Good novel. Quoting a guy in the comments, I came for the Ero, but stayed for plot. This is a very good novel, definitely for plot. Not "plot, " but plot. It's pretty interesting with some "academic" scenes in the midst. If you hate it, just stop reading. Why are all haters like this?

Surprisingly good story for a R-18 novel. The character development is good. The story isn't that ridiculous like the girl suddenly begging for d*** or mind break them with dream/magic but have a proper story.

An interesting pastime.

If you're looking for a different take on human relationships, character building, tempering one self and so on, this could definitely provide some food for the mind.

MC could be described with a single word as a gambler, but not a reckless one. He'll observe, calculate and act accordingly without going out of his way. The story contains a sweet mixture of angst, expectations, uncertainly, love, le*dness and other. And aside from occasional jumps or loose ends it flows consistently.

The characters are actually being developed actively and frequently find themselves in certain potentially very frustrating situations.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the story.

P.S. I don't think MC deserves to be called 'scum' three times before one does even start reading the story.

When you start reading this, you might be offended because of the topic, but keep reading and it gets so much better. As of 32, the first girl is hardly mentioned, she's apparently being "saved for later". However, there is another girl who he manages to "charm" and their interaction is getting better and better. She was originally a side-character but now she feels like a main lead. Really like the way the author describes things (or how Pun translates it) but right now, the vibe... more>> feels very sugary or vanilla. Maybe the feeling of encountering first love for the main characters? In fact, this is what provoked me to contribute to Pun's Patreon (first time donating to a light novel).

Hopefully this writing style continues without losing steam. This is a harem, so we'll see when the other girls start developing. If you like to read well-fleshed out characters instead of 2D girls, go for this! <<less

So far this is better than kininaru imo. Yes it's r*pe yes it's blackmail but the tags already there so if you dont like this kind of story move away. Also blackmail+rape=s*um MC

If you can get past the dark themes (well, personally I didn't find it that dark), this is a worthwhile read. It's a dark comedy and the MC is an antihero of sorts. Good plot and character development.

I agree with a reviewer that said it's not the best as erot*c fiction, because it's not very descriptive in that department. Regardless, the scenes are always interesting though.

Started interesting, even with the forgotten character. Then it suddenly had a massive deus ex and poor plot. Now it is a battle novel? Author keeps forcing the Asahina route, despite being poorly thought out.

Tldr plot railroading, inconsistencies, and just weirdness.

I can't say its the worst nor can I fault it for being unabashedly hentai/ecchi/power-trip but it's definitely not something I can recommend. The MC is pretty unlikable and the heroines are weak and stereotypical. Oh yeah, there's no major antagonist as of chapter 16, the hero seems to steamroll through all opposition. Definitely a 'Mary sue' story.

Nonetheless, the translations are good and easy to read, definitely not machine translated.

Started fine. MC is a cruel and sadistic f*ck, he doesn't start very likable 'cause he's too cold and he only knows how to give stick to his s*x s*aves and doesn't give them carrots, but he developed immediately and improves soon after few chapters, he becomes to be more considerate while still being a sadist, a good balance. Good start but it's really going downhill. The plot isn't done well, it becomes like an action novel with quite a lot of plot holes. I read this for Ero, although I don't mind staying for the action but the motivation for continuing this becomes less knowing that the novel is unfinished.

I was hoping for this novel to be a bit similar to PLIC, but later in the story and Ero starts being left out and plot isn't satisfying. I might've given this another +1 point if Asahina improves her character. Tbh I would prefer Shirasaka Yukino from PLIC than her, even tho Shirasaka Yukino is annoying her character is well fleshed out and had a reasonable cause of her actions.
