Masterpiece GENUINE MASTERPIECE. I went in this blind not expecting much and then came out a completely new person. THE FOUND FAMILY ELEMENTS WERE UNEXPECTED BUT GREATLYYTY WELCOMED. I also wasn't at all expecting any thriller/horror elements to be incorporated in this story, and so coming from a huge horror fanatic, it's safe to say those small moments were, without a doubt, my favorites. The romance between Leovald and the protagonist(his name is a spoiler so I'm not sure if it'd be appropriate to just casually mention here...) WAS SO WELL WRITTEN every moment between them was just so profoundly intimate and beautiful. Hands down one of the best novels I've read.
