This is a slow burn, a traditional fantasy story with orcs and goblins, swords and sorcery. The MC starts off as a below average person: illiterate, orphaned, forced to do unpaid child labor. He gains a really powerful ability from a stone, but lacks the necesary life experience and education to take full advantage of it. This is a story about struggling, trying, failing, and growing. Today's friend might be tomarrow's enemy, and an inconseqential side character might grow into someone to pay attention to. People often die and disapear as well, there isn't much plot armor going around in this story.
