!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS NOVEL IS NOT A MODERN WORLD GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT DOESN'T LOSE OUT TO LORD OF THE MYSTERIES OR OTHER TOP NOVELS if you can get through the first 20-80 CHAPTERS!!! Other people's reviews there are testament to that. My other reviews are as well.

It's a decent novel. Both plot, character and humour wise. The MC's cute sister is a big bonus. No cliches. I particularly enjoy character speeches, they flow smoothly. I regret discovering this gem only now. The more I read the more I am falling in love with everything... more>> in it.

There's also a worse novel (or so I have heard) in the same genre named Kungfu Beyond the World (descriptions are pretty similar). Maybe the genre is going to be a new trend, who knows? :)

The novel gives the vibes of The Way of the Devil, The First Order and Mystical Journey, but also resembles the setting of The Dawn of a New Era. Basically, MC travels back in time to a world that looks awfully similar to our modern world, even MC is thoroughly convinced that he landed in a parallel world as the events unfold in pretty much the same way as in his past life except the martial arts thingy. MC is your usual modern day dude, at the start even somewhat bullying his sister, and his behaviour and train of thought reflect the 30 years of life he has spent in times of peace-- a peaceful mindset.

But. There are two buts. One is - why are the important govt/company positions held by martial artists? The second one - MC gets a unique system. Third-- wait what, didn't you say there are only two buts?!

Spoiler

Initially, MC thinks that martial artists are just that - more or less for show since they don't stand a chance against modern weapons anyway. He plans to climb the social ladder though, and thus the journey with martial arts begin. And then he realises he couldn't be more wrong. Martial artists are basically super humans; heroes, who sacrifice their lives to protect Earth and hide the truth from general population so that they can live in a fake peace.

The existence of martial artists has a cause. He learns the world is actually connected to another vast backward world! There are strong beasts, but also human civilizations. And the thing is: the inhabitants of the mentioned world are trying to invade the modern world. The martial arts didn't die out in the past but have been developed and promoted instead due to the threat. Every few years a new dimension portal appears and modern humans are barely managing to fend off the other world's martial artists and armies because they have to divide their manpower even further, build defense fortresses and station fighters there. The apocalypse looms as it gets worse and worse to the point that some dimension defense points are wiped out, grandmasters do what they can to destabilize the lost dimension transfers to buy time, government pushes new reforms to create more combat martial artists, drops confidentiality bit by bit while academies, military and sects recruit more and more people while lowering the bar (at the start of the novel academies were sending only Peak Rank-3s to the other world and teengaers below that rank weren't in the know; at the time MC hits Rank-3, newly ascended Rank-2s elites are already educated, trained and being sent there). The novel plays on morals, because there's no right or wrong. Both worlds fight for their safety, benefits and power. And factions, while more or less united, have different mindsets about how to tackle problems: some think merging both worlds would save humanity, others want to thoroughly separate them. Everyone comes to different answers and fight for what they think is right.

[collapse]

It's not like any other novel where characters are omniscient and omnipotent. Even with the system, even with insane progress or carefulness, MC's still a greenhorn. He starts as a frog in a well and makes mistakes like any other guy who does something for the first time. He makes rational realistic choices which often result in logical, even somewhat plain developments. But the more he grows, the more badass he gets.
Spoiler

They look plain because in this novel there are other prodigies who have much bigger MC halo than the MC himself. They too have their lucky encounters and secrets. Nobody starts as a war god. They have to grow and mature to become one. It takes time to outgrow other geniuses even with cheat. He's only a human and so are other characters of his age. Even if they have theoritical knowledge or are prodigies in their environments, it doesn't mean they know how to put it to a good use or can become commanders straight off the bat. Rank-9 powerhouses have learnt the other world's language only a little and mapped only a small piece of their total lands in decades. Rank-6 and up have their own flaws, weaknesses and often sacrifice themselves for humanity. MC's cheat can't escape the eyes of grandmasters either. MC also needs to gain experience to know how to act and fight, money to speed up cultivation with his system, obtain techniques to be strong, or equipment that can save his life. He treasures his life so he learns a technique that would let him escape if he can't win. The system doesn't even teach him how to use the system and he has to figure it out himself and sometimes meets with a mishap that could cost him becoming braindead or crippled.

[collapse]

People who complain that first 20-80 chapters are slow and they skip the text... dudes, the author sets the whole world's background, side characters' depth and MC's baby steps in there. Hundreds of chapters later all these characters are still relevant to the story! Even the first MC's dead enemy left a strong impression on MC's growth (MC sometimes remembers of that enemy and reflects on his mistakes, compares that situation to others etc). It is slow but the further you are in the story the more fast-paced and thrilling blood-boiling action there is and it makes so much more f sense and gives so much more satisfaction only because the author spent so much time in the early stages.

I can pinpoint only one thing this novel screwed up: the unnecessary occassional nationalism in the first 70 chapters. Probably not intentional by author, so far it seems more like the stereotypes Chinese believe about other countries. It's not extreme. There's also no involvement with other Earth nations, no racism or fascism either.

Spoiler

The author first shows us a fight of two grandmasters: Google and Chinese CEOs and the Chinese one is shown in better colours.

Then we have "fastfood" used for jokes, but the author just had to write "white-people fastfood" twice or thrice! There's mention of China too. He drops that "white-people" soon after, but the fastfood (loved by his younger sister) is still being antagonized and ends up in a situation where his parents confiscate his sister's junk food because they thought it's the reason why she has no appetite and said that she should eat rice instead!

Also, there was no English test: this subject fell under the music and art category. If we want to be subjective, we could assume that it means English is inferior to Han language.

Fret not! Later on he drops company names such as Google or whatever, doesn't mention white-people at all, China doesn't appear at all either - is called Sino Nation so that's good.

Still, the author does add occassionaly a sentence of similar stuff, e.g. he made MC rebuke his friend that "Christmas is a foreigner's festival, what's there to celebrate." When his martial artist friends are dejected during Valentine's Day, he tries to cheer them up saying the same.. Oh, there's also a parapgraph mention about Sino being a good nation because they don't coerce lower ranked martial artists or civilians to create powerhouses and give fair chances to everyone, unlike India that focuses on g*ooming selected elite powerhouses xD

But that's pretty much everything. The chapters are super long, so if he throws such sentence once every 50 chapters you might not even not notice it

Just like many other WN out there this starts out on a promising note and then starts to slowly devolve into nonsensical story telling. The major flaws are:

  1. The MC starts out being afraid of death and then suddenly starts killing people left and right. I understand the whole concept of "I am afraid of dying so I will kill you first". But then the OP is no longer afraid of death rather he is too OP to be able to kill everyone.
  2. I normally don't care for romance or female characters in a WN. Most of these novels are written for male teenagers. So the female cliche in WN is the "cold beauty". This novel can't even muster that cliche. It is instead a sausage feast. Female characters are added to get "hit on the chest" by the MC (which btw is like a long running joke and gets unfunny and old). One female character does nothing other than pining after the MC.
Some might not like the first 100-200 chapters as the story builds up. But for me those were the golden good chapters. By chapter 250 you start to see a pattern. MC fools someone to make money -> upgrade -> fight -> people are amazed -> fool people, get rich -> upgrade -> fight -> people are amazed... you... more>> get the picture. <<less

To me, this novel is a good novel for 2 reasons,

  1. The MC feels like an actual person, he is afraid of death and injury and acts like a normal person seeing things like death for the first time
  2. MC is not completely overpowered, his system only really helps with cultivation making it faster, where I am at now
I made an account just for this novel so people can actually see the good about it

A training wheels (system) based novel following a shameless and greedy protagonist. There appears to be a prologue or something missing as our protagonist is supposed to be a transmigrator/reincarnator but we have no idea how he died or who he was in his previous life or anything. I'm not sure if the novel is supposed to have a comedic undertone as sometimes it seems like some chapters are going for that tone but it honestly falls flat for me.

Cultivation - Very weak. Everyone is a pill popping body cultivator.... more>> There are no different types of cultivation and so far there has been no dao or anything like that. If you don't want to read about honing bones then you'll hate it. Essentially, everyone must spend loads of money to pop pills if they want to get anywhere, talent is far less important than money in this novel.

Combat - Basic. It's understandable which is a plus but the novel doesn't really focus on combat techniques or combat in general.

World building - An alternate reality in which cultivators (they're called martial artists though they cultivate and they don't practice a lot of martial arts) are the leaders of humanity and if you're not then you have very limited prospects. As of chapter 228 our protagonist has practiced three martial arts moves (pole standing, some multihit move, and a stabbing kick). Everyone seems to have a very limited move set and it seems more about base stats being higher than actual martial arts practice. The government seems very wasteful in the way they train people and then let them get killed after investing millions and billions in training them.

Protagonist - Fang Ping is a a petty, greedy, and shameless man that is always thinking about benefits, money and revenge for petty slights. A lot of the novel is about him trying to scam people to raise his wealth or make deals and whatnot. The rest of the times he's whining about how unfair everything is or bragging about how great he is. Essentially, if you like Weed from LMS then you'll probably like the protagonist but for me he's the worst part of the novel most of the time.

The System - It doesn't talk or have a personality so that's great but it's very basic. It allows our protagonist to see his vitality (qi/ki/lifeforce) and mentality (spirit/mana/magic power) and directly raise it or replenish it with his wealth. Later it allows him to hone his bones with his wealth but it's less effective. In terms of OP-ness or usefulness I wouldn't rate it very high as our protagonist still needs loads of money for it to be useful and he still needs to cultivate himself and use pills. Its main use has been to replenish his stats.

So far it's not awful but it's far from the best thing one can spend their time reading. Thankfully there's not really face slapping or a peanut gallery that always seems to follow the protagonist praising how awesome they are every chapter. If it's happened then it's happened maybe once so far. I'd say it's a 2.5.

Edit - Dropped at 419. I just can't deal with the character's crappy personality anymore. Remember that he was supposedly an adult in a previous life but he acts like a 12 year old child who happens to be an a-hole. <<less

The good parts are a 3.5-4 for me. The bad parts (notably the first 100 chapters) get a 2.5-3.5 from me. This novel has a interesting premise and doesn't have most of the chinese xianxia tropes. Some thoughts:

    1. MC is one of those shameless scammer/stealing type MCs. He's notably good at using words to deceive people and dabbles in politics for a bit. MC never loses a fight.
    1. The MC says sexist and racist things sometimes, but the story isn't very sexist or racist. The conflict is mostly human... more>> race vs other race and there's not much racial conflict on Earth other than China numba wan (only around chapter 500 does other factions on Earth get introduced). Japan and Korea has zero mention in the story.
    1. No arrogant young masters, random families trying to take revenge, generally the world is very united against a common foe which is the main part of the story.
    1. Chapters are really really long. The author loves cramming in tons of world building and stuff, and pacing is relatively slow. This is why the first 100 chapters is so weak. Lots of exposition following by lots of forced events to let the MC get to a reasonable point.
    1. System is relatively elegant. MC gets wealth points equivalent to the value of things he obtains once he is out of danger. These wealth points don't disappear when the object leaves his possession etc. and he can spend them on upgrades or refueling his energy, with other functions unlocked as he hits milestone levels of wealth at a single time (e.g. 10k -> 100k -> 1mil ->....)
The novel has parts that are really interesting. But things kinda just get dragged on and on at times, so I couldn't stand it and dropped it at chapter 600. <<less

After a long time I started reading this novel again, which gave me some new thoughts, thus decided to renew my review.

My previous review.

Spoiler

I don't really know if I like this novel or not. The writing is good, characters are nice, tho MC is kinda dumb and childish for an adult. The premise itself, tho nothing new, is also good.

Seemingly everything is good about it. But reading it, I cant help but to be bored and skip text. The novel drags on and on about pointless things, going in depth about minor details while I'm waiting there for something to happen. When there is action it's great, but that is such a tiny portion of the novel that overall it left me bored. Its like watching a great anime but the story is interrupted by long series of filler content. Yes, the filler might be important for the story, filling in the world, but u cant help but to feel bored, as what ur looking for is to see MC in action and for the story to move forward.

[collapse]

Be it as poorly written as it was, I still mainly stand by my previous review, just rephrased and more clearly explained. So is this a bad novel? Not in any shape or form is this a bad novel.

The world building is great and realistic, many of the problems the world (society) faces can be traced into reality. The main character also is very realistic, with great personality. He is a schemer rather than brainless thug. He will make double triple sure everything is safe and will often overthink many things. That is given as he was just a normal everyday person that got thrust into a world where he has to kill and face death. He is scared, very scared, of many things, yet he is not a wuss. He will stand firm and overcome himself when needed. Added bonus is his interactions with his sisters, those are just the best xD.

So how come I dont rate this as 5/5, as it has seemingly everything right?

It all comes down to the pacing of the novel. It is slow.

Like mentioned before, the MC and the world, both are quite realistic. And realistic often means slower pace. It is especially true in this novel. There is no major power creep, no exiting battles 24/7, no fast progression. The novel does not focus on those, it focuses on MC slowly exploring the world, slowly gaining power, slowly building up wealth. The novel is built upon the fact that the MC does not have plot armor. So he will act very carefully, and will not have random heavenly encounters ever day. Even though MC has a system, it only helps him to train faster, and even for that he has to put in a lot of effort. It is a cheat in a way its not a cheat, as there are others without a system that have matched his pace. I guess it has to have something to do with having read so many novels, that such slow novel does not feel rewarding. Every now and then reading it I cant help but to wish for the MC to have faster progress, for the system to be more powerful and special, for there to be more special events only MC has accomplished. <<less

A decent novel that gave off the impression of the urban/modern-style cultivation novel but it actually is not. Some of the side characters are developed really well and not discarded, unlike the usual cultivation novels. However, the amount of fillers and the degrading translation quality made the experience quite a chore, especially when new factions and characters are introduced.

Hi guys, I am Chinese and I've read up to chapter 1209. I just wanted to improve my English, so I came here to read the novel that I loved. Scrolling through the comments, I see that most of you guys dislike the book, especially the MC. I mean, I do understand the differences in translations, but it was a bit over the top for me. I do agree that the first couple chapters are a bit boring, but little spoiler, all characters that are introduced, small or big, is... more>> going to play a huge role later in the book.

The author just wants to create a MC that is common like our daily life selves, but not too common (thus he is the MC). Most people say that it is going into a loop, like taunting -> fleeing -> killing -> gets treasures -> upgrade system -> improve martial arts -> repeat. But, there are minor details that people just skip, like how he improved the lives of his college and helped cure his teachers and classmates.

BIG SPOILER (DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED TO THIS)

Spoiler
[collapse]

There are nine levels, based on the current chapter of 700 and below, and once the MC starting getting higher in the levels, the secrets were no longer secrets and there would be new knowledge available. Between the chapters 400 to 900-ish is where MC levels up, fights enemies higher leveled than him, gains wealth, get into multiple battles, friends die, school wars with one zone, etc. After the 1000 Chapter, MC grows to understand that there are more enemies, in fact, whoever isn't human are enemies. He doesn't care much of what the system brings him, rather who made the system and who he really is. The MC no longer is "selfish", he was surprised to find that he would sacrifice his sister if all humans would survive. There are many scenarios where the author shows that MC has grown to protect human. <<less

2/5

Good

    • World building, it has been decent so far have not seen much but have heard of some.
    • MC personality is hit or miss, he does make dumb decisions but is not a mu*der hobo yet
    • System is not a OP cheat if anything it spurs him to make money
    • Not a typical xuanhuan/xinxia
    • No talks of Dao as of yet, sword dao gets old real fast
    • Realistic reactions/feelings from MC? Cares about his life a little to much
Bad

    • The comedy sucks it grows old so fast
        • The sister character is comedic relief at this point. KFC, round face, money grubber
        • Women have equal right and equal fights but get upset when they get hit, now that is a bit that has been staying for a while now
    • Combat is plain which could be a good thing but sometimes our MC is talking in the middle of it
    • Money namely pills = power
        • Yes you have to learn how to fight and advance in your cultivation, but almost every problem can be solved with enough resources
        • He starts a business investing all this money into but currently there is no profit
    • His MAU instructors hate him and push him to perform better which could be a good thing, but sometimes I wonder why he even stays
        • Then again they know how cunning and shameless he is
    • The start was rough needed a prologue
Check it out to see if you like, but beware there is some filler every know and than as well as a slow start. First review as I could not see the hype that people gave this, I will continue reading till the end of the translated chs to see if I want to continue as a MTL.

A pretty phenomenal and refreshing book that I eventually had to drop due to MTL. It has many excellent elements like the world building and even the action, but if I had to point out one thing that made this novel really stand out, it would be the humor. The dialogue, little jokes, and well fleshed out personalities of each character really sold me.

Unfortunately, as an English reader, this aspect is basically lost after around chapter 440 because everything following that point is MTL. I spent a lot of time... more>> on my own trying to clean up the book using regex find-replace searches but it got too tedious. The MTL grammar is actually quite good, but it doesn't convey the same level of humanity and liveliness that a good translation would. The proper nouns on the other hand are a gong show and are what make it a headache to read.

Would love to come back to this someday if it were properly translated. Ignoring translation quality, if I were to rate the book itself, I'd say it deserves 5 stars. <<less

this is an OK story with moments of fun that kept me reading despite the flaws. This MC isn't too bad at the start but once he gets to the school he becomes a petty money grubbing scam artist.
Spoiler

I don't mind money grubbers, I like Weed and Meng Hao, but this guy gets really obnoxious. He acts like he's twelve most of the time, pushes peoples buttons just because he can, and comes across as a prick and an as*hole (he gets worse the higher his cultivation gets). Worse yet, he's dense as a brick at times, bordering on idiotic; by chapter 300 this MC had me so irritated that I had to stop and read something else for a while before I came back or I would have rage-quit.

and somehow as a sophomore he gets everyone at the school to do exactly as he says and basically takes over. He gives commands to the instructors and they follow it with no problems, even though he's just a student. I don't get it.

[collapse]

the plot is OK and the filler is repetitive; scam-get money-cultivate-brag and show off then whine about being poor. Rinse and repeat. As for romance, I haven't seen any, (hopefully it's way later).

for now this story is a 2.5-3.

Most underrated novel. It's on "Reverend insanity"/"Star odyssey" level (note: personally I don't consider these novels best/I like most, but they have undeniable quality), but goes unnoticed. Yes, really.

It has few cons, like:

  • Name is sh*t (blame translators)
  • Has a system (it's well explained at the end, but still breaks immersion)
  • Not fully translated
  • No romance (I don't consider this as very important part, but good novel is like a good dish - it should be fully flavored)
It has only one really pro argument (when comparing with other decent novels) :

  • unrivaled HUMOR. That's it. I've read a lot of chinese webnovels (at least 50% of most popular/completed ones), but none of them could come even close. Seriously. I've read like 3 times secret tower arc (it's like after 1.2k chapters, i.e. Almost the end) in MTL and every time laughed till tears. Genius.
P.S. Despite having some super humor, it's not a comedy. It's more like QT/Guy Ritchie movies (not as dark, though).

i dunno wat all the hype about dis but its 70% fillers 20% worthwhile read 10% recyclable. I had to skip so much info dump that extends the chapter so much, which wasn't even a big plot point, that it made me vomit a little.

... and a delivery company!? really? too many risk for so very low return, it would've been understandable if a pandemic or monsters were running rampant then a high paying delivery company COULD work... or he has teleportation powers and makes deliveries instantaneous... but no... just... more>> stahp.

thus upon reaching chapter 104 I just had to visit the review section here and yes some made sense about all things... but it also made me realize a lot of the cons for me to stop before I started to invest my emotions further into it. <<less

Update: I couldn't help myself and read it to the end. I will describe the novel in one word, Awesome. It's as simple as that. The plot, the characters, the fights, the suspense, the thrill, the comedy, the deaths, the mysterious.. Everything is managed excellently by the author. From start to finish, I was never let down by the story and didn't have to skip anything. If there were any flaws, they were automatically ignored by my brain. The story was that good.

Previously at 349:

This has been a treat so... more>> far, still early with 1000+ch to go. It has slightly longer chapters, with a good plot and nice humor here and there.

The only complain I have is that the translator is slower then the author. The author finished the story in 2 years and translator is much slower. Plus, I read a couple of chapters in mtl but its poorly done. That takes all the fun away from the story.

No choice but to wait for a long time now. <<less

A very well made novel.

Rating 4.5

Note: Check my other reviews to decide whether to take this review seriously or not.

Pros:

    • The system is very thought out.
    • You can't just eat pills to increase in rank.
    • Cultivation is also very well thought out.
    • You have to hone different parts of your body to increase in rank.
    • Every rank in cultivation has a unique thing to it, not like some other novel where difference in rank is just that you can punch faster.
    • Side characters are fleshed out.
    • Good character development for semi-main side characters.
    • Fights are detailed.
    • MC sometimes say sexist sh*t to his classmates as jokes but he nor the story itself is sexist.
    • Chapter are very detailed. World building is just starting to take shape 250ch in. Very good world building you can draw a accurate map based on chapters.
The world in this novel just makes so much sense.

Cons:

    • A little slow paced, actually this lets the story flows very nicely (not a con for me might be for some one else.)

I'm the new translator for this novel and here is what I think about this novel:

Pros:

  • The plot progresses at a decent pace
  • Decent character development (even though I would have preferred the MC to stay more selfish)
  • Side characters are designed well, and the ones from the start do not get completely forgotten as the plot progresses
  • Smart MC, albeit the system did make him quite OP
  • Very funny humour
  • The world-building is done well
  • The system is explained decently
Cons:

  • Lacks a prologue, the very start of the novel was pretty random
  • Would have preferred plot armour to be even less, but doesn't ruin the plot

This is one of a few CN novel that I truly enjoy.

Pros:

  • The plot is very consistent throughout the whole story. The story itself advances at a fairly moderate pace, being fast at times so as to not make reader bored, while progressing slowly in some parts to allow for more details. The secrets introduced in the story slowly got unravel as our MC gets stronger, and most (if not all) questions are answered by the end of the story.
  • Character building is very well done. We see a slightly selfish, greedy MC at the start of the novel, whose only goal is to use his knowledge of the future to become rich, to someone with the main goal of becoming stronger to protect his family members, and finally become the heroic leader of the world. You can slowly but surely see the changes in his ideas and believes as the plot progress.
  • Aside from the MC, the side characters are well fleshed out too. Most of the side characters stay relevant to the story, progressing along with the MC as they each show their own value. Interactions between characters feel real and humorous, and while there are flaws here and there, they are small enough that they don't affect the story as a whole.
  • The antagonists. This is not your typical troupe of having some antagonists portrayed as terrifying only for them to become a joke when they fight the MC. As the story progress and secrets gradually unfurled, you will gradually realize how far-reaching and covert the machinations set by these beings are.
  • Some might consider this a cons, personally though I prefer this kind of story with only subtle romance. Throughout the story, there are only hints of romance, even though you will know who the main heroine is since early on.
Cons:

  • Even though it is negligible, plot armor still exist in this story. While not being obvious enough to break your immersion, as you thought back some details might not be that logical or coincidental.
  • The whole world as a whole is a bit too righteous. As this is noticed and mentioned even by the MC, I believed there is nothing much to say about this.
  • The world building is only done well in China and the land MC comes to. The other parts of the world is only mentioned in passing or in brief sections. I would prefer the MC cooperates with characters from other countries more, since the whole story is pretty much only about him and his fellow Chinese friends.
For the record, I truly recommend everyone to check out this novel. It is among the top quality webnovels that can be found out there. I do see some loss of humor in the translation done by the previous team, and I can only hope that the quality of the translation will improve so as to bring all the readers the most enjoyable experiences with this novel.

This story is definitely at its best, even if you compare it to any other story that is considered extremely good, I assure you

Throughout the story, you will see something very realistic about humanity, I sincerely believe that people would sacrifice themselves for the greater good if we found ourselves in a similar situation, not everyone would do that, but the story also portrays that, we definitely have an insane animal inside all of us, just like a father would sacrifice himself to save his family, you can relate to... more>> that

Every detail, every point, the cultivation formula itself at the beginning is something extremely scientific and realistic to the point that you would agree that if there was spiritual energy in the real world, it would be similar to this.

I prefer not to give too many details, it really is a very good read, unfortunately the world building became too big and exaggerated after chapter 1000, I managed to read without skipping many chapters up to that point, but it is still a read that can change your view of some things in your real life, so I don't even need to say that you might find some characters from other stories futile

Worthy story

Spoiler

The gatekeeper at the entrance to the catacombs (another world) crying as he broke the door, many chapters before, when the protagonist was weak, he looked at this door that was a treasure, he said that someday he would destroy this door and make many weapons and the two gatekeepers laughed waiting for that day. The gatekeeper cried because the other one who accompanied him unfortunately died in the catacombs helping humanity chapters before, breaking this door symbolizes something very big in the context of history, something worthy of being written in many historical books. In fact, the entire story is as if it portrays a legend.

Spoiler

When Tian Mu retired after suffering an irreversible injury and went to a small village to live the rest of his life (the village where he was born, in his childhood). The protagonist arrived to pick him up with a cat fruit that would cure him, with him leaving and the people of the village watching him, with the children shouting that they will fight him, this type of scene is very mysterious psychologically for us who are reading, some time later he became a Paragon/true God)

Spoiler

When the protagonist walked through his hometown and felt that his home world was transforming, adding the city into his home world, and at that moment, all the people who had faith in humanity and wanted to fight, appeared in his home world, and soon after they appeared, all these people shot up in strength, this is the Human Emperor, when humanity believes in him, he becomes strong, and his strength is the strength of humanity.

Spoiler

When the protagonist claimed the Dao in front of the entire Three Realms, showing that he had the strength of a God at Rank 9, and many other scenes that the entire "universe" saw/heard, including Earth

Spoiler

When Ji Yao (a girl enemy) passed away in front of Fang Ping...

[collapse]

This story is really dense in many layers, other characters besides the protagonist have different fortunes and personalities, it is not a dry world, unfortunately there is a lot and a lot to read that could be shorter, I believe that 1000 chapters of this story are equivalent to 1200 of some others? I don't know. But I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.

OBS: BEST ENDING OF ALL NOVEL I'VE READ <<less

Interesting premise and cultivation with interesting characters.

My favorite character after Fang Ping is Zhan / Wang Jinyang

Other than them I like the feeling this brought. But considering everything a very decent cultivation novel.

Good premise, a very good plot, a good world building with unique features and world system materials.

Good points:

... more>> Solid characters and good humor as well as a good way to interpret typical cliche scenarious. Side characters are likeable and contributes well to the story, villains and antagonist are well describe and introduced.

Everything was going until author decides to write longer chapters and prolong the story, adding nonsense and repeatable arcs and repeating round robin style of plot story. Sad it got probably gotten a good reviews then sponsors and editors forced author to prolong story and make it really bad at nonsense. <<less
