This is a solid 2 star story for me. It wasn't so bad that it was worth of 1 star, but giving it 3 stars feels far too generous for this kind of story. Even a 2.5 felt like I was over-praising this story.

First off, the entire premise of the story is our MC dies and is reborn in the body of somebody who was previously mentally handicapped. Her entire family from immediate to even extended family adore our MC because she's like, the only girl in all three of... more>> these major families, and in this world, there's a lot more males compared to females.

Our heroine might have been 28 in her past life, but if you think she's smart or level headed, you're absolutely WRONG. She's a f*ckING IDIOT. 100%. If anybody told me this is how a 28 year old acts, I would laugh in their face. She, quite literally, DROOLS and spaces out when she sees hot men. I've never understood this trope. Is this supposed to be funny? I personally think it's embarrassing, that the MC is so s*upid she quite literally drools and goes 'no thoughts head empty' when she sees a hot guy.

But I digress.

She's 15 in the story, and I honestly basically completely ignore the fact that she was 28 or whatever in her previous life, because in my opinion, it doesn't even add anything to her character or background. She acts like she's 15 chasing after hot celebrities. She doesn't act like someone who experienced the vicissitudes of adult life. I mean, she's always like "I was 28 in my previous life I'm not a child" -proceeds to act like a child-. Lol. So funny.

In any case, her previous life experience is not important at all. It's only purpose is to make you feel 'oh noes our MC had such a sad life before wehh' and by that I mean she had 0 social skills previously (which is why I'm shocked she's able to interact with people in this world?) and no family and never left her house etc. etc. you know, your standard 'loser' 'otaku' character.

Honestly the entire story felt like it was written by a 14 year old girl who has an obsession with anime and reverse harem and indulgently wrote this story for themselves, probably to self-insert into it.

I know I'm wailing on it, but I did enjoy the story for a little bit at the very least. I did end up reading the entire story, but my only issue with this is that the entire antagonist of the story doesn't even show up til like 70% of the way into the story?

There are these two characters in the story that disappear after returning to the girl's house, everybody knows this, everybody knows her half-sister doesn't return and they can't reach them and what do they do?

"Oh no we can't reach them!"

MC: I have a bad feeling about this!

Proceeds to start cooking food and everybody forgets about this people for another 50 chapters until they show up again

Ok. LOL.

Anyways the story flow was pretty horrendous, the plot was sub par, the romance was okay, and the antagonist was pretty s*upid. Character interactions were all right, and honestly, the story was entertaining for at least a good portion of the book. But, in my opinion, the slice-of-life portion of the story was what made it amusing to me. When we got a big antagonist involved, that's when I feel like the story started to fall apart.

Also, the ending was SO ABRUPT. Literally they're like WAR WITH THE MONSTERS GRRRRR

One page later

MC's pet eats the Queen, then the war ends.

.......... OK. LOL.

A 18-something long ass war against these things and it ends like this?

Okay. Whatever.

It's pretty clear to me I think the author just got bored and wanted to end this story quickly. There were loose ends I feel like never got wrapped up cause the author was just like lol ok doneeeee.

ANYWAYS in conclusion, I only read this because I was super f*cking bored and had zero expectations but in the end, the story still managed to disappoint me. I used to vet my stories more carefully, checking on NovelUpdates before I read anything but nowadays I just pick and choose stories off CN websites when I'm browsing around and BOY do I always pick the worst stories LOL. <<less

The novel is simple and cute. Sometimes the storyflow is a bit too slow, other times it is a bit too rushed, but overall a good read to while away the time. Nothing too new or unique, so if you're looking for new elements, this one is not it. The advantage is that you can read mindlessly and quickly.

Edit: one element I found hard to swallow, is that ML fell in love with FL when she was 15 years old, but looked a lot younger (about 10). He was... more>> over 30 at the time. In this world, humans can live to 500, so age is just a number. Moreover, before transmigration, FL was 28 years old. Still, it was hard to accept and made me want to drop it a few times. They did not kiss until she was over 30 (luckily!!) <<less

I greatly enjoyed reading this story. The pace for me is just right and their are many twists and turns that made the story memorable. The MC and ML are op, however, there is growth in the main characters' powers. I'm glad the zergs are wiped out in the end. (◍•ᴗ•◍) ❤

The novel isn't that great. She is s*upid as they said. I only read 6 chapters but I can already tell how boring it will be. When they introduced the whole concept of the story/world and it really wasn't the best explanation I have read. I couldn't help but think that author had an idea but didn't have the will to explain properly and that's how it turned out. Everything didn't make sense at the beginning.

She transformed to another body and she couldn't understand the language so she didn't talk so that they don't find it weird that she doesn't understand their language 💀? I mean, you did this for what I still find it weird she acts smart but is not?! I don't find it reasonable at all. And then she went with them and acted cute or whateve 🔪🙄. Suddenly "the same day" she discovered the scar on her body and went into the space (I don't know how to explain this place) it's the typical place that the FL always gets in chinese novels where she has her own space or somethin. Like she directly discovered how that sh*t works and went there on her first day! They again explained some stuff but I couldn't concentrate at all and so didn't understand 😸 I didn't really want to understand cause I felt it's the same old "like every chinese novel" <<less

It's ok, not that well-written. After 45 chapters, there's not much movement with regards to the plot. There are a lot of characters introduced which means each character was not given enough time to be built up. Even MC's characterization does not seem to have any direction. She's supposed to be a 28 yr old soul with a sad backstory. However, you won't feel any connection with the 'emotional' scenes. The athor failed to establish the character well.

(￢_￢;) Though I do some what like the premise of the story, the MC character is a stretch for me. She's immature, childish, and the author tries too much to make her become OP in too short a time. I just can't see her changing into the kind of MC I'll like. I really liked this novel and it is one I'm definitely going to come back and reread. It was cute and comical. The MC's family is great and very doting towards the MC. The romance between the MC and ML wasn't rushed either, it was slow-paced. So I really liked that.
