The title does not do this novel justice lol it's an incredible journey featuring a very strong FL in the same level as Deng Hua Xiao, Feng Xing and Thousand Miles of Bright Moonlight which says a LOT about this novel. 1000/10 LOVED IT! This is a cultivation story with an actual anti-hero FL that realistically stays true to her nature. She's made some questionable choices but we ultimately come to understand why she is the way that she is and love her for it. We readers are like the ML in that regard lol. Anyways, very intricate world building — almost on par with "Unconscious" and every arc is fast-paced. Romance transcends time and I love how the ML loves the FL not despite of her flaws, but because of her flaws. He loves her in her entirety.
Some details were glossed over and I feel like the story could have been longer to actually delve deeper into the characters. But loved everyone in this story especially Little Skull!

10000/10 One of the BEST i've ever read. It's heavy on politics with all the characters being highly intelligent. Plot is riveting and action-driven with little to no dull moments. No arc is dragged on for too long and the subtlety of the romance is addicting. We have ambiguous relationships but only one true ML. Journey has similarities with GoT as well. My only gripe is that there are some loose ends with certain characters that the author might have forgotten to conclude or is just left to our own interpretation.
@Peqa2890 it's subtle in the sense that their affection for each other isn't explicitly stated, but we see it in their actions. Romance takes a back seat for this one, but we still get bits and pieces of it throughout the novel - just enough to keep us romance lovers happy lol. Also, while it's a bit of a slow burn and we're not really sure of their relationship until around 200+ chapters in, the gradual development of their relationship is extremely satisfying!
