      @ridoux2000 I suppose there's also 'A Wild Last Boss Appeared' and 'She Professed Herself The Pupil Of The Wiseman'.

      But otherwise, I can't really think of things that meet your criteria. Like 'How NOT To Summon A Demon Lord' has an NPC in the world before player, but she essentially did nothing until the player arrived (waited in dungeon). Most of the series that come to mind have the NPC arrive in the world the same time as the player, like 'Overlord' or 'Maou-sama Retry'

      It's a shame though, I already read those two a long time ago.

      I feel there is a lack of novels in this specific genre.
