Alternative story of the novel "Let the Villain Gol" but it technically takes place before since it shows the beginning of the apocalypse, and in "Let the Villain Go"  MC has already been surviving for a few years.

I found it lighter than the other version because MC already starts OP and doesn't take much damage. But it still has enough conflict and emotion. <<less

Meanwhile, she gradually realizes that perhaps these missions are an opportunity she has gained to train before her own world suffers the same fate: The apocalypse.The bad side of this novel is that the author failed to make the resource accumulation part (Hording) satisfactory. Lists after Lists without any purpose to the story, which I, as well as many other readers, simply ignored because they break the story's pace and are completely unnecessary.The good side of the story is that because MC always visits other worlds, the story does not lose its charm after the initial part when the purpose of long-term survival is resolved. Therefore, it avoids falling into the trap of having the main genre "survival" completely invalidated. <<less

But don't expect too much horror or action; this novel still leans more toward "thriving in the apocalypse" than "surviving the traumas of the apocalypse", or "Becomong the strongest in the Apocalypse". <<less

Rarely in these novels do I feel that the characters have personalities that go beyond stereotypes and cliches. Of course, this is still present, but there is an extra spice that makes you get attached to them. Good side: Good side: MC doesn't start on a safe base, or with time to accumulate resources, so although this diminishes some of the pleasure of the hoarding part, it also ensures that from the beginning there are risks and tension, which makes immersion in this universe easier.

Downside: MC is a bit fickle; sometimes a fearless robot, sometimes too afraid to act. Also has a not-so-subtle "not like other girls" vibe. But nothing too absurd or frequent, and I managed to ignore those parts.

The story begins with Gu Ning, the protagonist, fleeing with her neighbors and other people she saved along the way, towards a bus she arranged so that everyone, even the elderly, could escape. Covering up so that everyone could get on the bus first, she fights the zombies only to realize that the bus left without her because the occupants were afraid she had been bitten. Her injury was just a cut but now being abandoned among a horde of zombies, she succumbs while listening to the screams of her parents who were not allowed to leave the bus.

However, she is the protagonist and not extra 1, precisely because she survives despite having been bitten by a zombie. When she opens her eyes she finds herself in a space with a door that takes her to a parallel universe where the zombie apocalypse never happened.She soon discovers that not only can she access this other universe freely, she has also undergone a mutation that increases her physical attributes, making her much stronger than a normal human. <<less

If you are still new to C-novels, you might like this one since you haven't gotten tired of the cliches yet. 

Or if you just want something simple to binge-read as a comfortable read without many surprises and with the familiar cliches;

This one almost didn't make the list... of the "Slow Life in the Apocalypse" type novels, this one really isn't that well written. Even I,... more>> who don't care much about plot errors, was annoyed by this one. The way the hotel works is uncreative and borders on uninteresting. The world building is extremely lazy and the protagonist is extremely  lukewarm, she neither irritates nor inspires you. That said, if you want a novel with no romance, no tension at all, with kingdom building characteristics (barelly), this might be a good one if you have nothing else to read. <<less
