His talent is bad but MC works hard and has a proficiency panel, so every effort is rewarded.

He is also relatively low-key, but is not a hikimori (XD)

It's slow-paced, but starts getting faster when he becomes a wizard, but he continues his knight cultivation because it's powerful.

The best about this is seeing the skills improve and get added to the panel, it just scratches that part of the brain

Red mtl/raws till end and this is trully a high quality work. I am writting this after half a year of reading final chapter.

At some point every chapters was packed with words around 10k chinesse characters every day and with some quality at that, while some novels have chapters with 2k to 4k that feel like waste of time because they may repeat the same thing again and again or just do one meaningful thing in a whole chapter and eveything else is just for the sake of word count.... more>> On the other hand, these 10k chapters are packed with action or smth crucial for the story.

Personally, I like novels where MC cheat is proficiency panel that allows slow and steady improvement with MC also being smart and careful makes his developement much more reasonable and consistent with his character as story progresses, plus combination of wizard and knight, found it enjoyable tracking MC bloodlines developement and other abilities as well.

Amazing job at proggresion felt just right amount of fast paced, and as progression becomes harder time skips were introduced keeping the reader engaged.

Another amazing job at fleshing the world out, never felt new info as info dump that will forgotten after a few chapters.

Romance was done in line with MC character, as he was steady developing it was quite troublesome to associate with a female that will not keep up and simply die of old age, so he waited until his own strenght allowed 'allways on alert of danger mode' to end, and right partner. Felt reasonable and appropriate

MC does an excellent job at keeping grudges, and the way he sneakily takes revenge using his abilities, again in line with MC character because enemies may have organization or father/grandfathers/ancestors that can be kill him easily so he had to be careful.

Quite complex novel in terms of different cultivation systems, friendly organization from multiple worlds, his own allies/subordinated from multiple world, enemy organizations from multiple worlds, and many many names of characters, even had a Text Document with everything to remind myself, but I think this adds to the novel instead of being smth detrimental, because complexity is added gradually and never felt like an info dump. Even with all this author is consistent with skills and numbers that he present, at some level it fell that he is really invested to make something great rather than simply empty word count.

Unique in many ways, starting from his own proficiency panel progression for his knight and wizard paths and other few paths, skills for side proffesion, plus the panel itself develops as MC becomes stronger. Author wrote conflicts very well, without spoiling at some point it felt overwhelming it seemed that MC and wizard will really die due to both internal and multiple external problems.

Liked it very much that wizards at high level were very united and avoided infighting troupe, still some trouble at mid-upper level

The origin of his panel is also explained closer to the end, also unique rather than usual world will gifted all this powers, also the reason why MC knight path developed the way it developed

Good side characters, some of them helped MC while he was weak, after MC started to become stronger he offered support back and while they did not match his rate of growth they alse became pretty strong.

Inconsistencies with mtl translation more often in naming MC is Levi or Li Wei, but bloodlines, power levels, organisation, title of strong ones are consistent. Cannot say anything about real translation.

Seem like author answered all the questions that arrised accross whole novel, conflicts were also resolved, and I do not recall anything left in limbo.

For me it felt like a great read, worth rereading. <<less

The magic system is exceptionally well-polished. The cheat is similar to WMW in some sense, so I knew what to expect when reading the novel. Truly, the author does take plenty of notes from WMW, where the MC begins modestly and ascends to the top with slow, deliberate care, always thinking twice before acting and remaining focused on the goal of becoming a magician. Following the introduction of the early arc, the magical world reveals itself as both ruthless and fair.

Unlike some novels where characters undergo drastic personality shifts, or... more>> their cheat is just never used again, this is not the case here; the MC in this story maintains a steadfast, careful, and methodical approach to becoming stronger, and is not ashamed to use his cheat to go up higher. This narrative doesn't have unnecessary elements – there is no fluff, no romance, and no mercy. The reading experience would have been even better if I hadn't had to deal with MTL. <<less

Relatively decent modern novel, enough to reach the B-tier standards in your typical S-F scaling system. Unfortunately it's also a victim of Qidians new westernization initiative, meaning things such as names of characters and places, sometimes even occupations and realms of power have been changed to "more attract larger audience of readers". This by itself wouldn't necessarily be completely negative thing, but due the way it's handled; poorly using unreliable automatized programs, the end result is a travesty.

In the garbage translation for example, names, even main characters name, will occasionally... more>> switch between the westernized "Levi" and the original Li Xiu. The surnames are also subject to constant changes and range from Snyder or Schneck, Snechk Sneck etc. Other ridiculous variations. This in addition to the already sub-par translation (and the usual shenanigans such as watermaking and fake release baiting) make reading the story incredibly more straining for your mind. Frankly it's pretty annoying clusterf*ck, quickly closing in on MTL levels on the annoyance scale.

It's shame too, since the story by itself, and the way author executes it, is actually pretty interesting. Sure, the world building isn't anything overly grand and the plot couldn't be described as anything glorious, but it's still very entertaining as a entry level "typical webnovel" quality work. Main characters decisions are human and rational, the people around him; both antagonists and neutral allies alike are all rather "acceptable" and their lives, including their actions, don't really just cheaply revolve around the MC. This is where I feel the author managed to thrive.

Generally speaking I would probably give this a score of four out of five stars, but with everything that's going on I feel like 3.75 would be more fair. I'll make it three stars here due to the limitations of the grading system. <<less
