Too bad that child was nothing, has no brain, no filial, and no attitude. Also ML's mom died due to cancer, so sad. 

FL? When they're children she's so annoying, but I understand she is just a child and doesn't comprehend ML's real situation yet. However she is indeed very nice to him. She clearly protects him so many times, she genuinely cares. Along the time, she matured. Because of that, finally I can forgive her childishness before. But their love story is really hard, there's many reality aspects that struck me, it's not like "your other typical story" where ML can easily get anything he wants. It's heartbreaking, first his family is shattered in front of his face. Second, he lost his mom (in common novel usually his mom will be cured, but his mom isn't). Third, he is accepted to computer science but because it's not his passion he ended it halfway. Usually some big brain ML doesn't care about his real interest and just takes any major casually, leads to success. In the end ML just became a teacher. This part is so realistic, it doesn't take common pathway.  <<less
