Honestly this novel is as boring as it's title.I like fluffy sweet moments in any novel but in this novel the fMC is a coward like way too much.... more>>

MC is a reincarnator even if he loved her very much atleast he should have made her feel confident about her looks and let her develop some courage to fight back when someone insults her but he has never done that from the time he met her in childhood. Everytime she is depressed or stuck in a situation like a hero he comes and protect her. It's quite boring to think like she's a precious gem so he must protect her all the time. I think this was written by someone who wants their spouse to be obedient and never question

Good Translation, Plot and Character development

Protagonist is the one with a good head, martial sword saint level, mysterious training and childhood sweetheart. Story is and will progress slowly with twist and turn making MC reveal few of his power with his extensive powerful organization with Qing politics classic struggle.

It have been a good read and hope the quality of translation will be maintain in upcoming chapters.

So yeah everything good except the racism against western white people with blond hair and blue eyes. Though ig it's not as bad as other nationalism novels where MC constantly talks about why their country is the best and constantly saying other countries are evil and can't compare <<less

It's an interesting premise but having read 75 chapters of this, it feels a bit like a bait and switch. I was expecting multiple scenes of the MC standing on the sidelines with his wife, having changed from the role of participant to spectator in the shuraba. Instead, there's a bunch of politics, assassination attempts, dog food scenes, and MC's brotherhood with his subordinates.

Which isn't to say that it's a bad thing - I was particularly entertained by the assassination attempt that opened up with an act so blatant that... more>> everyone in the city was a witness to it. But overall the quality is a bit lacking. It does a lot of different things but doesn't particularly excel in any aspect - the politics doesn't have all that much depth, the cultivation stuff hasn't been that exciting so far barring one particular arc, and the relationships have barely gotten off the ground. I think part of this is that the prose also feels lacking.

So by this point a lot of different things have happened but the main focus of the story, the relationships, have only now gotten past the introductory phase. Some of the other stuff will likely have consequences further down in the story and the story does a decent job of following up on things that happen in earlier chapters. <<less

My problem is the fact they keep switching between names and title in the story thats make me need to read twice sometimes, thats also the case for some dialogue is also have the same issue where I need to read it twice to make sure who is talking

This one feels like worth for casual reading because of the story quality but also not really because the problem I stated above
