Transferred into a world a tad bit to the left of his own, with a second chance at life hinging on his success in a... more>> sequel version of a game he played for a long time, which the protagonist was supposedly transported into as he has the game open on his phone when he got into an accident.  I enjoyed learning more about his character through the story, and the fact that this is a sequel means that he doesn't always know the ideal position or strategy, as well as how the real world around him differs from what he knows of his own.  <<less

In the past, he was an idol trainee for the sense of belonging and camaraderie it gave him. He doesn't feel particularly talented and tries to step out of the group to 'not hold them back,' to find the system that brought him back in time will kill them off if he doesn't stay with them. Through the story we see different facets of the members, the value of their relationships as they go through the trials of the story, and the growth of Tae-Yoon's initially dismal confidence and self-esteem.  <<less

I may have said 'Sunfishes' system is incredibly frustrating but that is nothing compared to this one, which isn't just unclear; it's also rude, unhelpful, and downright malicious. I couldn't put it better than Iwol, who said the system was toying with and manipulating him, but he had no choice but to follow along because it was holding his sisters life hostage. This story can get frustrating, and the ab*se he suffered at home and later in the workplace shows through in his perspective, both explicitly and in his general outlook and mannerisms. It is however frustrating in a way that makes you mad at characters or the system, not at the story or the... more>> author.

This is a really good novel, it balances elements well to not become overwhelming. I like the characters, I want to give them hugs.  The pacing is a bit fast for my taste, but it isn't a problem for comprehension. <<less
