The writing is good and there's nothing wrong about the novel, but it's a bit too boring for me. The story is super slow. I stopped at chapter 17 and the main characters barely interacted. Up until now the story focused a lot on the dynamics of the school, on the fight between the protagonist's family, but the focus on the main characters isn't so much what made me want to stop reading.... more>>

Maybe I should persist a little more because I really liked Tan Mo and still want to read more about him and his rehabilitation but the author focused so much on unnecessary things that I'll take a break for now. But I will try to read again later   <<less
