Zhu Mo, a wealthy young miss, suddenly gained the ability to hear the thoughts of her deskmate. To her shock, she discovered:

——Her deskmate was a transmigrator!

This was an old-school campus romance novel. The male lead was her cold and aloof childhood friend, and the female protagonist was the new transfer student.

As for her? She was the vicious supporting character!

In the original storyline, she deeply loved the male lead and, out of jealousy towards the female protagonist, kidnapped her. In the end, she was abandoned by everyone and ended up in prison.

Zhu Mo: ‘…?’

Zhu Mo, who had an almost obsessive love for ‘gentleness,’ quickly withdrew her favour for the male lead and turned her attention to the sunny female protagonist.

When the female protagonist first entered their class and the only remaining seat was the seat next to the male lead, Zhu Mo stepped forward——

The horrified transmigrator: ‘What, is the supporting female character making her move already!?’

Zhu Mo grabbed the female protagonist’s wrist and said, “You can sit with me.”

The transmigrator: ‘?’

When the poor female protagonist was mocked and bullied by the male lead’s followers at the elite school, Zhu Mo stepped forward with a cold expression——

The bully smirked. “Zhu Mo’s here, you’re done for!”

Zhu Mo pushed the bully aside and shielded the female protagonist. “She’s under my protection.”

The bully: ‘??’

Under the transmigrator’s suspicious gaze, Zhu Mo continued to act out of character. She took the male lead’s role and left him with nothing to do.

Until the female protagonist invited her to study at her home, where Zhu Mo met the female protagonist’s older brother——

The third male lead of the novel.

A holy father-like figure who was even gentler and kinder than the female protagonist!

The holy father-like older brother was pure and clean. He exuded a gentle aura from the inside out.

Zhu Mo became infatuated with his gentleness and confessed her feelings to him, but was rejected.

She tried to imprison him, but he forgave her.

Zhu Mo felt ashamed and decided to let him go. However, when she was invited to his home for a gathering——

The gentle holy father-like man, with trembling fingers, locked the door. His amber eyes darkened with an inscrutable emotion…

The original storyline was destroyed completely, and Zhu Mo disappeared. The sunny female protagonist, the yandere male lead, and the transmigrator all suspected each other of hiding Zhu Mo. Meanwhile, the holy father-like older brother from the novel slowly tightened his embrace around Zhu Mo and sighed in her ear.

“Are you thinking of leaving me?”

Yeah I'm not the demographic for this. I kind of don't mind yandere But I don't actually like it. I will accept a very light version if it's really reasonable. So I guess from the description, I should have expected it to be actually realistic so I should have avoided this novel but I didn't...

First things first is that I drop this novel because I honestly I don't think it's going to get better. My opinion is that the writing is not good enough. Besides the fact that I don't... more>> like serious yandere, I think the writing is not good enough. Why? You can see the hand of the plot too obviously.

    • She befriended the original female lead because she thought it was ridiculous that she would ever kidnap her and she wanted to prevent her herself from doing that
    • So even though you see that from the description she does end up kidnapping her older brother, I thought it was like a comedic thing and it wouldn't happen but it did.
    • And I thought it would not be as serious but it was like she was really mentally unwell to the degree it's uncomfortable for me to read
    • But that doesn't make sense because she didn't want to get there but she got there because why of course......
      Spoiler

She has this Uncle who eventually gone to drugs and then kidnapped her and was willing to kill her and obviously had a gun scene and of course the older brother was there to protect her so she associates comfort with him and then the misunderstanding that she learns from her friend who is the female lead that her older brother likes someone else so then she like doesn't seek therapy even though she already had a therapist and already had a psychologist. But for some reason after the gun shooting no one pushes her to do that and no one tells her to go to her therapist.... And she doesn't seek help... And then eventually leads her too of course logically kidnap the person she wants..

      [collapse]
    • But that's not logical. That's a very intentional sequence of events that the author wrote to make it logical that she would kidnap him. And it's very obvious that would happen. They tried to be like you know what would make her want to kidnap himself traumatized even more so she doesn't get therapy and so then she gets really dark and then she gets a misunderstanding so then she kidnaps him
    • It's not being pushed by the characters.. It just feels like the hand of plot is too obvious... So in my opinion that means the writing is not good enough because the way she gets so extreme... Makes me think like even though she already had trauma.... It wasn't I don't think that written well enough for her to justify this jump and only because of this extreme plot that prefaced this kidnapping did the author make sense of her doing this but for me I think it's ooc
I don't think it's extremely ooc of her but I do think I don't like it because I don't think it feels natural to the characters. It feels like the author wants to write yandere so the author made sure that the novel went that way not that the characters actually were described and explained enough to be like that. Do you get what I'm saying? And I think I'm reading from the other reviews, I also don't understand why the older brother would kidnap her... From the description as well.... So it just makes me think there's something OOC going on with this writing. if I can't find it justifiable that she kidnapped the older brother, then I don't know how they will be able to justify the older brother kidnapping her.. but then again I didn't read the whole novel so maybe it does make sense ? Idk. I feel like she has the most predisposition for yandere but even then I don't think she would have been this bad to she kidnapped him and imprison him this way..... The way in which she kept him made me feel like so ooc more than just kidnapping. even though it's not like crazy... It just doesn't feel like her. It really is extreme for her personality even if she obviously was like going really dark or something and possessive. But it just felt like we were not being led by her personality to be like that but just that her personality suddenly switched like that. it just didn't make sense to me. And so I'm uncomfortable with it because it doesn't feel like her. also I don't like it... She's is being very like rude like not even just the kidnapping like it could have been funny even... Or it could have been like sweet... But it actually was kind of uncomfortable to read. Like
Spoiler

she's like worried about him finding out that it's her or whatever and like oh if he takes off the blind fold and he knows it's going to be me.... But it's like SoOC because she's supposed to be smart so she knows that like obviously he called her name out and just because she decided not to use her boys like.. You think that it's going to convince him that his initial impression was wrong? Why do you think he didn't take off his blindfold? That's because either he was afraid or he knew it was her already. Like I just think she's not acting smart. The fact that she was like I didn't tell my bodyguard to chain him up but then she was afraid that he would leave and so then she kept him chained up until he had to ask her and then like she was even willing to like help her help him like pee and stuff like this girl s*upid. Generally I am sorry but like I will take yandere but I will not take s*upid. And there's just not enough evidence or foreshadowing or backing for her change in intellect and like this intense extreme emotional disregard for him. Like she probably is in the brought of like if I had to justify it then I could but I don't think I should justify it as the reader.... I feel like it should be justified to me by the author and it's not being justified enough to be honest. I'm just trying to make sense of it.

I think she's humiliating him in a way and harassing him I mean like you like literally hugging him without it is permission and then like kissing him without his permission that's s*xual harassment. Like feeding him water with her mouth like girl... If you were a guy you would be so bad like why would we root for you..

[collapse]
I'm sorry also like it's one thing to be yandere but then it's also another thing to to sexually harass someone because like let's be honest she did kiss him without his permission that is s*xual harassment. And I'm not okay with that. I just thought this was going to be like a silly book and that's my problem. And it's not that extreme to be honest but I just think the personality changed doesn't make sense and I never thought she was going to be like that. So I don't like it. I don't think it's like extreme at all but it's just not for me and does it make sense to me. <<less

The story isn’t perfect, but they gave me so much butterflies in my stomach, I had to take a break because I physically felt my stomach ache 😭🤣

Between making both characters kind, yandere, but not toxic or dark co-dependent vibes, the balance was striked so well. Give them their stars!!!!!!!!

That was satisfying! The OG novel was your typical old school campus love story. But what if a supporting character is a transmigrator? And her inner voice can be heard by the OG "villainous" second female lead? Now that's interesting.

The novel was indeed interesting. It really has the typical brainless fans set in a campus story where the supposedly FL, who's a sunshine, was bullied and so on. However, what made this interesting is the plot twist. Plus the FL was also an interesting character. It was then made hilarious... more>> because of the transmigrator.

About the romance, oh boy. It was dark and obsessive mutually.
Spoiler

First, when the FL wasn't in the right state of mind, she acted very obsessed with the ML by kidnapping him. Meanwhile, the ML indulged her. Then they separated for some reason. Fast forward, the FL came back more maturely and the ML has more power. But this time, it was the ML who kidnapped the FL and acted very obsessed and possessive of her. This time, the FL was also very indulgent of him. And here it comes, THE DAMN s*xual TENSION!!! I'm telling you all, the author was very good at creating an ambiguous and tense atmosphere. It wasn't directly implied but it was more sensual than when it is implied. The FL and ML were sometimes both shy or proactive. Ohh, I really love their obsession with each other.

[collapse]
In short, the romance was filled with obsession and possessiveness to the point of kidnapping and stalking. But it doesn't matter. Since neither of them cheated, then both of them are green flags lol.

Another thing is the supporting characters. They're not bad and are funny. In fact, with FL's cold nature, the narrative will be slightly boring without them.

Overall, I love reading it. It was kinda dark but pure at the same time. 10/10. <<less

FL personality was very likable and how she turned the tables based on only listening to transmigrators thought is super hilarious and funny.... her chemistry and plot scenes with FL are breathe of spring and adds a special nostalgic touch to story and romance. ML truly loves FL and is also possessive for her as she is of him..... a story which is worthwhile to read in your boring time

The synopsis explained it all. It's OG novel with FL (Zhu Mo) as OG vicious villaness able to hear mental voice of her deskmate (transmigrator).

The leads were both flawed in their own ways especially with their possessiveness & obsession. They were kind of people who exaggerated actions bc of decisiveness but low EQ (due to traumas) & didn't know to put in words lol. If one of them was sane, the relationship won't work but both were yandere so it worked to indulge each other.

The supporting characters were also... more>> good. Lin Xi (transmigrator) was initially annoying but later on comedic lol. With FL's attitude being cold, the strange phenomena of hearing other's voice in head started to make friends, experience life & feel certain emotions.

I think the separation was needed... It was just briefly mentioned but FL able to seek professional help & able to come with her feelings (her love for ML was not just bc of ingrained preferences (gentle guy) by adults that she observed during her childhood) <<less

I like the FL, ML, secondary characters and the story. Li Xin is hilarious and I could totally relate to how she behaved, I would do the same! The oriFL and oriML were also ok characters but not as exciting to read about. The original FL at least had more spunk however the original ML honestly was kinda a jerk.

I just wished that the two leads had actually interacted more before being crazy in love with each other. The author described the FLs background and personality really well and so... more>> we can see why she fell so fast for him but we got limited background for the ML. So, although the FL had the predisposition of going yandere, the ML didn’t seem like the kind of person who would go bat sh*t crazy the way he did towards the end. Finally, maybe it’s just me but I don’t like long separations. I’m glad they were really into each other which made things spicy. <<less

It's a beautiful story, actually.

Made me cry non-stop for an hour ;-;

BUT, I think my expectations were a lil high after reading the description, so the story was kinda underwhelming for me in the end...

I guess I was hoping for more interactions between the leads.

Great short story.

But I think what's weird is that often times, male lead just disappears. Not very fun, because the focus of this story is romance.

Would I read it again? I don't think so. But still, was great.

Would definitely recommend reading !
