fave aspect: the writing!!! like omg. while the humor can be a bit repetitive, who doesn't love face slapping moments and incredible brutal honesty from a man who can back up his bark. but also the emotional turmoil is -- devastating. mc dedicated his life to mount hua, but the distinction between the one he lived previously vs the present is gut punching -> great character!!:) we all crode <<less

fave: imma be real, this was mid. at some point I just turned my brain off, sure misunderstandings are fun, but only when you have compelling characters. at some point they all spouted preset dialogue, like ok??? still the author's world building is good, and the aforementioned misunderstandings are entertaining:) <<less
