Poignant and cute short story.

MC was taken away by the ML from an abusive family. MC grew up being an afterthought to his brother who was doted on, so has very low self esteem. He feels unworthy of the ML. Happy ending.

Enjoyable read, doesn't have any surprises, but still a nice story.

Heartaches with some tenderness and thankfully a Happy Ending.

MC had gone through sooo much and still tried to resist his true happiness. I'm so glad while there's someone who tried to break them apart, there's another who knows what to say to make them realise what they truly want and need in this life.

This is such a sweet, healing short story. It's a story about someone rescuing another and the other not ever feeling good enough. But it doesn't matter if the world says one person is good enough for someone, it just matters what that someone thinks (and can persist in thinking). In reality, people can get worn down by reality and many feelings of love are not strong enough to fight that. But I have hope that their love, slowly nurtured over almost a decade, is an exception to that reality.

A beautiful, gentle story. Telling anything detailed about the plot would spoil it, as it is too short. Basically, a typical plot of "a young man is saved, grows up near the saver, both fall in love, some intereference, eventual happy ending", only condensed to its essense disregarding all irrelevant plot details.
