The story did not really age well compared to the LN version cuz duh?! LNs are supposed to be the polished version and if you experienced the hiatus and the time when this thing finally got picked up and finished, reading this is definitely a worthwhile experience and if you missed that time then.... I'm sorry but i believe you won't enjoy this as much as we did. <<less

When grandpa was a young lad there's this novel called Tales of Demons and Gods but we call it TDG for short. Now....this thing if i remember correctly is the very novel that introduced me to the world of Webnovels™ when the translators haven't caught up yet we would always get 2 chapter a day.....until....it ended and we finally caught up.......the author started doing other stuff and almost stopped writing to finish the novel and only updated once a month, in doing so the F5 sect of the novel disbanded and the sect for the Dao of Patience has been established. The Dao of Patience has quite a long journey, the sect has no rules it doesn't matter how old, ugly, good or evil you are because our Dao is only focused on Patience for the novel at first people couldn't adjust properly and suffered Qi deviation and dropped the novel but a few others grandpa included persevered

Every month a new chapter is released our sect would hold meetings and comprehend our experiences for 20 minutes on average and go no  our seperate ways to further improve ourself on Patience thus repeating the cycle. <<less

The story is about Amakawa Haruto while on a bus looking for his childhood friend(pretty surprising that the childhood friend is the main heroine tbh) died of a car crash from our old friend truck kun along with other people. He reincarnated as a young orphan named Rio with a pretty dark past.

The story is pretty great with a little bit of drama and action here and there however the LN version is definitely where the Icing of the cake is.

The harem is pretty much one-sided and i have a slim feeling it won't happen anytime soon and a huge chance that the one who will win is the main heroine

overall i recommend this one for those guys that don't like "Beta" harem MCs and i definitely recommend the LN version. <<less

I heavily recommend this one because it's not really like (imo mind you) the same as the other JP harems because 1. MC never wanted a harem(maybe the past him might want it) infact he hated women for a while and his personality changed from normal into Badass angry dude(not arifureta edgy though) 

2. A harem with almost no Ecchi moments which is pretty rare for that genre.

3. The story is more fleshed out than the WN version and some stuff and events not explained in the WN is explained or happened in the LN

4. More contents than the WN. More heroes, another world, characters , events and more character deaths not gonna spoil who though

anywho this novel is a must read even if you don't like harems
