Shu Ning (MC) and Yin Mingzheng (ML)'s relationship is so f*cking sweet, I'm really a sucker for the Sun and Moon dynamics during their highschool... more>> era. Drama is more prevalent than Comedy, mostly because of the misunderstandings. Though the misunderstandings to me are pretty reasonable, both of them are teenagers (MC is in a teenager's body) and everytime MC tried to be upfront it always ended up badly. Same with Heartthrob's Cannon Fodder Childhood Friend, Shu Ning does everything to make Mingzheng's life better but since Mingzheng is an actual helpless teenager it's more drama than comedy in most scenes where they interact. Once the misunderstandings clear up it's so satisfying because now everything is sincere and heartfelt between them. Mingzheng definitely ate Shu Ning's v*rginity at the (non existent) post epilogue smut extra. <<less

A bit of a warning, I really didn't enjoy how the author rushed the ending but if you're here for the dynamics this one is spot on. Somehow this book's ML is the most yandere of the books I added to this list so far. Anyway, Ji Mingxia (MC) is a doting mother hen when it comes to Yu Ning (OGMC, but now ML) similarly to the previous books Ji Mingxia tries to make his life easier by giving him gifts and such or helping him integrate with their peers. But its a big more challenging because of the horror and supernatural elements, Yu Ning is genuinely creepy to most of the class. So Ji... more>> Mingxia is the type to care deeply, and Yu Ning eats it up like a cat soaking in the sun. He does dote on Ji Mingxia too, but in a teasing way. If ghosts try to touch Ji Mingxia, he'd take awhile to destroy them just so he can enjoy Ji Mingxia clinging to him. He's sly like that, haha! 

If you like the more horror aspects of the dynamics in this list, this is a novel for you!! I really enjoy their banter, especially because Yu Ning was initially suspicious of Ji Mingxia.  <<less
