I actually hesitated quite a bit before adding this novel. A lot of people disliked the initial arc of the novel , but those who persisted actually ended up liking it quite well. I wanted to add a variety of strong women? She obviously is not what we consider traditionally badass. But she does have redeeming qualities (believe me).
