit boring. But the novel is totally amazing, beyond everything.

I don't have that much expectations when I read this novel. But hell yeah, this one got me hooked up pretty badly.

The romance between MC and ML is so cute, fresh, and comforting. If you think about it, their relationship progress was a bit fast, but of course you wouldn't realize it until you finished the whole chapters. Even though they got married pretty quick, but I feels like their romance was developed very well. It's... more>> feels fast, but also slow. I love it so much.

The conflict was a bit complicated, I might say. But when they added the romance between the romance, I feel so soft for them. Their romance is truly comforting. <<less
